Four men in court over "firebombing" at Mark Richardson's pal's house and Glasgow taxi firm
They appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Four men have appeared in court charged in connection with alleged gangland firebombings across Edinburgh and Lanarkshire.
Robert Thomson, 18, Kieran Abercrombie, 31, Tyler Ramage, 18, and Kenzie Gardner, 18, were arrested by cops executing warrants in early morning raids on Friday, May 23, at addresses in Edinburgh, Whitburn and Bathgate.
They appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday facing a number of various charges.
Thomson, from Whitburn, appeared charged with three counts of wilful fireraising and a firearms offence. He made no plea and was granted bail to appear again at a later date.
Abercrombie, from Whitburn, also made no plea after being charged with three counts of wilful fireraising. He was remanded in custody to appear again within eight days.
Ramage, of no fixed abode, was charged with two counts of wilful fireraising. He made no plea and was granted bail to appear again at a later date.
Gardner, from Bathgate, was charged with with three counts of wilful fireraising. He made no plea and was granted bail to appear again at a later date.
We told how the home of David McMillan Snr, a close pal of mob boss Mark Richardson, on Pitcairn Grove was allegedly "firebombed" on Thursday, May 8.
McMillan Snr's home was previously targeted on April 17, when masked thugs set the front door of his property on fire while children slept inside. And on Thursday May 22 another incident occurred when a "machete attack" left the 54-year-old in hospital with serious injuries.
Police said they are treating the incident as attempted murder and hunting a gang of masked men who were seen fleeing the area.
One of the 18-year-olds and Abercrombie were also charged in connection with fire-raising at Deuce Private Hire on Cumbernauld Road in Stepps on May 8, 2025.
The business is understood to be linked to the Daniels crime clan.
Pictures from the scene showed officers standing guard and police tape around the unit where the main front office window was boarded up.
Another image showed CID officers examining the scene with one officer pictured wearing blue forensic gloves.
In the past week a 21-year-old man appeared in court after the homes of Steven Bonzo Daniel and his uncle Norman Daniel were allegedly "firebombed" in Bishopbriggs.
He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Cour t charged with two attempted murders and a fire-raising in Glasgow last month.
Police say they have arrested 41 people in connection with a series of linked incidents across the country.

Cops have committed to coming down hard on those involved in the violence in an investigation known as Operation Portaledge, with dawn raids on multiple properties.

He had put his arm into the pool's suction hole, which was not covered. The vacuum effect from the hole trapped him up to his elbow, forcing staff at the Hotel Zafiro in Can Picafort, a resort in the north of the island, to call in the emergency services. The Mirror reports paramedics arrived first at the scene but were unable to free the boy, forcing firefighters to drain the pool and then use a pneumatic drill to reach a pipe leading to the hole. The boy was given a helmet and ear protectors as they drilled down, before they eventually cut it off at the source around 30 minutes later and freed the boy. Photographs from the scene show the boy in an orange cap waiting patiently as emergency workers attempt to get him out. Police and members of the Spanish Guardia Civil were also at the scene. The boy was taken to a local clinic but thankfully did not sustain any serious injuries. An investigation into potential negligence by hotel management is now underway, local reports said. It comes after hundreds of British holidaymakers were left stranded abroad after they were hit by a series of flight cancellations due to severe weather. Some of those affected were families set to fly back to the UK from Majorca this week after jetting off to Spain for the half-term holidays - but have been hampered by delays caused by air traffic control restrictions. Greg Monks, 38, vanished after becoming separated from his friends during the first evening of their trip. He was last seen on CCTV in the residential area of Cerro de Aguia, roughly four miles away from the main club and bar strip of Albufeira, on Tuesday night where he had been enjoying the night with his mates. His last known whereabouts were between Tuesday evening, May 27, and the early hours of Wednesday morning, May 28. His sister, Jillian Monk, has now urged residents in the Cerro de Aguia area to review any footage from their private cameras and ring doorbells. The worried sister posted on a Facebook page for expats and holidaymakers asking if anyone living nearby could assist in the search for her brother, reports the Daily Record. In a further post today she asked for help contacting local Portuguese radio stations to get the word out to local taxi drivers. Article continues below Jillian also wrote: "I am now seeking help from residents of the Cerro de Aguia area to please check any home cameras or doorbell footage around 2am and 5am as police believe he was in the area around this time!". The stag party was scheduled to return last Saturday after arriving on Tuesday to celebrate in the popular sun-soaked destination. Jillian first sounded the alarm that Greg had gone missing in a frantic social media post on Thursday. She said: "My brother has not been seen since Tuesday evening. If you are currently there and have any information place contact me with any info." Greg's father has allegedly cut short a holiday in Spain to cross the border and look for his son. A fundraiser has also been set up to help raise money for the family who have flown out to help the search. Gillian McCallum, set up a fundraiser on behalf of the distraught family, said: "Our son Greg Monks went to Portugal for a stag do on Tuesday May 27 and on the first night back out there he never returned to his hotel and has now been missing for three days. We are desperately seeking Greg's safe return and need your help." Over £20,000 has been raised to fund the search efforts. A statement from the family said: "There are professional search teams out looking for Greg and the family have all flown out to try to help find him but don't know how long their stay will be."
