Gerbou's pop-up in Abu Dhabi takes place outdoors at Manarat Al Saadiyat. The pop-up menu includes some of the restaurant's greatest hits, including signature items such as the Karak and Biscuits Gelato. Plus, it boasts a pretty set-up with a canopy decorated with a rabeea bird and ghaf trees.
The team shared a video on Instagram of the chefs in the kitchen. The caption read: 'This stunning setup is setting the stage at our mystery location, offering not just a taste of Gerbou's design but also an exclusive preview of our menu. From appetizers to mains and desserts, each dish is a flavourful nod to the region's rich heritage and comforting nostalgia for those who call it home.'

The pop-up acts as a taster ahead of Gerbou's Dubai debut. The restaurant is a collaboration between Atelier House Hospitality and Tashkeel and will open soon in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. The designers have transformed the historical building, and preserved the Islamic features to create a grand setting for the restaurant.
If Atelier House Hospitality's previous restaurants are anything to go by, Gerbou looks set to be a success. The team is behind Dubai hospitality hits 11 Woodfire, Mohalla, RSVP, and Morini in Riyah. The firm is also behind several soon-to-open concepts on Sindalah Island in Neom. These include Saudi restaurant AILYN, Enrico Bartolini at Sindalah Yacht Club, and Carosello from celebrated chef Carlo Cracco.

On-Road Mobile Stations Support Hajj Pilgrims During Bus Breakdowns
Saudi Arabia's Roads General Authority has introduced mobile service pods along the Hijrah Expressway that connects Makkah and Madinah. These stations are intended to assist pilgrims whose buses experience mechanical issues en route. For many pilgrims, the journey between Mecca and Madinah is spiritual and physically demanding. Unexpected bus breakdowns can add to the challenges, leaving pilgrims stranded under the scorching sun. Inaugurated by Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser, these mobile units are strategically located along the Hijrah Expressway to support distressed pilgrims. In addition to providing physical assistance, they create a feeling of safety and compassion, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to the well-being of each pilgrim. Each mobile unit can host 40 pilgrims and features air conditioning, seating, restrooms, and facilities for serving cold drinks and meals. Functioning 24/7 during the Hajj season, these stations are designed to offer prompt relief and comfort to pilgrims in need. This initiative is part of a larger effort by Saudi authorities to guarantee the safety and well-being of all pilgrims.

Create Production brings Vox Cinemas' sonic identity to life with Hans Zimmer
Create Production has joined forces with Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment to unveil Fall in Love with Film, Vox Cinemas' latest brand film that signals a new chapter for the region's premier cinema operator. The cinematic tribute, released in celebration of Vox Cinemas' 25th anniversary, is underscored by an original score and sonic identity created by legendary composer Hans Zimmer. The emotionally rich film is a love letter to the power of cinema, weaving together themes of love, community, and escapism. At its heart is the story of a young boy growing up with the cinema as his lifelong companion. The narrative is brought to life by Zimmer's evocative score, blending Hollywood-style orchestration with 90s nostalgia and Arabic musical elements. As part of Vox's broader 'experience-first' strategy to reconnect with audiences, Create Production oversaw the entire creative process, from script development to full-scale production across eight regional markets. The campaign produced more than 85 assets in a variety of languages, formats, and platforms, ranging from IMAX screens to social media reels. Create also led localisation efforts across four languages and dialects, ensuring cultural resonance throughout the region. Muhammad Ashraf, Senior Producer at Create Production, said: 'Working alongside the Vox Cinemas team to develop a film worthy of Hans Zimmer's signature sound was a true privilege. We set out to craft a narrative that celebrates Vox's magic and elevates the region's sonic identity.' The brand film is currently screening in Vox Cinemas across the Middle East, with additional distribution on digital platforms, social media, and out-of-home advertising. The custom sonic branding developed for the campaign will continue to roll out throughout 2025, becoming an integral part of the Vox experience—from cinema lobbies to customer service interactions. This project adds to Create Production's portfolio of landmark regional campaigns, continuing its track record of high-profile collaborations, including previous work with Zimmer and large-scale productions across the Middle East.
