Sometimes bears and dogs get into it. And while a lot of our canine companions fancy themselves 'guard dogs,' the truth is that when it comes to fending off bears, they are not always up to the task.
However, the dutiful canine siblings in this video are more than up to the task of protecting their house from a bear in the middle of the night. As you will see, these are some very creative hounds, and they have a unique and hilarious way of driving away the invading bear.
It is well after 3 o'clock in the morning when these dogs are awoken by a frightening sound. Earlier that night, their human mama told them that the neighbors had been seeing bears around the neighborhood, so they needed to be extra careful that night when they went outside to do their business before going to bed.
Naturally, these precious dogs were on edge after being woken up by something going bump in the night. Arming themselves with a wooden spatula and a bicycle helmet, they went to the back window to investigate.
What they found was a black bear making a mess on their back deck and then going through their trash can. Wanting to get rid of this intruder, they devised a cunning plan.
They opened the door, blasted a YouTube clip from a fake movie, Angels withFilthy Souls, which many will likely recognize from Home Alone, where a depression era gangster character that is the famous line, 'Keep the change, ya filthy animal,' after firing a Tommy gun.The bear, living in the wilderness, must have identified as an unclean animal and didn't want any trouble, especially when the gunshots from the YouTube clip started firing, and he ran off into the night.
Quite comically, these dogs' human mama finally awoke after her precious 'guard dogs' had already driven away the bear.
Naturally, she had no idea what had just happened and chastised her fur babies for opening the door in the middle of the night when people had been seeing bears around.
If only she knew, LOL. Seriously, though, that was a top-notch canine video. It was pure cinema, as the kids like to say.
As this other video shows, these dogs and their human mama are no strangers to making incredible videos.
This plan, titled 'A Chip Standoff,' features a The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly-style showdown between a couple of hungry dogs after their human drops a Cheeto in the living room.
With some impressive filmmaking and star-worthy canine charisma, both of these wildly entertaining videos are must-sees.

Listen up WNBA fans, players are fed up with sex toy bit, so can you please keep it in your pants?

The WNBA has been busy making headlines for rising in popularity, having rookie players that are breaking records, and being extremely queer. But lately, the league has been in the news because colorful dildos have been flying onto the court during games. At first, it seemed comical, playful even, and maybe a good luck charm for the Golden State Valkyries, who won both games where a dildo ended up on the court. But now, women's sports fans, it's time to talk because you've taken it too far. It's not funny anymore. The first lime green dildo was thrown onto the court of a contentious game between the Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream on July 29 in Georgia. Almost the entirety of the internet thought the incident was hilarious and quickly got busy making memes. But then it just kept happening. The bizarre trend continued a few days later at an August 1 game between the Valkyries and the Chicago Sky. The third time this happened, Indian Fever star Sophie Cunningham ended up getting hit in the head with the sex toy after telling people on X (formerly Twitter) to 'stop throwing dildos on the court… you're going to hurt one of us.' Then, someone tried to throw another green dildo at a New York Liberty game, but instead of it landing on the court, it nearly hit a child, according to a video posted on social media. Once a sex toy almost nails a kid in the head, it's time to look at what we're doing. At first, we wondered if this wasn't a funny, tongue-in-cheek way to call out just how sapphic the game has gotten, but now that a man has been arrested and said that it was 'supposed to be a joke' and 'go viral,' the intentions seem more problematic. Being taken seriously as a female athlete is already a tough assignment, and having sex toys flying left and right during games isn't helping, especially at a time when WNBA players are fighting for better compensation and revenue sharing. Bottom line: women's sports are not a joke. And while we'd like to think this started as a harmless prank that gave us all a chuckle, it's starting to smack of sexism. In the beginning even some of the players seemed to laugh along. Fever guard Sydney Colson even went on her podcast dressed a green dildo, but then things kept escalating and other players started pointing out how 'disrespectful' and 'dangerous' it is. 'It's super disrespectful,' Sky center Elizabeth Williams said after he game against the Valkyries, per Front Office Sports. 'I don't really get the point of it. It's really immature. Whoever's doing it just needs to grow up.' Sparks coach Lynne Roberts also said, 'It's ridiculous, it's dumb, it's stupid. It's also dangerous. Player safety is number one, respecting the game, all those things. I think it's really stupid.' And GOAT Diana Taurasi had the perfect response for the jokesters, 'I would have picked that thing up and thrown it right back at them.' Maybe we should all just listen to the players themselves. So whoever is keeping this 'joke' going, whether they are straight or gay, it's time to call it quits. The bit is getting tired anyway, right? Netflix Is Bringing Back T.J. HOOKER as an Action Comedy Movie — GeekTyrant

Netflix is diving back into the world of '80s TV procedurals and giving one of its most recognizable titles a modern, comedic twist. The streaming giant has secured the rights to T.J. Hooker , the classic cop drama that originally starred William Shatner, and is turning it into an action comedy film. The original T.J. Hooker series debuted in 1982 and ran for five seasons, wrapping up in 1986 after airing 91 episodes. It followed Shatner's tough-as-nails Sgt. T.J. Hooker, a seasoned cop dealing with the emotional fallout from his partner's death and a messy divorce. Trading in his plainclothes detective badge, Hooker returns to patrol duty to train rookies and take down the kind of criminals who shattered his life. The cast also included Heather Locklear, Adrian Zmed, and James Darren. Now, Netflix is ready to reimagine that gritty, old-school crime-fighter for today's audience. Hooker's 'rough around the edges' style seems tailor-made for a self-aware, action-packed comedy update that plays with how out-of-place his methods might look in a more progressive world. There's no confirmation yet if the now 94-year-old Shatner will appear in the film, but fans will undoubtedly be keeping an eye on that. Jarrad Paul and Andy Mogel are set to write the script for the adaptation. They'll also produce the movie alongside Sophie Cassidy and Matt Crespy of 2.0 Entertainment, Adrian Askarieh of Prime Universe Films, and Alex Westmore of Vali Vista Films. The film's executive production team includes Rick Husky, the creator of the original show. Paul and Mogel bring a solid comedy pedigree to the project. They're currently showrunning Bert , a Netflix series starring Bert Kreischer, which they also co-created and wrote. Their feature Little Brother , starring John Cena and Eric Andre and directed by Matt Spicer, is shooting this summer for Netflix. Their past work includes Huge in France , The Grinder , and The D Train with Jack Black and James Marsden. They also co-wrote the 2008 comedy Yes Man , starring Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel, and created the animated series Allen Gregory with Jonah Hill. With T.J. Hooker coming back in this new form, Netflix is banking on bringing back a familiar face in a way that could appeal to both longtime fans and newcomers looking for a fresh, fun spin on the cop genre.
