I lost six stone on Mounjaro after gorging on entire pizzas and drinking five cans of Coca-Cola a day - but trolls are calling me 'lazy' for not shedding the weight naturally

Daily Mail16-07-2025
A father who lost six stone in 11 months after taking Mounjaro has been criticised by trolls who say he is 'lazy' and 'taking the easy way out'.
George Keywood, from London, became pre-diabetic and was struggling to walk upstairs when he began taking the weight loss drug last year.
Before turning to Mounjaro, the 31-year-old was stuck in a rut, drinking up to five cans of Coca-Cola a day and often eating a full pizza and garlic bread in the evenings.
But in August last year, he started taking the medication from a private online pharmacy that offered it to him for free, and he has since lost up to two pounds a week.
Now, six stone down, George's sugar cravings have gone and he now only eats one main meal a day, often skipping breakfast entirely.
He said his food shop has seen 'less overspending on junk food' thanks to his lack of appetite and he no longer splashes out as much on taxis, as losing weight means he is able to walk longer distances again.
But the actor and content creator has received negativity online from critics who say he is 'cheating' by taking the medication.
George says 'people love to judge' his situation, after he was also lambasted online when he was heavier, with social media users saying he was 'mismatched' with his slim wife Sienna.
The pair met after Sienna, 30, spotted George playing the character Craig on the TV show 'People Just Do Nothing', which ran on BBC Three from 2014 to 2018.
She fully supports George's weight loss as it has allowed him to be more active and play with their five-year-old son Oliver, whereas before she was often 'having to do everything' herself.
George said: 'There's still a lot of negativity [online] with people saying I'm taking the easy way out or cheating, or, "Oh just go to the gym and be a real man".
'You can't win. There's always a reason for people to want to hate. I'm doing this for me, not them.
'There's been a lot of support too. I did a post on Facebook recently and all the comments were positive.
'For me, if I were to lose another 40kg, I feel like we'd be at normal levels at that point.
'I've been on it for nine months so if I can do another nine months and do the same again, I'll have overachieved.
'For me the maximum I want to be on it is two years. I think these changes can last longer than people think they can.
George says that he wants to live until 70 or 80-years-old and see his son grow up, adding: 'You don't see fat people in the care homes.'
Despite being overweight his 'whole life', the influencer says that it has never set him back or caused him any 'significant issues'.
'I guess I'm luckier in some respects that I never got bullied for being big,' he added.
Prior to shedding the pounds, George would start every morning with scrambled eggs on toast with cheese, drinking a litre of milk on the side.
After snacking on crisps and chocolate, he would eat a 'massive' sandwich for lunch, followed by more crisps and cola.
Dinner would consist of a whole pizza and garlic bread, with another Coca-Cola to wash it all down.
Each can of full sugar cola has a whopping 35g of sugar in it - and George would drink up five cans a day. The NHS says that adults should consume no more than 30g of free sugars daily, and George was drinking 175g of sugar from his soft drinks alone.
He began taking a 2.5mg dose of Mounjaro in August 2024 and has worked his way up to the 12.5mg dose he takes now.
'My feet used to be so swollen I couldn't wear shoes, and now they're completely uninflamed and completely fine now.
'I was feeling rough with my pre-diabetes and struggling to walk upstairs too far. I thought, "it's probably too much at this point".
'For about five out of the seven days you don't think about food. It doesn't make you unable to stomach food but it turns off the desire to want to have meals or overindulge.
'Which is great because that's what I used to do. I was drinking four to five cans of full fat Coca-Cola a day, and now I'm on one a week.
'The desire for sweets has completely gone. These days I can just about stomach one meal a day.'
The father-of-one says he would eat a large BBQ chicken pizza to himself and then also have a tub of ice-cream afterwards.
Sienna fully supports George's weight loss as it has allowed him to be more active and play with their five-year-old son Oliver, whereas before she was often 'having to do everything' herself
'With Mounjaro, I tried to eat a pizza one day and threw up half an hour after,' he said.
His wife has also seen a 'huge difference' in George following his weight loss. 'I barely ever see him eating to be honest,' Sienna said.
'On holidays, the difference I noticed is he can walk all day.
'Before, we'd go on holidays and I'd be dreading it, thinking we'd have to catch an Uber everywhere.
'Now it's like it used to be when we first met, he can walk around all day. He's just been happier.
'With our son, I felt like I had to do pretty much everything because we couldn't do very many active things.'
Sienna recalled a time before George lost weight. She was carrying their son around Peppa Pig world on their own, with her husband 'traipsing along behind us, hating every minute'.
She added: 'Now it feels like he does a lot more. He can take Oliver for days out. It's like the tables have turned.
'He's just really motivated and I'm really proud of him. He's made the decision to do this for his health and it's really benefited me and my son.'

