Take a whizz round the aisles in Asda it is hard not to notice how good the George at Asda clothing range is at the minute.
Add into the mix their recent collaboration with fashion designer Roksanda, celebrating 40 years of London Fashion Week, which is full of the designer's signature colour blocking dresses, oversized Borg fleeces and bold stripe co-ords, it is easy to see why the brand is on fire!
All proceeds from the range go to The British Fashion Council to help promote young designers, so a win win!
There also seems to be a return to quality in the clothing range.

I trawl car boots for goodies and once picked up a retro 50p toy I sold for £236… here's what you need to look out for
It wasn't until she looked on eBay that she realised what a rare find she'd come across BOOTIE BARGAIN I trawl car boots for goodies and once picked up a retro 50p toy I sold for £236… here's what you need to look out for A WOMAN who has turned reselling into a successful side hustle has revealed her most profitable boot sale find. Kirsty is a pro at finding hidden gems in charity shops and at booties, and took to TikTok to share one of her best discoveries. 4 Kirsty is a pro at finding hidden gems at the boot sale to resell for profit Credit: tiktok/@kirsty_reseller 4 She took to TikTok to reveal one of her most profitable finds - this Tamagotchi Credit: tiktok/@kirsty_reseller 4 The toys were massively popular in the 90s Credit: Reuters 4 She said that she even came across the toy despite arriving late Credit: Getty She said she hadn't been too optimistic about what she was going to find when she arrived at the boot sale later than usual. So was more than a little surprised when she spotted a Tamagotchi toy hidden "amongst a pile of other things in a tin". She paid 50p for the toy - which was massively popular in the 90s among kids who tried to keep their "pet" alive with regular meals and entertainment - and took it home with her. Kirsty admitted it took her a few months before she got round to testing it out. Read more Reselling stories PLAYTIME I buy cheap toys to resell them for profit... trolls hate me but I make £100 But she started to get an inkling she'd found something special when she looked on eBay and couldn't find anything remotely similar. "After doing some more research I found it was a rare music star Tamagotchi," she continued. "This particular pink glittery one was one you could only get in the UK as it was an Argos exclusive." While she usually lists her finds on eBay with a buy it now price, she decided to take a gamble and list it for auction so that "the market can determine" just how collectible and covetable it is. "So after a seven day auction my 50p Tamagotchi sold for £236, which seems crazy to me!" she grinned. The epic find was a few years ago, but Kirsty added that she recently looked one up on eBay, only to find that it sold for over £300. Spot a Rare £1 Coin Worth Up to £500: The Key Details Every Collector Should Know "So definitely be on the lookout for music star Tamagotchis," she concluded. "And it just goes to show that even if you do arrive at the car boot sale late you can still find some gems!" In the comments section, people were quick to praise Kirsty for sharing her top tip, with one writing: "That's amazing! What a find!" Woman praised for ‘genius' hack as she shares clever way she removes facial hair when she's forgotten her tweezers
A WOMAN has been praised for sharing a "genius" hack to remove unwanted facial hair when you haven't got any tweezers. Jenna explained that her mother had taught her the clever trick, which came in useful when she accidentally left her tweezers at home while on holiday. Advertisement 4 Jenna took to TikTok to share her clever hack for removing unwanted facial hair Credit: tiktok/@username42227 4 She didn't have any tweezers so decided to use a tube of lip balm instead Credit: tiktok/@username42227 4 Once positioned correctly, she closed the cap - which captured the hair Credit: tiktok/@username42227 4 And as she pulled it, the hair came out with ease - with people praising her for the "genius" trick Credit: tiktok/@username42227 In a video on her TikTok page, she showed how she used a Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm as her tweezers instead. "I did not pack tweezers and I have a nice black chin hair that apparently grew overnight," she began, pointing out the unwelcome visitor on her chin. She then uncapped the lip balm, before getting the hair in between the case of the product and the lid. As she did so carefully - to avoid giving herself a "blood blister" - Jenna managed to catch the hair, before closing the cap tight. Advertisement The hack meant she was then able to effectively pluck the hair right out in one go. In the caption for the video, Jenna said that the method hasn't "failed me yet". "Life hack for when you don't have tweezers..." she added. "Use your @Maybelline NY baby lips lipstick. Advertisement "Chin hairs don't stand a chance around here!" The comments section was almost immediately filled with people thanking Jenna for sharing the hack. I was so unrecognisable after excruciating facial treatment that my daughter banned me from doing the school run "I would never have the confidence to post this hack," one admitted. "I'm jealous that you are so hot and cool and did this effortlessly for the internet to see, but also I'm so grateful you changed my life !" Exosomes Exosomes are the buzzword for 2025, taking advanced skin regeneration to new heights. These micro-messengers signal skin cells to repair damage, boost collagen, and accelerate recovery, and they're a gamechanger for targeting ageing. 2. Streamlined Skincare The age of 12-step routines is fading as consumers shift to more intentional, multi-functional products. Streamlining skincare not only saves time but also reduces the risk of overloading your skin. In 2025, we'll see a rise in hybrid products that combine active ingredients for simplified, effective results. 3. Vegan Collagen Plant-based collagen will dominate the skincare world this year, providing a sustainable, ethical alternative to traditional animal-derived collagen. Expect vegan collagen in everything from moisturisers to serums. 4. The Rise Of AI AI is revolutionising the beauty landscape, making it possible for consumers to get truly personalised skincare solutions. In 2025, we predict a dramatic shift towards AI-powered tools that help people understand their skin on a deeper level. 5. Hair Loss Solutions - Hair loss is an issue that affects more men than we often realise, and it's no longer just something we're talking about behind closed doors. This year, expect to see a continued rise in demand for treatments that not only tackle hair loss but also nurture overall scalp health. "Stop it! Flipping genius. Thanks mama!" someone else gushed. While another called Jenna an "angel of my life", and added: "I will think of you and send you blessings every time I have to emergency pluck a chin hair for the rest of my life!" "Definitely gonna get caught doing this in my cubicle now, so thank you in advance," someone else laughed. Meanwhile, others used the comments section to share the other inventive ways they have managed to remove their unwanted facial hair without tweezers. Advertisement "I use the hinge on my glasses," one wrote. "Harder to do, but I have used two coins before," another said. "I once plucked my girlfriend's chin hair with my teeth!" a third admitted.

