Event commemorating birth of Zahra at University of Science & Technology
Sana'a - Saba: The University of Science and Technology - Female Branch and the University Student Forum, in cooperation with the General Mobilization in Sana'a, organized a speech event on the occasion of the International Day of Muslim Women and in commemoration of the birth of Mrs. Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her. The Director of Student Affairs, Mona Al-Ashwal, stressed the importance of drawing inspiration from the values and morals of Mrs. Al-Zahra and highlighting the status of women in Islam and their role as men's partners in building society through the teachings of religion. The mobilization official pointed out the importance of this occasion to promote Muslim women's awareness of the dangers of "soft war" aimed at corrupting women under slogans such as women's rights and democracy. The event also witnessed the establishment of the annual bazaar for productive families, with the participation of 15 local projects over a period of three days, displaying handicrafts, food, health, and cosmetic products, with the aim of supporting Yemeni women and encouraging them to produce and be self-sufficient.
