
A new Nothing Phone (3) leak gives away pricing and a possible new product
A recent leak has provided new details about Nothing's upcoming flagship, the Phone (3), including pricing and an unexpected hint about a new product called Headphone (1). This update arrives shortly after hints emerged suggesting Nothing may phase out its signature Glyph interface, raising questions about the brand's future design approach.According to information shared via Bluestky, the Nothing Phone (3) will be available in two colors: white and black. The device will offer two configurations, one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and a higher-end option with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This positions the Phone (3) among premium-level smartphones, directly competing with models like Google's Pixel 9 Pro, Samsung's Galaxy S series, and high-end offerings from OnePlus.For context, Nothing's previous model, the Phone (2), launched at a slightly lower price. It earned praise for its unique design and solid performance but faced criticism for its limited availability and premium pricing that set high consumer expectations. Following the popularity of its earlier earbuds, Ear (1) and Ear (2), the company's move into over-ear headphones seems logical. The headphones will reportedly be available in black and white, priced around €300 or about $320 USD, positioning them within the premium audio segment dominated by established brands.These leaks arrive following the speculation that the Phone (3) may no longer feature the Glyph interface. Known for its distinctive LED lights on the back, this feature provides notification alerts and visual appeal. Removing it would mark a significant change in Nothing's design philosophy, possibly shifting the brand's focus toward software innovation or other design elements.
Regardless of what the company decides to do with the Glyph interface, I'm still curious to see what the Nothing Phone (3) will bring to the table. So far, Nothing has made of a name for itself by doing quite a bit with its unique approach to hardware and software. I am confident that the company will continue on that path and hopefully wow us all with the arrival of the Nothing Phone (3) .

It is also said to be announced during the Snapdragon Summit in September, alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for smartphones. ARM-powered laptops are becoming more and more popular. Their popularity started to rise when Apple decided to abandon the Intel x86 chips in favor of its own Apple Silicon, which is ARM-powered. Even before that though, Qualcomm has made ARM-powered processors for Microsoft Surface computers. But the Snapdragon X chips are the real deal by Qualcomm. Even though we still don't have an official launch date for Samsung's next big Android-powered foldables, the start of the company's buzz-building campaign certainly suggests the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE, Z Fold 7 , and possibly, Z Fold 7 Ultra are right around the corner. As such, it shouldn't come as a surprise that more and more tipsters feel confident in predicting more and more details about three of those fast-approaching devices... after their designs have already been leaked in trustworthy factory CAD-based renders and even a wild real-life photograph. Galaxy Z Fold 7 : 12GB RAM + 256GB storage; 12 + 512GB; 16GB + 1TB; : 12GB RAM + 256GB storage; 12 + 512GB; 16GB + 1TB; Galaxy Z Flip 7 : 8GB RAM + 128GB storage; 12 + 256GB; 12 + 512GB; : 8GB RAM + 128GB storage; 12 + 256GB; 12 + 512GB; Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage; 8 + 256GB. Arsène Lupin, aka @MysteryLupin, actually adds to the details leaked by WinFuture's Roland Quandt, thus providing a more complete picture of Samsung's 2025 foldable portfolio (minus the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, which may or may not be a real thing). The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to start with an underwhelming 8GB RAM count. The most important tidbit disclosed today that wasn't included in yesterday's report is how much RAM the Z Fold 7 , Z Flip 7 , and Z Flip 7 FE are set to pack in each storage configuration. Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will apparently be equipped with a hefty 16 gigs of memory in a top-of-the-line 1TB storage variant. That's especially notable because the most advanced (and the most expensive) Galaxy Z Fold 6 model only comes with 12GB RAM. Then again, Google's Pixel 9 Pro Fold offers a whopping 16 gigs of the good stuff in combination with as little as 256GB internal storage space, so clearly, Samsung can do even better than this if it wants to claim the best foldable trophy. The Z Flip 7 , meanwhile, is very curiously tipped to downgrade its predecessor's 12GB RAM to just 8 gigs for an entry-level 128GB storage variant while keeping the memory count of the Z Flip 6's two other configurations unchanged. That's likely to be a cost-cutting measure on Samsung's part, especially if the company aims to price the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the same starting level as last year's Z Flip 6 , but it remains to be seen if customers will understand and accept the compromise. Speaking of compromises, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is expected to stick to 8GB RAM in both 128 and 256GB storage variants, which is both completely unsurprising and totally fine... as long as Samsung gets the Fan Edition pricing right. The most exciting thing here is without a doubt the very swanky-sounding Coral Red-coated Z Fold 7 model, which should perfectly match the Coral Red Z Flip 7 flavor rumored yesterday. The first-of-a-kind Z Flip 7 FE could come in just two (rather boring) color options. Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly), the Z Flip 7 FE is unlikely to join its pricier sibling and cousin in adopting such a flashy hue, instead playing things safe with black and white colorways, at least based on existing information from two different and equally reliable insiders. Circling back to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 , it must be highlighted that its silver (shadow), blue (shadow), and (jet) black paint jobs are now also "confirmed" from two sources, unlike the aforementioned (coral) red color. Interestingly, the Z Flip 7 is rumored to come in a "White Black" version rather than separate white and black models, which could be an innocent typo... or a suggestion of a decidedly unconventional two-tone design that Samsung has experimented with in the past. The blue (shadow) colorway is practically etched in stone, and if history is any indication, many more paint jobs will be confirmed in the coming weeks (for both the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 ).

Apple could drop features like AirDrop in the EU
Apple was hit with a €500 million fine by the European Commission (EC) back in April over breaches to the Digital Markets Act (DMA). Cupertino has since appealed the decision. John Gruber from Daring Fireball shared Apple's full official statement, which could signal a potential turning point for Apple users in the EU. At Apple, we design our technology to work seamlessly together, so it can deliver the unique experience our users love and expect from our products. The EU's interoperability requirements threaten that foundation, while creating a process that is unreasonable, costly, and stifles innovation. These requirements will also hand data-hungry companies sensitive information, which poses massive privacy and security risks to our EU users. Companies have already requested our users' most sensitive data — from the content of their notifications, to a full history of every stored WiFi network on their device — giving them the ability to access personal information that even Apple doesn't see. In the end, these deeply flawed rules that only target Apple — and no other company — will severely limit our ability to deliver innovative products and features to Europe, leading to an inferior user experience for our European customers. We are appealing these decisions on their behalf, and in order to preserve the high-quality experience our European customers expect. The last paragraph in particular is the one with the most significance for Apple users in the EU. The fact that Apple may 'severely limit its ability to deliver innovative products and features to Europe' which would lead to 'an inferior user experience for our European customers' could be interpreted in several ways. For one, Apple could simply comply with the EC's interoperability requirements, which include granting full access to iOS notifications, background execution privileges and system feature access to third-party competitors. Apple would also have to allow AirDrop to be replaced as the default wireless file sharing utility on Apple devices. This approach would naturally raise privacy concerns as third parties would be granted system-level privileges, which goes against Apple's ethos. According to Jon Gruber, a more realistic scenario would see Apple dropping AirDrop support for its users in the EU. He also goes on to mention that Apple could stop offering its Apple Watch and AirPods in EU markets due to the EU's interoperability demands. This situation seems less likely as wearables are a big profit maker for Cupertino. As it stands, we'll just have to wait and see how this legal battle unfolds. Source
