Nation's No. 2 QB Drops Intriguing Recruiting Hint After Four Major Offers
Houston (6-foot, 198 pounds) plays for Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana.

As a first-year starter last season, Houston completed 70% of his passes for 4,480 yards with 38 touchdowns to six interceptions while adding 690 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.
Houston is rated as the No. 2 quarterback, the No. 2 player in the state and the No. 5 overall recruit in his class, per Rivals.
Although Houston is just entering his junior high school season, the highly-touted recruit is gaining interest from a impressive list of major college football programs.
Florida State, Michigan, Auburn and Penn State extended scholarship offers to Houston this year, bringing his total to 27 offers. Major powers like Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M, USC and LSU are believed to be at the top of his list to this point.

There is still a long ways to go in Houston's recruitment, but he did drop a subtle hint during a Rivals camp in Dallas on Sunday.

Houston, who took home the camp's quarterback MVP honors, performed in drills with a Georgia towel in tow.
The Bulldogs offered the dual-threat passer back in October.
Houston sporting the UGA towel isn't enough to make an assumption on where he may ultimately land, but head coach Kirby Smart's Bulldogs probably look kindly on the choice of gear as they battle other recruiting giants.
The recruiting race surrounding Houston will only intensify leading up to his senior season. He will be able to start taking official visits in April of 2026.

Paul typically weighs more than 200 pounds in the ring, while Davis is a 135-pound champion who has never fought above 140 pounds. The fighters did not announce a contracted weight or the number of rounds in their planned bout. The fight would mark a return to Netflix for the 28-year-old Paul, whose victory last November over the then-58-year-old Mike Tyson drew an estimated 108 million viewers globally. After Paul beat a tepid Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by decision earlier this summer, he entered the World Boxing Association's cruiserweight rankings at No. 14, making him eligible to fight for world titles. Instead of pursuing a cruiserweight belt, Paul recently discussed a fight with two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua — a more logical opponent in terms of size and strength — but shifted his focus to the popular Davis. who has jousted with Paul on social media for years. Perhaps Paul can look inside his own family for a plan: His older brother, Logan, weighed 189 pounds before fighting Floyd Mayweather at 155 pounds in an eight-round exhibition bout in 2021. Davis has been billed by his promoters as 'the modern day Mike Tyson" because of the frequency with which he has won by knockout, but his career and life have been rocky in 2025. Keldric Faulk and Cam Coleman named to All-SEC First Team
A pair of Auburn Tigers received spots on the All-SEC Preseason First Team this week. Wide receiver Cam Coleman and defensive lineman Keldric Faulk were both named to the 29-man squad by coaches in the conference. It is the first time either Tiger has been named to the preseason First Team in their respective careers. Heading into just his second season on the Plains, sophomore wide receiver Cam Coleman joined fellow second-year pass catcher Ryan Williams (Alabama) on the All-SEC First Team. Coleman had a see-saw start to his college career due in large part to injuries and a carousel, which essentially operated as a ring of fire, at the quarterback position, but found enough balance to finish his inaugural college football season strong with over 300 yards and 5 touchdowns in his final three games. The former five-star recruit ended his freshman campaign with 37 receptions, 598 yards, and a team-high 8 receiving touchdowns. A native of Phenix City, Alabama, Coleman is still just 19 years old heading into a season in which he has a chance to play himself into the Heisman Trophy conversation. Keldric Faulk opens his junior season after an absurd accession into stardom during his sophomore campaign. Faulk was a beacon of ferocious, flashing, light in an otherwise cloudy season for Auburn a year ago. Sharing the title of best pass rusher on the team with senior Jalen McLeod, Faulk turned in 45 tackles, 7 sacks, and 11 tackles for loss. The Highland Home, Alabama native took up residence in the opponent's backfield weekly, earning standout performances against Georgia (2 sacks), Alabama (2 TFL and forced fumble), and Kentucky, when he won SEC Defensive Lineman of the wood. Auburn was one of six programs in the conference to receive multiple recognitions on the All-SEC First Team. Georgia (9) led the way with Texas (3) and LSU (3) finishing ahead of Auburn (2), Florida (2) and Alabama (2).
