Mysuru: Kannada writer Kalegowda Nagavara, former chairman of Karnataka Folklore Academy, on Monday recalled the contributions of artist and folklorist PR Thippeswamy for the promotion of folklore and Kannada language. He was speaking after inaugurating the birth anniversary celebrations organised by PR Thippeswamy Prathishtana and the PR Thippeswamy Study Centre, held at the Kuvempu Institute of Kannada studies in Manasagangothri here.
