This edition continues to focus on 2014 as the Sixers continued to retool the roster as part of the rebuild. After adding Joel Embiid and Dario Saric in Round 1, the Sixers selected KJ McDaniels with the No. 32 overall pick in the second round. Advertisement McDaniels only lasted 52 games for the Sixers as a rookie before being sent to the Houston Rockets at the 2015 deadline. He averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks during his short stint in Philadelphia while showing off his athletic prowess from time to time. Overall, McDaniels only lasted three seasons in the league. He played for the Sixers, Rockets, and Brooklyn Nets and had career averages of 5.3 points and 2.2 rebounds.
