Demi Moore's universally flattering Oscars makeup is a rare 20% off right now
To perfect her pout, Moore's makeup artist, Sofia Tilbury, used the brand's Lip Cheat lip liner in one of the brand's three iconic Pillow Talk shades. Here's the cool thing about Pillow Talk: it promises to look good on all skin tones, lip shapes, ages and styles. Another cool thing? Charlotte Tilbury is having a rare sitewide sale right now. If you spend over $60, you can grab the brand's entire lineup, which includes, Moore's exact Pillow Talk lip liner for just $20 (down from $28) with the code REDCARPET.
Everyone knows how challenging it is to find the perfect lip shade, which is why all three Pillow Talk shades have been rocking the beauty world since the original was first launched in 2017. The woman behind the lip speaks to the impact of the right soft hue: "When you apply a flattering, nuanced nude shade," says Charlotte Tilbury, "it's empowering and never overwhelming ... the ultimate sultry, supermodel seduction." Her trio of Pillow Talk options means there's one "for every skin tone, from fair to medium to deep ... for every moment, every mood, everyone!"
Now, Tilbury has expanded her one-shade-fits-all philosophy for a total of three variations: Pillow Talk Original is the flagship—a nude pink that flatters all faces; Pillow Talk Medium is a warm berry shade; and Pillow Talk Intense is a deep berry-rose with an extra-moisturizing texture.
However, no good makeup look is complete without the all-important setting spray. Moore's entire beauty look was topped off with Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, which is on sale for $30 (down from $38). Just like Pillow Talk, the spray is seriously popular — one bottle sells every six seconds.
Need some more convincing? Let this five-star reviewer share their tale: "It was 90 degrees out and the car AC was broken. Then we went to hibachi and I got the worst seat and the fire and steam were right in my face the entire time," they began. "I checked my makeup after it was all through and it hadn't melted or anything. Magic spray."
It's not just Moore who locked in their look with the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. Michelle Yeoh, Best Actor nominee Colman Domingo (Sing Sing) and Best Actor winner Adrien Brody (The Brutalist) also reportedly wore the bestselling formula for the big night.

Timothee Chalamet & Kylie Jenner's Relationship in the Way of His Career, Says Source
Timothee Chalamet's inner circle may not be in favor of his relationship with , as they reportedly think it's impacting his career. The couple, who initially sparked romance rumors in 2023, made headlines during the awards season earlier this year. Jenner joined Chalamet at multiple star-studded events, including the Oscars. However, according to the latest claims, some insiders believe the actor's relationship with the reality television personality is not helping his career. Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner's relationship status is impacting his work, says source A new report has suggested that Timothee Chalamet may have lost the Oscar because of his relationship with Kylie Jenner. Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop exclusively learned from sources that the 29-year-old actor did not bag the Best Actor award for his role in 'A Complete Unknown' at the 97th Academy Awards. This was reportedly because of his 'headline-making romance' with the makeup mogul. Chalamet's team now reportedly wants him to 'ditch' Jenner. A source stated that Chalamet was 'supposed to win for the Bob Dylan biopic.' However, Adrien Brody 'swooped in and stole the narrative.' The 52-year-old won the Best Actor award for his role in 'The Brutalist' at the 2025 Oscars. If Chalamet had bagged the trophy, it would have made him the youngest winner in the category. According to the #ShuterScoop insiders, the Academy may not have been in favor of his 'supporting boyfriend' image. The insiders alleged that Jenner's much-talked-about presence alongside Chalamet made the nominee look like a 'plus-one at his own party.' One source further stated that the 'Dune' star is 'in love', but he is 'blind to the fallout.' They continued, 'The guy's got talent,' and added, 'but this isn't the vibe Hollywood rewards.' Meanwhile, Chalamet's inner circle has reportedly been urging him to call quits on the relationship. Earlier this year, Timothee Chalamet went solo on the red carpet of the 2025 Oscars. His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, only joined him during the awards ceremony. Later, the couple also attended the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party together. 5 new to HBO Max movies to stream this month with 90% or higher on Rotten Tomatoes