Mark Labbett feared he would 'die a bachelor' before finding fame on The Chase and then marrying his second cousin Katie

Mark Labbett feared he would 'die a bachelor' because women were not interested in him before he found fame on The Chase. The 59-year-old TV personality was a single man 'for over 20 years' before he joined the ITV quiz show as The Beast in 2009, and then he went on to be in a several serious relationships. This included his second cousin Katie Labbett, 32, who he met on Facebook in 2010, began to date in 2012 and then married in 2014. They welcomed their seven-year-old son Lawrence in 2018, but Katie and Mark split in 2020. Following The Beast's separation from Katie, Mark dated TV presenter Hayley Palmer, 44, in 2023. However, in May 2024, he dumped Hayley days after their first dating anniversary in a 'three-minute' phone call. Now, Mark is taking part in the E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating. He hopes to find his perfect match, with the help of the programme's dating agents, Paul Carrick Brunson, 50, Anna Williamson, 44, and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, 36. Mark exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the Celebs Go Dating launch party event at The Broadcaster gastropub in White City, West London, on July 24: 'It's getting to the point now with the joy of social media, a photo of me with a woman suddenly it's a new date. 'With this girl, I said, 'Sorry about this, I did warn you if you put up that photo.' 'And I tend to think, 'Where was all this speculation 20, 25 years ago?' 'I was a single man for over 20 years. I genuinely thought at one point before The Chase came along, 'Am I going to die a bachelor?' 'Suddenly, I'm in a relationship, which is why this has been good because you listen to experts, so finding out advice from them.' In 2020, Katie - who had been dating senior design engineer Scott Bate for 18 months at the time - and Mark split because their attempts at an open marriage failed. The Beast also blamed other factors, including their 27-year age gap, the Covid-19 lockdown and his own mental health, for their eventual split. In 2024, Hayley and Mark separated - with Hayley claiming at the time he dumped her because he 'didn't want to divorce his ex-wife', but Mark later told The Sun newspaper their separation was because he 'got old'. However, Mark - who had a 15-year age gap with Hayley - insisted to BANG Showbiz he does not have a 'bad word' to say about Katie or Hayley. Asked if he thinks it is now better to share a similar age with someone, as opposed to having a big age gap like he did with Katie and Hayley, Mark said: 'What I would say is age is really important to some people and completely unimportant to others. 'And, ultimately, I think it's down to the individual relationship. 'I've dated women who are older than me, and I've got no problems with it.' Celebs Go Dating 2025 starts on Monday, August 11, at 9pm on E4.

Awkward moment Love Islander's smile drops after Maya Jama makes on air joke about her

A LOVE Island star's smile dropped following Maya Jama's on-air joke about her - in an awkward moment. Many former Islanders from this year's series made return appearances for the ITV2 show's final. 4 4 4 This included Malisha Jordan, who was eliminated early on this summer. During her brief time in the villa, she clashed with Meg over getting to know Dejon. Maya caught up with axed stars including Meg and Dejon, who were dumped right before the final. When the topic of a group trip came up, the host asked: "Why didn't I get an invite? Where are we going?" Meg replied: "You can come", before turning around and asking: "Where are we going, Malisha?" At this point, Maya then said: "Oh my God, I won't be attending." Malisha had been smiling, although this dropped after the presenter's quip. The bombshell arrived on Day 5, alongside Yasmin Pettet and Emily Moran. Unfortunately, Malisha - along with Toni - found themselves at risk of being dumped on Day 8. It meant that new bombshell Harrison had the decision of who would stay. He dated both girls, but chose Toni, meaning Malisha was therefore dumped as a result. Following her exit, the teaching assistant took savage digs at her co-stars when appearing on spin-off Aftersun. During a spicy segment, Malisha was asked by an audience member to give one-word verdicts on her fellow Islanders. When it came to Shea, she didn't mince words, saying chatting to him was like 'talking to a brick wall.'
