'I have a problem,' Gabrielle Union confesses to ELLE, 'I'm an online shopper.' And now that she can speedily browse Saks on Amazon, she admits, it could become an even bigger problem. 'Probably more for my accountant than anyone else.'
The award-winning actress and founder of the hair care brand Flawless spoke candidly before an al fresco dinner at Swifty's at the Hedges Inn in East Hampton. For the first time since the announcement of the momentous partnership, Saks on Amazon gathered fashion insiders and socialites together to celebrate. In addition to the bites and cocktails, the evening was filled with stunning outfits, especially from Naomi Watts, Union, and her husband, Dwyane Wade.
The couple is clearly enjoying the convenience of Saks's curated edit now available via Amazon. 'I didn't enjoy shopping until now,' Wade confessed. 'When it's too much in the store, you lose me. But when it's curated for me? It's easy to enjoy the process.'
Union agrees: 'You get all the perks of Prime's fast shipping with Saks's variety and luxury. It's pretty awesome.'
The two also opened up about their coordinating style. 'We get dressed on opposite sides of the room and somehow come out matching, but it's never planned,' Union says. Wade added, 'When you're by yourself, you can wear whatever you want. But when you're together, she needs to shine. And I'm just there to complement her.'
As for what's on their wish lists for the upcoming season? 'These dang [Stella McCartney] Ryder bags have me in a chokehold,' Union laughed, rattling off suede, snakeskin, and black variations that are already in her cart. She also shouted out designer Johanna Ortiz for her silk maxi dresses. 'They make you feel sexy, but also let you eat. They're forgiving, but still fly—like you walk in the room, and it's 'hello.''
Wade, meanwhile, is leaning into what he calls 'quiet comfort' for fall. 'I'm looking for versatile pieces that transition well. Fear of God is one of those brands that gets it.'
And when it comes to gift-giving, the couple has their roles down. 'I'm great if you're ballin' on a budget,' Union joked. Wade, on the other hand, claims range. 'I play in both fields: high fashion and accessible elegance. And I listen. That's the key to good gifts.'
Whether you're shopping for date night or planning your own fall wardrobe, Union and Wade have you covered. And, yes, we took notes. Shop their favorite Saks on Amazon picks below.

'Harlan Coben's best yet': Lazarus is the 'gripping psychological horror' series full of eerie twists

ICYMI: novelist Harlan Coben has been behind some of the biggest thriller shows of recent years, with his books being adapted into hits like Missing You, Fool Me Once and the forthcoming I Will Find You. He also has an amazing new project in the works which is said to debut in autumn 2025. While the author's novels have been repeatedly adapted for television, this time, he's written a show directly for the small screen. "I thought, 'I could write this as a novel, but I'm seeing it as a TV series'. It's a little more of a ghost story, very visual," Coben told Radio Times. Intrigued? We thought so. Here's what you need to know. Lazarus was announced in February 2024, with Variety reporting that Amazon had ordered a limited series written by Coben and screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst, from the Fool Me Once team. Coben is under a deal at Netflix that covers a number of his novels, but as this project with Amazon is original material, it doesn't appear to fall under the scope of that deal. The official synopsis of the thriller reveals: "Lazarus follows a man who returns home after his father's death and begins to have disturbing experiences that can't be explained. "He quickly becomes entangled in a series of cold-case murders as he grapples with the mystery of his father's death and his sister's murder 25 years ago..." Intrigued? We thought so! The cast of Lazarus is already looking seriously juicy, with Bill Nighy and Peaky Blinders' Sam Claflin attached. The series is due to be released in the autumn of 2025, but an official date has yet to be released.

You'll save a ton of money on appointments, plus won't have to subject your hair to additional bleaches and dye that will (I'm sorry to tell you this) cause additional damage. Use this only once a week (for about three minutes at a time) to prevent your hair from turning a slightly lavender shade. Promising review: "Finally! A purple shampoo that actually does something to my brassy hair! I have silver-white hair that is exceptionally hard to maintain due to how easily my hair gains brassy tones and how stubborn they are to remove. I've tried a ton of other brands, and none of their toning shampoos will do a damn thing to my hair even if I leave them on for an hour. I normally have to dilute violet direct dyes to make a dent in my brass. It's nice to not have to schedule a chunk of time to mix a batch of custom toner, painstakingly apply it, and then sit around for an hour while it does its stuff. This shampoo actually works really well and can cut a lot of time out of my bi-weekly color maintenance." —AudreyGet it from Amazon for $17.24. Lovense's Gemini Sex Toy Offers a Fresh Sensation in the Bedroom—No AI Needed

I've never had particularly sensitive nipples—except for the first time I went to a clothing-optional beach and failed to use enough sunblock—so I was excited to give the Lovense Gemini a try. No, it has nothing to do with Google's AI chatbot. These are vibrating nipple clamps from Lovense, and I've had great experience with many of the company's sex toys. Many of my partners have had sensitive nipples, so I was curious if I could join the ranks with the Gemini. Usually sold for less than $80, they're an inexpensive way to spice up the bedroom. Great for Enthusiasts and Beginners Courtesy of Amazon After I fully charged the Gemini, which takes about an hour or so, I used it on myself. What I love is that I can clip the base of the clamps to my bra (there's also a cord you can put around your neck if you don't wear a bra), making them 100 percent hands-free. The Gemini is app-controlled (Android, iOS), so I can lie back and play with the slew of intensities and patterns—surprisingly fun even though I was solo. When I added a bullet vibrator to the mix, the vibrations all over made everything even more exciting in a low-key, kinky sort of way. I also appreciate that the clamps are adjustable, so if you love a tight squeeze, a barely there hold, or somewhere in between, you have options. Unlike some of the more intimate toys I've reviewed, like the Luxus Couples Vibrator or the Lelo Ora 3, I was able to get input from a handful of people with the Gemini. Especially people I know who really (like, really ) love nipple play. As much as I enjoyed the vibrations and found the sensation interesting, the Gemini made me realize that, ultimately, I prefer that my nipples get attention from a partner's tongue or with a slight graze of their teeth. Of the three nipple-play aficionados I used the Gemini with—one straight and two gay men—all of them became immediate fans of the toy. They liked the hands-free design and the simplicity of the Lovense Remote app. To paint a picture of this experiment, I had the app in hand, and three men sat on the couch across from me, waiting for their turn to try the Gemini. (It's the closest I'll probably ever get to an orgy.) Each man had a different preference in intensity and patterns, as well as the tightness of the clamps, so I was able to see just how much the Gemini can be the perfect fit for anyone who's into nipple play. Easy to Use The Gemini is well-built, too. Not only is it waterproof—for all those times you're craving a proper buzz on your nips while in the shower—but you also get a whopping two hours of run time when it's fully charged. The device is discreet, in case you're into public play where one partner enjoys the vibrations, while the other controls what they want you to feel.
