Bo Nickal Sends Blistering Message: ‘Spit in Your Face' While Plotting UFC Comeback
The drama at UFC Kansas didn't wait for the first bell. Before a single punch was thrown, the co-main event between highly touted American rising star Bo Nickal and Reinier de Ridder had fans on edge. The highly anticipated clash brought eyes from every corner of the MMA world—but it was the aftermath of Nickal's first professional loss that truly lit up social media. What came next wasn't just about a loss—it was about a fighter sending a warning to everyone who doubted him.
Bo Nickal initially kept a composed demeanor after the bout. But in a video posted to his personal YouTube channel, the former collegiate wrestling champion unleashed a raw and unfiltered message directed at critics. The clip, which was widely circulated and shared by Spinnin Backfist, featured Nickal saying: 'All the negative comments, I look at that and all I say is just like, suck my d**k,' Nickal said. 'At the end of the day, say what you want, but when I get back on top and when I'm the freaking champion of the world, they're all crawling back! And I will spit right in your face. As soon as you crawl back and you know, 'Bo, come give me an interview,' blah blah blah. Where were you? Where were you? And guess what I'm gonna say? 'Okay, come over here.' spits Right between the eyes. And that's how I'll treat you guys.'
Despite the backlash and noise, Nickal made it clear he wants to fight again soon. He hopes to compete at least twice more this year, using the recent loss as motivation to sharpen his skills.

Fans Rip Patchy Mix After Loss to Mario Bautista at UFC 316
Fans Rip Patchy Mix After Loss to Mario Bautista at UFC 316 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. UFC 316 is in the books, and while the card delivered a mix of highlights and hard-fought moments, held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on June 7, one fighter's performance stood out — for all the wrong reasons. Despite a stacked resume and plenty of hype heading into the event, fans were left underwhelmed by a newcomer who failed to live up to expectations. The fighter in question? A seasoned champion finally making his Octagon debut — with bold words to match. Advertisement Former Bellator bantamweight champion Patchy Mix, 31, made his long-awaited UFC debut on short notice against Mario Bautista. The signing of Mix in May was met with excitement. Many expected the three-time world champion to shake up the division. Mix certainly didn't hold back pre-fight, making bold statements during an episode of UFC Embedded, confidently stating: 'I'm a three‑time world champion… This guy's a journeyman fighter. I'll submit him' and 'I plan to run him over.' Dana WhiteGettyImages But when the cage door closed, it was Bautista who dictated the action. Mix struggled to find rhythm and ultimately dropped a unanimous decision. Fans and analysts pointed out his lack of head movement and footwork, with some calling his stance stiff and his offensive output flat. Patchy MixGetty Images Following the loss, Mix shared an Instagram story captured by Kevin on X: 'Took the fight on 3 weeks notice against a guy who's on an 8 fight win streak in the UFC. I don't hang my head.' Fans, however, didn't let up: 'Guy talked so much sh*t just to say 'took the fight on 3 week's notice'... Come on guy.' 'He was talking so much before the fight about how he was gonna finish all the Bantamweights, dudes a joke.' 'That still doesn't explain how terrible he looked, short notice fights don't prevent you from using head movement and moving as stiff as a board. Didn't even attempt a takedown or anything.' Advertisement Following the event, UFC President Dana White was asked about Mix's debut in a video shared by Crazy MMA on YouTube and said: 'We've seen it happen before when you come from smaller shows and get to the UFC. Some people shine and some people have a rough time. It's not easy.' Now, the pressure is already building. With deep competition at 135 pounds, Mix may have to earn back fan confidence quickly — or risk becoming just another name on the roster. What are the pros and cons of the Boston Celtics trading Kristaps Porzingis?
What are the pros and cons of the Boston Celtics trading Kristaps Porzingis? On June 3, MassLive's Brian Robb released an article detailing multiple potential trade packages for Kristaps Porzingis. The Boston Celtics' big man is seen as one of the most logical trade candidates for the franchise this summer, as they look to avoid a $500 million payroll next season. As can be expected, Celtics fans were split on whether any of the packages represented fair value for a big man that helped the franchise win a championship in 2024. Nevertheless, the fact remains that as an expiring contract, Porzingis is indeed one of the most tradable players on Boston's current roster. During a June 4 episode of CLNS Media's "The Garden Report," Robb joined host Bobby Manning to discuss his trade proposals and whether Porzingis could be on the move this summer. The Celtics insider also debated whether the Celtics should embrace trading the big man or whether they should try to retain his services.
