Many stars wear wigs or hair extensions to maintain a specific look between filming schedules. One of those stars is Chinese actor Chen Zheyuan (陈哲远), who recently went viral after an unfortunate mishap with his wig.
The actor recently appeared on the Chinese variety show, 'Keep Running', to promote his new drama. On the day of recording, cast members and fellow guests questioned if he was wearing a wig, noting the slightly off appearance of his hair. Chen Zheyuan casually admitted that he was. As it turns out, the actor shaved his hair for a new role, so the wig was to cover the buzz cut, ensuring he didn't look different from his usual self.
As the show progressed, the 28-year-old had to receive punishment for losing a game, where the opposing team would splash buckets of water onto his face. Before proceeding with the splashing, a cast member suggested Chen Zheyuan take off his wig to avoid embarrassment. They even joked that the audience may get a shock if they see the wig fly off, saying, 'They might think you've lost your scalp!'.
However, Chen Zheyuan insisted on keeping his wig on, joking that he wanted to test the quality. As soon as the water hit the actor, his wig instantly flew away, exposing his buzz cut. The cast immediately burst into laughter at the scene. Funnily, some guests even hurried to pick the wig from the pool and placed it back on Chen Zheyuan's head. They even jokingly shouted at the cameras, telling them to stop recording.
The hilarious scene went viral on Chinese social media sites, garnering thousands of views. Thankfully, Chen Zheyuan could find humour in the moment, posting the clip on his Weibo with the caption, 'Don't say anything, just pretend you didn't see it, okay?'. Meanwhile, fans are encouraging the star, saying he should just embrace the buzz cut. Some even say he looks handsome regardless of his hairstyle.
Chen Zheyuan may not have expected his wig to fly off while filming the show, but it did result in one hilarious moment. Watch the clip of the incident below:

#SHOWBIZ: Jimmy Kimmel reveals Matt Damon nearly choked to death at his home

LOS ANGELES: Matt Damon narrowly avoided a life-threatening incident during dinner at Jimmy Kimmel's house, after choking on a spare rib that became lodged in his throat for nearly 90 minutes. The late-night host recalled the frightening moment in an interview with Variety, saying the 54-year-old actor had arrived hungry and began eating quickly before the rib got stuck. "He came late, was very hungry, and started eating fast. He started choking on a pork rib. It was stuck in his throat for about an hour and a half," Jimmy, 57, explained. The comedian admitted he panicked at the thought of Damon possibly dying under his roof. "His brother was there. I said, 'We've got to get him to the hospital, because if he dies in my house, I'm going to prison for the rest of my life. I'll never be able to explain this as anything other than a murder.'" Despite repeated attempts, the Heimlich manoeuvre proved unsuccessful. Desperate for a solution, they turned to YouTube tutorials and eventually discovered that eating small pieces of bread might help. The unconventional method worked, with Damon finally able to swallow the rib. "Bread saved him," Kimmel said. "We tried the Heimlich many times. It was too far down." The incident adds another twist to the pair's long-running comedic 'feud,' which began in 2005 when Kimmel joked at the end of his show, "Apologies to Matt Damon, but we ran out of time." Since then, their playful rivalry has included red-carpet banter and Sarah Silverman's viral parody song "I'm [expletive] Matt Damon."
