Aga Khan IV Funeral Services Take Place in Lisbon

On Saturday, the private services and funeral of the 49th hereditary imam of the Shiite Ismaili Muslim group Aga Khan IV took place in Lisbon.
Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Spain's King Juan Carlos attended the ceremony.
Portugal's President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and the mayor of Lisbon were also among the attendees.
The Ismaili religious community said Prince Karim will be buried during a private burial ceremony in Aswan.
The Ismaili Imamat said, in a statement on Thursday, 'Prince Karim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan IV will be buried in Aswan, southern Egypt, on Sunday, after a funeral ceremony which will be held at the Ismaili Center in the capital, Lisbon, on Saturday, in the presence of community leaders, members of the Portuguese government, and prominent foreign figures.'

9 Iranian Nuclear Experts Killed in Strikes, Says IDF

Rana Atef On Saturday, Israel Defense Forces said that nine Iranian nuclear scientists and experts involved in Iran's nuclear program were killed during its strikes on the country. The IDF said Ali Bakhouei Karimi, Mansour Asgari, and Saeed Barji were killed by strikes on Friday. Their deaths were confirmed by Iran's Tasnim news agency. The Boeing 787 jet, which was on its way to London, crashed shortly after taking off. The plane's black box, was recovered from a rooftop near the crash site and India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau said that it had begun its work with 'full force.' Jordan, Syria & Lebanon Reopen Airspace for Civilian Aviation

Rana Atef On Saturday, air traffic resumed in the countries that closed their airspace after the exchanged attacks between Israel and Iran. Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon all announced the full reopening of their airspace to civilian aviation after assessing the security situation. National airlines began gradually resuming their flights, with assurances of adherence to international safety standards. In Jordan, the decision to reopen the airspace came into effect at 7:30 a.m., following a precautionary closure on Friday evening. In Syria, the Civil Aviation Authority announced that the skies are now "safe and accessible," with both international and domestic flight corridors ready for use. As for Lebanon, air traffic resumed as of 10:00 a.m., and flights at Beirut Airport were rescheduled accordingly. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Ben Gurion Airport—Israel's main international airport—announced its closure on Saturday until further notice, following Iran's overnight missile launch in response to Israel's large-scale attack on Iranian territory. Iran's Civil Aviation Authority also announced on Saturday the closure of Iranian airspace 'until further notice,' according to the official IRNA news agency, as the escalation between Iran and Israel entered its second day. IRNA reported, 'No flights will operate from any of the country's airports in order to ensure passenger safety… until further notice.'
