Next year, passengers will be able to fly directly from East Midlands to Antalya with SunExpress.
The flights will take off three times a week in 2026.
Currently the only other airline offering direct flights between the two destinations is Jet2.
Antalya welcomes more than one million Brits annually, making it the country's top holiday destination.
The resort city and ancient port offers culture, history, food and endless opportunities for leisure and relaxation.
There's lots to do from venturing to The Land of Legends Theme Park, sunbathing on the beach, to exploring the blue waters on the famous Turquoise Coast.
The airline is also launching two weekly flights from Cork to Antalya next year.
Other routes with SunExpress are from London Gatwick and Manchester airports to Bodrum which will operate twice a week.
When one Sun Writer ventured to Bodrum and after spending time in the Turkish town, she dubbed it the "St Tropez of Turkey".
She noted that it was much more affordable than other spots in the Mediterranean like Ibiza, Mykonos and Marbella - Bodrum had a similar feel, all the while being much more affordable.

The airline is adding two flights a week from and Dublin to Dalaman too.
Dalaman is on the west coast of Turkey and has plenty of golden beaches and hot summer weather.
There's lots of Efes lager, which another Sun Writer found on draught in local bars.
There are lots of popular beaches like Iztuzu where you can enjoy mud baths and explore the hot springs.

Others have blue lagoons, water sports and of course all are great spots for swimming.
Boat trips are the perfect way to discover hidden coves, and jeep safaris are the best way to explore the landscape.
One writer who headed to the Dalaman coast with her family even saw turtles, braved some banana boats and of course, tried out the mud baths.
Tobias Bracht, Head of Sales for SunExpress, said: 'We are delighted to be expanding our UK and Ireland network with the launching of services from East Midlands Airport.
"With direct flights to Türkiye from 14 airports next summer, we will be offering more choice, convenience and value than ever before, reinforcing our commitment to being the leading leisure carrier from the UK and Ireland to Türkiye.'
Last year, SunExpress announced a new route between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Antalya.

Enough of the Bognor bashing – I think the seaside town is one of the UK's best

And the new Butlin's attractions and Premier Inn coming to town BOG OFF Enough of the Bognor bashing – I think the seaside town is one of the UK's best Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) BASKING in the sunshine on Bognor's pebbly beach, watching my boys skim stones into the sea, I found myself wondering if there could be a more picture-perfect snapshot of a trip to the British seaside. I've been visiting this south coast resort since I was tiny and now my boys love heading to the Sussex seaside just as much as I do. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 6 I love Bognor Regis - and am sick of all the hating on it Credit: Alamy 6 I've been visiting Bognor since I was a kid 6 Its now a place I take all my kids on holiday So I couldn't believe my eyes when Bognor was named the worst seaside town in this year's Which? survey, with some visitors branding it dirty and rundown. It only scored 36 per cent overall, with visitors rating its beach two stars out of five. Its seafront, food and drink, tourist attractions, scenery, shopping, parking, peace and quiet and value for money only received one star each. Despite this depressing result, it's nonsense to suggest that Bognor is bottom of British beach breaks, as far as I'm concerned. There's a reason why it's been a family favourite for generations and why British holiday institution Butlin's has had a presence in the town for almost a century, despite closing lots of other locations around the country. For a start, the Met Office records show that Bognor averages around 1900 hours of sunshine a year, making it a good choice if you want to turn your great British staycay into a raycay. Maybe the shingle shoreline isn't everyone's cup of tea, but paddling on pebbles does mean you're not finding sand in all your nooks and crannies for weeks after your trip to the coast. We usually stay at Butlin's and it's just a short walk along the prom to get to the town, passing the pier and the greenery of Waterloo Square before heading further on to Marine Park Gardens. Or you can catch the little land train that ferries visitors along the shoreline, costing £1.50 for adults and £1 for children. We like to stroll along, admiring the seaside architecture glinting white in the sunlight as we go. I tried the new Gladiators event at Butlin's with some of the TV stars… and my kids were obsessed And there's the Play on the Beach playground for little visitors on this stretch of the esplanade too. Another highlight of any trip to Bognor is a visit to Hotham Park, where I remember taking a trip on the miniature railway as a child. It's still a lovely place to visit and now my boys can take a turn around the tracks while I get nostalgic about childhood summers and fun in the sun. For me, I love going back to the town to see what has stayed the same and what is new and exciting. I can't wait for the £15million transformation of the Alexandra Theatre when it is unveiled next year. And there's a new £13million Premier Inn due to open nearby later this year. Butlin's has also had plenty of investment in recent times, with a £40million pool opening in 2019 and the £15million Playxperience offering digital versions of family favourites like darts and crazy golf. 6 It has so many exciting new investments 6 A new Playxperience attraction opened at Butlin's Bognor Regis Credit: Butlin's Even better, you can just pop in for the day if you're staying elsewhere in Bognor, with day passes from as little as £1 for children during term-time. With all this money being spent on accommodation and attractions, it would be a mistake to write off this seaside spot as not worth a visit when it feels like it's on the up and being brought bang into the 21st century with all these new openings. Every year, when Which? releases the results from surveying its 4000 members on seaside trips they've taken the previous summer, I shake my head with a wry smile at whichever much-loved traditional seaside resort has ended up being named and shamed this time. It's been Skegness, Clacton, Mablethorpe and Bangor in recent years, but none of those deserved to be bottom either. You can't really compare a resort that focuses on family fun and lots of laughs, with arcades, pubs, chippies and ice cream stalls aplenty, with somewhere like Bamburgh in Northumberland, which consistently comes top of the list. Its amazing castle and unspoilt beach are definitely a winning combination, but you can't beat the bustle of Bognor or Bangor for offering budget-friendly best-of-British breaks with something to keep all ages happy. It's almost 100 years since King George V visited Bognor to convalesce and gave it the royal seal of approval by allowing the town to add Regis to its name. As far as I'm concerned, it's still a jewel in the crown of the South Coast, sparkling in the sunlight for all to see. It should be basking in its title of sunniest seaside spot, instead of being bashed for its beach or buildings.

