Beloved Hallmark Movie Actress, 45, Shares Update on Family Health Crisis
Nikki DeLoach is one of the Hallmark channel's fan-favorite stars, and her movies always bring people so much joy, hope, and all the warm fuzzies. She has a knack for making you fall in love with each and every character she plays through her genuine nature, which clearly echoes her off-screen persona as well.
DeLoach is very active on social media, and she hasn't been shy about sharing her personal struggles on Instagram.
Some fans might not realize that her son, Bennett, 8, suffers from heart issues, which require regular trips to the hospital each year for check-ups on his condition.

Yesterday, she shared another heartfelt update on his ongoing health crisis on Instagram, after a trip to Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
She started the post off with, "Every six months, Bennett and I make our way to @childrensla for his heart check-up. I have a routine. Morning prayers. I cover myself with every item that gives me strength."
She also said, "... these healthcare professionals are actual heroes. We literally cannot live without them."

Luckily, as DeLoach explained, all checked out okay for Bennett on this visit: "Bennett's heart check-up was uneventful which is exactly what you pray for. 'Heart holding strong. No intervention needed yet.' Any mama who has been in a health crisis with their child prays for the 'uneventful.' And we could not be more blessed and grateful."
Plenty of well wishes poured in for DeLoach and her son, including from fellow Hallmark stars.
Ashley Williams said, "You blow me away. ❤️❤️," and actor Cameron Mathison added heart emojis as well.
Fans also sent kind words to DeLoach, with one saying, "Amazing ❤️ As someone who has gone through heart surgeries myself, this hits home. Always grateful after every check up to hear my doctor say all is well. Blessings to you all!"Another added, "Warrior Bennett, Warrior Mama, Warriors of CHLA!!! They are needed, and they press on toward the miracles. Thank you for being strong and for soldiering on. We need the miracles of you all every day."
It's so wonderful to hear that Bennett got a good report, and we can only imagined how relieved DeLoach must be. She's an incredible mom of an incredible kid!

They were literally everyone's favourite celebrity couple so it was beyond surprising and devastating for fans when the pair split in 2019. At the time a reason wasn't given for the split, but three years later, while appearing on Louis Theroux's podcast, Stormzy opened up about the breakup, calling it the "biggest mistake". He told Theroux: "My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man. It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you. "That's probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn't it? Away from someone passing away, that's the biggest loss you can have." A few months later Maya also opened about their relationship, reflecting in an interview with The Sunday Times, how young they were when they got together. "We were so young when we met, just beginning our careers. I was starting at MTV. He'd not even released a single at that point. We were just little babies. "I'm not naive to the fact that when you are a woman in the industry, most of the things that people want to talk about are your relationships. It's different for men. I'd seen that happen to other people. I don't think either of us knew it was going to be such a big thing." A year after her breakup from Stormzy, Maya was spotted out and about with NBA player Ben Simmons. They began dating in the summer of 2021 and were pictured attending Wimbledon together. At one point in their relationship Maya moved over to the US to be with Ben, and the couple got engaged over Christmas 2021. However, with both their careers in full swing they struggled to see each other and the long distance was said to create an issue and so the couple broke off their engagement in September 2022. Maya was spotted at one of Ruben's football matches in March and a month later their relationship was all but confirmed when they were spotted kissing while attending KSI's Baller League football event at Copper Box Arena. And then earlier this week Maya made their relationship Instagram official when she shared a video of Ruben putting suncream on himself, while on board a yacht and captioned it "perv cam". Yesterday [29 May] she also shared a number of pictures from what appears to be the couple's trip around Italy, including one photo of the pair together on a yacht. And Ruben has also not been shy about declaring the couple's love on social media. ‘The Wire' actor says his son was ‘thrown 300 feet' during Henry County tornado
An 18-year-old remains in the intensive care unit after a tornado destroyed his family's home in Henry County. The family identified him as Malachi Chaney. He told Channel 2 Action News on Friday morning that Malachi has several broken ribs and a fractured bone in his face. "I wish it was me that was in ICU rather than him. I don't want him experiencing no pain," Tray Chaney wrote in an emailed statement. Chaney also posted a video on his Instagram page detailing the harrowing experience. 'My son was thrown 300 feet out of his room,' he said. The National Weather Service will have survey teams out in Henry County on Friday. The NWS told Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Ashley Kramlich that it appears the tornado occurred less than half a mile from the path of an EF-0 tornado in April of this year. Judge Reportedly Claims 'Teen Mom 2' Alum Will Eventually 'Kill Someone' originally appeared on Parade. Teen Mom 2 alum Nathan Griffith will serve up to four years in prison after allegedly strangling his ex-girlfriend, a violent act that violated his probation — which he was on for allegedly strangling his sister years earlier. Jenelle Evans' ex — with whom she shares 10-year-old son Kaiser — will serve a "maximum of 48 [months] with a minimum parole eligibility of 14 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections," according to the sentence filing obtained by The Sun on Thursday, May 29. Griffith reportedly received 11 days already served. According to an eyewitness in court, the judge told Griffith: "You are a danger to others and you're going to kill someone.'" Griffith allegedly sobbed as the sentence was handed down. Per multiple outlets, the former Marine pleaded guilty to the felony charge of "Battery Constituting Domestic Violence- Strangulation" in the alleged April assault of Biddle, 21. Per The Sun, Biddle was in court at Griffith's sentencing, as was his estranged, but still legal, wife, May Oyola — who recently shared an Instagram photo of a large bouquet of flowers from Griffith, signed "Your Husband." Griffith's sister, who accused him of strangling her in 2023, was also in court. Though Evans was not present in the courtroom, she caught major heat from Teen Mom fans after defending Griffith on TikTok following the altercation with Biddle. At the time, she claimed that Griffith and Biddle were both at fault, and offered her ex stay at her house — specifically, in Kaiser's room. (Evans previously claimed that Griffith hadn't seen his son in two years.) Evans' estranged husband, David Eason, has his own strangulation charge against him. He was charged with felony 'Assault by Strangulation" after allegedly strangling Evans' 15-year-old son Jace. Eason has denied the claims. In addition to Jace and Nathan, Evans is also mom to 8-year-old daughter Ensley, whom she shares with Eason.