If you're looking to cool off this summer, HBO Max is stocking its library with plenty of fresh new movies worth adding to your watchlist. And it's clear to see why we consider it one of the best streaming services out there. For help narrowing down what to watch on your next movie night, it sometimes pays to let the critics do the legwork. HBO Max added plenty of critically acclaimed movies this month, but only a select few have hit that coveted 90% or higher threshold on Rotten Tomatoes. While a high score is no guarantee that you'll love a movie, it is a reliable indicator that most viewers have enjoyed their time watching it. This month's picks include everything from a slept-on feel-good adventure to an unsettling psychological thriller and an entry from Hollywood's golden age. So, without further ado, here are the five new to Max movies with 90% or higher on Rotten Tomatoes this month. "You Hurt My Feelings" is a sharp, insightful exploration of the little white lies we tell to protect the people we love. It taps into a deeply relatable fear, one that those in long-term relationships may know all too well: What if my partner isn't being entirely truthful, but just telling me what I want to hear? That's the question nagging at Beth (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), a creative writing teacher and author who has always leaned on the unwavering support of her husband, Don (Tobias Menzies). The cracks begin to show when, after receiving negative feedback on her latest book, she comes to him for the positive appraisal she craves, only to later overhear him tell a friend that he doesn't like the book either. The moment leaves Beth reeling. Her trust in their otherwise solid relationship unravels, and as the two argue, more hard truths come spilling out in both hilarious and heartbreaking fashion. Rotten Tomatoes score: 94%Watch 'You Hurt My Feelings' on HBO Max now It's no secret that Viola Davis can pretty much do it all, and she won top praise for her leading role in "The Woman King" (though the film was notably shut out from the Oscars despite its success at the box office). Inspired by the real-life Agojie, the all-female warrior army of the Dahomey Kingdom in West Africa, it stars Davis as General Nanisca, a fierce and respected leader training a new generation of soldiers. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Though a masterful warrior, Nanisca pushes for diplomacy, often clashing with King Ghezo (John Boyega) over how to fund the vast empire. As she mentors a group of promising new recruits, she discovers one shares a special connection with her. "The Woman King's" fight sequences are easily its biggest strength, with visceral shots of close-quarters combat that'll leave you wincing with every spear and machete clash. Rotten Tomatoes score: 94%Watch 'The Woman King' on HBO Max from August 13 More Mark Twain than modern drama, 'The Peanut Butter Falcon' is a feel-good flick with a real underdog spirit. It's clear to see why it's quietly become one of the most beloved indie films in recent years. Zack Gottsagen delivers a standout performance as Zak, a young man with Down syndrome who escapes his assisted living facility to chase his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. On the road, he meets Tyler (Shia LaBeouf), a troubled fisherman running from his past, and the unlikely pair quickly become fast friends. They also manage to convince Eleanor (Dakota Johnson), a young nurse, to join them on their adventure. If you're in the mood for a thoughtful and emotionally resonant comedy-drama, this is definitely one to add to your watchlist. Rotten Tomatoes score: 95%Watch 'The Peanut Butter Falcon' on HBO Max now "Martha Marcy May Marlene" stands out as one of the most gripping and nuanced movies about cults. This haunting psychological thriller follows Martha (Elizabeth Olsen), a young woman who escapes an abusive cult led by a charismatic and calculating leader (John Hawkes). Seeking safety, she takes refuge with her estranged sister Lucy (Sarah Paulson) and brother-in-law Ted (Hugh Dancy) at their lakeside home, but the scars of her past run deep. As Martha struggles to reconnect with a world that now feels alien, her trauma begins to blur the lines between memory and reality. You're kept guessing whether the cult is actually tracking her down or her paranoia has convinced her that nowhere is safe. "Martha Marcy May