The 'superb in every way' Welsh village that's just been named best seaside destination in UK

The 'superb in every way' Welsh village that's just been named best seaside destination in UK New research has revealed where Brits love the most - and Wales has come out on top. A 'superb in every way' Welsh village has been named a 'best' coastal destination A gorgeous seaside village in Wales that's famous for it's Italian-inspired architecture has recently been named one of the "best coastal destination" in the UK. Portmeirion, Gwynedd, is unlike anywhere else in the UK, known for its colourful architecture, made famous by cult TV favourite The Prisoner. Inspired by Portofino's multicoloured façades, Portmeirion is a uniquely constructed tourist village that offers a slice of Italy on the bracing Welsh coast. You can stay overnight in a 'village room' or in one of two luxury 4-star hotels. ‌ Alongside its unique architectural heritage, the private, ticketed site features two swanky hotels, self-catering cottages, an indulgent spa, gift shops, cafés, restaurants and an authentic Italian-style gelateria. ‌ And in a new survey by consumer watchdog Which? it has been named the third "best coastal destination" in all of the UK. The survey asked more than 3,800 people in the UK what their favourite spots are and why — and Portmerion came out with an overall destination score of 79%. Scoring five stars for its scenery and seafront, one visitor said: 'The place is superb in every way. It's a beautiful setting with wonderful food and accommodation — perfect for a special occasion.' The picturesque village of Portmeirion Article continues below Visitors to the village can spend their time exploring popular spots like Clifftop and Chantry Row that both offer jaw-dropping views out over the estuary. The village also features two main paths leading into Y Gwyllt woodlands for those who want to get out and explore some more nature than just the beautiful pastel buildings in the village. Portmeirion rises like a painted mirage, with pastel-coloured buildings and whimsical towers that seem plucked from a fairytale built among clusters of lush and green trees which frame the view while the estuary beyond glitters under the changing light of the Welsh sky. Tenby is a seaside town in the county of Pembrokeshire, Wales. ‌ Wales, famous worldwide for its coastal beauty, also had two other spots that made the list's top 10: St David's and Tenby, both in Pembrokeshire. St David's is the UK's smallest city but, despite being little, it's got plenty to offer visitors. One visitor praised St David's for its 'excellent facilities, lovely seafront, nice walks and excellent hotels.' St Davids also has a gorgeous cathedral to explore - it's one of the oldest in the UK and survived the plunder of the Norsemen in the Dark Ages. Tenby also made the list with an overall score of 78 percent. This stunning village is known in Welsh as Dinbych-y-Pysgod, meaning 'Little Fortress of Fish'. Article continues below It's nestled on the Pembrokeshire coast and is surrounded by medieval stone walls built to protect it during the Norman period. Like Portmeirion, Tenby also has some very cute pastel coloured buildings, as well as a charming harbour and a beautiful beach. Visitors can spend their time exploring its winding cobbled streets full of hisotry and charm before heading to Cast;e Beahc for a dip if the weather allows — you can read more on Tenby here. Only two places in the UK came higher in the list than Portmeirion: Bamburgh in Northumberland and Beer in Devon.