Everything that we know so far about Taylor Swift's new album ‘The Life of a Showgirl'
Titled The Life of a Showgirl, the rumour mill among Swift's millions of fans is already in overdrive. Who will produce it? Which special guests will feature? When will it be released? Given she announced it in a teaser trailer for boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, New Heights, will the NFL star make a surprise appearance? Despite the album being shrouded in secrecy, Swift's fondness of Easter eggs − secret clues she peppers throughout her songs, album artwork, merchandise and live performances − means eagle-eyed fans are already beginning to piece together its contents, from song titles to its orange and pink colour scheme. Whether you're a bona fide super-Swiftie or just the guardian of one, here's your guide to everything we know so far about The Life of a Showgirl. When will it be released? In Swift's world, nothing is accidental: colour schemes, dates, symbols. Fans know all too well that her favourite number is 13. However, 13 might have competition this time around. The Life of a Showgirl will be Swift's 12th album (not counting her four re-recordings), and she announced it yesterday. More details will inevitably be revealed in the full episode of Kelce's NFL podcast with his brother Jason, which will go live today. All signs thus far hint to the album itself being released on October 12: the US pre-order website says all vinyl editions will be shipped out by that date, and her official team shared 12 photos (all featuring Swift in pink and orange stage costumes) to social media in the announcement. The only reason I could see it being released earlier is that old industry chestnut: the Grammys. The cut-off for eligibility for the 2026 awards is the end of this month. Will there be special guest features? Pop star of the moment and Swift protege Sabrina Carpenter is all but confirmed to appear, given that she featured in one of the 12 photos shared to social media. Carpenter is rumoured to be joining Swift on title track The Life of a Showgirl − strikingly, it would be Swift's first-ever female duet on her own album (she has been joined by male artists, including Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar, but has only ever featured women on 'Vault' tracks on her various re-recordings). ADVERTISEMENT Learn more What will it sound like? Fans around the world will be breathing a collective sigh of relief at the rumours swirling around The Life of a Showgirl's producer team. Apparently, Swift's right-hand-man Jack Antonoff − who has produced her last six albums − will not be involved with the project. Instead, Swedish taste-maker Max Martin − widely credited with Swift's emergence as a leading pop star rather than a fringe country artist − is rumoured to be back on board and behind the producer decks. Fans put the pieces together after Swift's official team shared a playlist to social media, containing songs solely produced/written by Martin and Shellback (Martin's fellow Swede and frequent collaborator). It's not that Antonoff's work with Swift has been unsuccessful: far from it. Two of the Swift albums he produced (Folklore and Midnights) won the Grammy for Album of the Year. But after The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD), which many fans considered to be laboured and pretentious, it became apparent that Swift's music needed a burst of fresh energy. And Martin, who helped to give us eternal bangers such as We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Blank Space and ...Ready for It? (as well as countless chart-toppers from Britney, Katy Perry and The Weeknd), could be just the ticket. After two albums of weepy ballads and romantic takedowns, here's hoping for optimistic, cheerful pop. What are the songs? Take this with a pinch of salt, but a leaked tracklist has emerged containing 12 songs. The song titles are as follows: The Fate of Ophelia Elizabeth Taylor Opalite Father Figure Oldest Daughter Ruin the Friendship Actually Romantic Wi$h Li$t Wood Cancelled! Honey The Life of a Showgirl Will there be a tour? Probably. Given the mammoth success of the Eras tour, which spanned 149 shows around the world and clocked in at a gruelling three-hour run time, Swift will have a tough time matching its success. She probably won't try to: not in terms of grand scale, anyway. I predict she will return to her pre-Eras tour model of performing mostly songs from her most recent album, with a few fan-favourite oldies thrown in for good measure. If it is released this year, a world tour presumably won't be on the cards until at least 2027. This would leave Swift free to headline the Super Bowl half-time show − for the first time − next year.