Marlene" trades the clichés of modern true-crime cult narratives for an empathetic if unsettling exploration of how difficult it can be to truly break free from a controlling and abusive environment. Rotten Tomatoes score: 90%Watch 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' on HBO Max now Few romantic period dramas have captivated audiences, body and soul, quite like 2005's "Pride and Prejudice," but Jane Austen's seminal novel was first brought to the big screen during Hollywood's golden age, and it's worth revisiting for fans of her works. The 1940 "Pride and Prejudice" adaptation offers a relatively straightforward retelling, but its lighthearted tone and added humor give it a distinct charm. Fun fact: It's directed by Aldous Huxley, author of the dystopian classic "A Brave New World." Purists should be warned that this one takes certain liberties with the source material. However, some of the new elements are pretty interesting and help the movie distinguish itself as a unique spin on a familiar story. And despite condensing the main story, it still manages to develop Elizabeth (Greer Garson) and Mr. Darcy's (Laurence Olivier) romance to great effect. Rotten Tomatoes score: 100%Watch 'Pride and Prejudice' on HBO Max now Follow Tom's Guide on Google News to get our up-to-date news, how-tos, and reviews in your feeds. Tom Hanks reacts to the death of Jim Lovell, astronaut he portrayed in 'Apollo 13' movie
Tom Hanks is sharing a touching sendoff for Jim Lovell, the Apollo 13 commander Hanks portrayed in the Oscar-winning film of the same name 30 years ago. Hours after news of Lovell's death at 97 on Aug. 7 became public, Hanks, 69, took to Instagram to share a tribute for the decorated astronaut. "There are people who dare, who dream, and who lead others to the places we would not go on our own. Jim Lovell, who for a long while had gone farther into space and for longer than any other person of our planet, was that kind of guy," Hanks wrote. The message continued: "His many voyages around Earth and on to so-very-close to the moon were not made for riches or celebrity, but because such challenges as those are what fuels the course of being alive – and who better than Jim Lovell to make those voyages. On this night of a full Moon, he passes on – to the heavens, to the cosmos, to the stars." The Oscar-winning actor concluded his statement by writing, "God speed you, on this next voyage, Jim Lovell." The Ron Howard film released on June 30, 1995, told the story of the Apollo 13 crew's return to Earth after an oxygen tank exploded during the voyage, leaving them with dangerous levels of carbon dioxide in an April 1970 NASA mission. It was a hit in Hollywood and beyond, earning $355 million at the box office globally as well as two Oscars. 'Apollo 13' in IMAX: Jim Lovell died months before movie's return to theaters Tom Hanks attended President Clinton's ceremony honoring Jim Lovell Hanks and Lovell's paths crossed several times over the decades. Hanks and son Colin Hanks were in the Oval Office when then President Bill Clinton presented Lovell with the Congressional Space Medal of Honor on July 26, 1995. "What you did up there and what you have accomplished in your life back here on Earth continues to be an inspiration to all your fellow Americans," Clinton said. Hanks also attended the unveiling of Lovell's portrait during a 2010 ceremony in Chicago awarding the astronaut with the Lincoln Leadership prize. Knowing Jim Lovell 'a tremendous honor' for 'Apollo 13' director Ron Howard The creatives behind the "Apollo 13" film adaptation also paid tribute to Lovell in an Aug. 8 statement shared with USA TODAY. "Rest in peace, Commander Lovell. Navy test pilot, Gemini 7, Gemini 12, Apollo 8 and, of course, Apollo 13," Howard said in his message. "Simply knowing Jim has been a tremendous honor. His combination of intellect, courage and commitment to duty made him one of the most remarkable individuals I've ever met. His support of our movie-making efforts inspired authenticity and elevated our process in so many ways." Howard then thanked Lovell "for your service to our country and to humankind." Producer Brian Grazer said: "Jim Lovell was a true American hero whose courage, intellect, and grace under pressure inspired a nation. He was not only a legend in space exploration, but also an incredibly generous, kind and inspiring man." "Apollo 13" was the first film to be remastered for IMAX release in 2022, according to Universal Pictures. It will be released again in IMAX theaters on Sept. 19 to mark the 30th anniversary of the movie's release.
