The 43-year-old gushed that she is "so happy to be sitting down" with Tina and she is "so glad" she reached out.
But the episode was recorded on May 5, the day before Archie's birthday.
Meghan says in the podcast: "Where did the time go?"
The pair spoke about Tina's first Headliners hair salon in Texas in 1990.
The Duchess said: "I remember me with all my hair growing up, oh my gosh.
"My mum would have to drop me off at the hair salon and I would sit there for three to four hours for them to press and curl my hair, and that was at the age of 13."
Meghan also spoke about her A-list pal Tyler Perry, who offered the Sussexes a private refuge during their move to the US.
It comes after the Duchess was spotted with Prince Harry at Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour at SoFi Stadium on May 9.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen dancing in a luxury suite worth thousands of dollars at the singer's Cowboy Carter tour in LA.
Harry, 40, was standing and bopping his head awkwardly while the Duchess repeatedly threw her hands in the air as Beyonce belted out Texas Hold'Em.
He wore a khaki hat, jacket and black T-shirt for the cowboy-themed show while Meghan, 43, wore a royal blue dress.
A separate official photo posted on Beyonce's official tour website showed the couple smiling with their arms around each other.
The Duchess of Sussex also went to Beyoncé's Renaissance tour in California in 2023 along with Harry, her mother Doria Ragland and Suits co-star Abigail Spencer.
While Meghan and Doria could be seen beaming and raising their arms during the concert, an unsmiling Prince Harry had his arms stuffed in his pockets.
Meghan first publicly met Beyoncé and Jay-Z in London in 2019.
They met at the premiere of Disney's remake of The Lion King, in which the pop star was the voice of Nala.
Meghan and Harry have crossed paths a number of times with Beyonce.
In 2019, the singer received a Brit Award standing in front of a regal portrait of the Duchess of Sussex wearing a crown and jewels.
Beyonce and Jay-Z explained the decision, saying: 'In honour of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.'
Meghan's makeup artist Daniel Martin revealed how she responded to the news, when he appeared on CBS News.
He recalled: 'I sent her a pic. I think it was a screen grab of the two of them in front of the portrait.
'I think all I wrote was, 'Girl.' She wrote me back like the big eye emoji.'
Meanwhile, Beyonce previously praised Meghan after her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, which blasted 'racist' Britain, the Royal Family and the press, while highlighting Meghan's mental health struggles.
Beyonce wrote on her website: 'Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you.'

The sweet and salty pots cost £4.99 or £3.99 for Lidl Plus members, which is far more expensive than the store's other chocolate spreads. However, the price tag is not deterring customers, and the shop has implemented a strict three-jar-only policy. One shared a snap of the toast topping on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group. The emotional tribute came at the close of Wednesday's episode for 24-year-old Sam Gardiner, who passed away this week. When the end credits began to roll, the viewers were met with a touching tribute to the series two adventurer. Displayed alongside Sam's photo, the message read: "In loving memory of Sam Gardiner, 2000 to 2025." ‌ Fans of the hit BBC travel show expressed their sorrow on X (formerly Twitter), with one posting: "They gave Sam Gardiner an end card. Sad." Another shared: "The tribute to Sam Gardiner [sad face]," and one more added: "Rest in peace to Sam Gardiner, who took part in series 2 with his Mum, Jo, back in 2020." A fourth viewer noted: "Lovely tribute to Sam at the end," while another wrote: "Rest in peace Sam." ‌ Sam tragically died in a car crash on Sunday (June 1), as confirmed by his family, reports Plymouth Live. His mother Jo, who was his teammate on the 2019 series, and father Andrew offered a heartfelt statement: "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Sam in a terrible accident. "We hold on to the beautiful memories of him, even though words can't fully do justice to how much light and joy he brought into our world. Sam was adored by his family. As a son, brother and nephew, he was loyal, funny and fiercely protective." Sources revealed that after participating in Race Across the World, the experience "opened his eyes to the wonder of adventure and travel". A heartwarming post was later made on Instagram by the official BBC travel series account, honouring Sam and Jo's memorable journey from Mexico to Argentina. "We are all deeply saddened to hear the tragic news about Sam, who died this week following a car accident," the post read. The tribute expressed how evident it was to those who met him and viewers alike, just how life-changing and significant the journey had been for Sam and his mum, Jo. The homage was wrapped up with: "Since filming, both Sam and Jo have been an integral part of the Race Across the World cast family and on behalf of us all from the BBC, production and the rest of the cast, we would like to extend our deepest condolences."
