New anti-racism campaign and resource launched in Kerry
Key partners included the Kerry Community Integration Forum, Cork and Kerry Local Authority Integration Team (LAIT), Cork Migrant Centre, the Cork Migrant Centre Youth Initiative, Nano Nagle Place, Cork City and County LAITs, and Tusla.
The project received funding from the Department of Children, Disability and Equality under the National Action Plan Against Racism (NAPAR). It is intended to provide communities, organisations, and individuals with practical and accessible tools to foster inclusion and actively counter racism in all its forms.
Friday's launch is part of the broader campaign Championing Inclusion: Building a Stronger Ireland Together, which seeks to highlight that Ireland's strength lies in embracing diversity, unity, and inclusivity.
This timely resource supports anti-racism work at the community level by clearly explaining key concepts—such as anti-racism, microaggressions, and safe spaces—in clear, straightforward language, accompanied by practical examples.
It features scenario-based guidance and a colour-coded "traffic light" system to help users assess levels of risk and respond appropriately to challenging situations. With these tools, individuals and groups will be better prepared to address racism in everyday life.
Claire O'Toole, Coordinator of the Kerry Children and Young People Services Committee, welcomed the launch, saying:
'This initiative represents the shared commitment of organisations across Cork and Kerry, alongside people with lived experience of racism and input from both youth and practitioner focus groups. Together, we are working to create inclusive, welcoming spaces for everyone. By building awareness and encouraging collective action, we can shape a future where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported. This campaign and resource are vital steps toward that goal.'

Starter Frankie Montas is moving to the bullpen amid struggles that have plagued him since he was called up in late June. Mendoza did not name Montas' replacement for his next scheduled start on Saturday against the Seattle Mariners. "It's possible" that the Mets call up a pitcher from Triple-A Syracuse to take his place, Mendoza said. Montas didn't allow a run in five innings that game, but has since complied a career-worst 6.38 ERA in eight appearances, seven of them starts. Montas made his first appearance out of the bullpen in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. He allowed three earned runs (one earned), three hits and issued two walks in three innings of relief. Now he'll remain in the bullpen. The Mets make the move amid a slump in which they've lost seven straight games and 11 of their last 12. They've fallen to 63-55, which placed them six games behind the NL East-leading Philadelphia Phillies prior to Tuesday's game against the Braves. New York remains in playoff position, but its hold on that position is tenuous. As of Tuesday afternoon, the Mets held a two-game lead over the Cincinnati Reds (62-58) for the final wild-card spot in the National League.

Analysts expecting strong demand for its AI related products, which could push sales through the top end of its fourth quarter guidance. The company's four to six percent revenue growth target is likely to remain unchanged. And also, taking a look at Brinker, the global restaurant company reporting fourth quarter earnings on Wednesday. Analysts forecasting strong sales growth in Q4, driven by strong performance at its flagship chain Chili's. And moving over to the Federal Reserve, we'll be getting another round of commentary from multiple Fed presidents. On Wednesday, investors will be closely listening for any talk on tariffs. Kansas City Fed president Jeff Schmidt is saying on Tuesday that increased tariffs appear to be having only a limited impact on inflation, but that's reason to keep Fed policy on hold and not to ease. This coming after July's Consumer Price Index came in less than expected on Tuesday amid worries that tariff induced inflation would show up in the report.

HardTech and Transmission set for electrifying Malaysia debut at Sepang MotoGP weekend
