May 26 (UPI) -- SZA took home the first prize at the American Music Awards on Monday in Las Vegas for her song "Saturn."
She won for Favorite R&B Song, one of six nominations for the night, including Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Favorite Hip-Hop Song, Favorite Female R&B Artist and Favorite R&B Album.
"I'm so grateful for everyone that worked on this song," SZA said during her acceptance speech.
Blake Shelton made his first appearance at the AMAs, singing his hit "Stay Country or Die Tryin.'"
The show opened with a performance by host Jennifer Lopez briefly singing her 2012 hit "Dance Again" followed by a dance routine to a medley of 23 of the year's biggest hits by Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Shaboozey, Béyonce and more.

On the red carpet, she stunned in a Bronx and Banco silver-chained bodysuit with multiple diamond necklaces and bracelets. 'Carrie' series casts Summer Howell, Samantha Sloyan
June 2 (UPI) -- Samantha Sloyan and Summer Howell will officially star in Prime Video's Carrie series based on Stephen King's novel. Based on the Stephen King novel, the TV adaptation hails from the Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan. Sloyan (The Life of Chuck) and Howell (Curse of Chucky) will portray controlling mother Margaret White and her daughter Carrie, a bullied teen with telekinetic powers, respectively. Other cast members include Matthew Lillard, Alison Thornton, Thalia Dudek, Siena Agudong, Amber Midthunder, Josie Totah, Aruthur Conti and Joel Oulette. Carrie was previously portrayed by Sissy Spacek and Chloe Grace Moretz in 1976 and 2013 film adaptations, respectively. The Prime Video series is penned by Flanagan.
