Netflix's The Gentlemen Reveals Full Season 2 Cast as Filming Begins in UK
The Gentlemen is locked and loaded for a new season, now filming in the UK, Netflix announced on Wednesday.
A TVLine 'Hidden Gem' of 2024, the action-comedy was described thusly by our Rebecca Luther: 'If you've found yourself tiring of TV's endless string of dour crime dramas, consider The Gentlemen a perfect palate cleanser. The stakes get high, but [it] refuses to take itself too seriously.'

The Gentlemen's renewal was announced in August 2024, with Netflix confirming that Theo James, Kaya Scodelario and Daniel Ings would be reprising their roles as aristocrat Eddie Horniman, drug empire heiress Susie Glass, and Eddie's cocaine-addicted older brother Freddy.
Season 2 will also see the return of Ray Winstone as Susie's father Bobby; Joely Richardson as Eddie's mother Sabrina, the Duchess of Halstead; Vinnie Jones as Halstead Manor's longtime gamekeeper, Geoffrey; Jasmine Blackborow as Eddie's younger sister Lady Charlotte 'Charly' Horniman; Michael Vu as weed grower Jimmy Chang; Harry Goodwins as Susie's brother, boxer Jack Glass; Ruby Sear as mystery woman Gabrielle; Pearce Quigley as Scouse crime family boss John 'The Gospel' Dixon; and Giancarlo Esposito as American billionaire Stanley Johnston.
New for Season 2 are Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellito, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr., and TV host/DJ Maya Jama.
As Season 2 opens (premiere date TBA), 'It's been one year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work together in Bobby's criminal empire overseas. As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound. Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well….'
Says series creator Guy Ritchie, 'I am delighted to return to set for Season 2 of The Gentlemen. This chapter sees a deliberate expansion, both geographically and thematically, as we journey from the English countryside to the Italian lakes. Eddie and Susie find themselves navigating an increasingly volatile empire as they're besieged on all fronts by an influx of enigmatic new players. Aaron Paul got his big break on the award-winning fan favorite series Breaking Bad , in which he starred alongside Oscar nominee and Emmy-winner, Bryan Cranston. The pair have remained friends, but Paul remembers a particularly cruel and hilarious prank that Cranston pulled on him while making the series. On a recent appearance on the hot wing talk show Hot Ones, Paul first praised his co-star, saying of Cranston, "He's the hardest worker in the room, the most lovable… but he's also the most immature I've ever met in my life. I say that with just love and respect, the list was endless." He went on, "I remember on Breaking Bad , he came out of the production office and came up to me and said, 'It's OK' and give me this long hug. I'm like, 'What are you doing?' He's like, 'At least you go out in a big way, huh?' And I'm like, 'What are you talking about?' He goes, 'Did you read the latest script?' I go, 'No.' He goes, 'Well, just read it, and I'm here if you need me.'' Paul continued, "So, I sprinted into the production office… of course, I go to the final pages [of the script] and nothing happened, I'm still around. But he just made it seem like I died. He would not stop. He would get everybody in on it, like the costume designers said, 'Hey we gotta do your measurements for the casket.'" Paul's character Jesse Pinkman got out of the series, not unscathed per se, but alive, and went on to star in the follow-up Netflix film, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie . Why Dollar Tree Stock Is Sinking Today
Dollar Tree published its fiscal Q1 results after the market closed yesterday and beat sales and earnings expectations. Despite Dollar Tree topping Wall Street's sales and earnings targets for Q1, its forward guidance is disappointing investors. Earnings will get a boost from stock buybacks, but the company's sales target for this year is prompting sell-offs for the stock. 10 stocks we like better than Dollar Tree › Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) stock is losing ground in Wednesday's trading following the company's recent quarterly report. The discount retailer's share price was down 8.5% as of 3 p.m. ET. After the market closed yesterday, Dollar Tree published results for the first quarter of its current fiscal year -- which ended May 3. The company posted sales and earnings for the period that beat Wall Street's expectations, but management's forward guidance suggested that tariff impacts will likely be a significant headwind. Dollar Tree reported non-GAAP (adjusted) earnings per share from continuing operations of $1.26 on sales of $4.64 billion in the first quarter. The performance came in significantly ahead of the average Wall Street analyst estimate, which had called for adjusted earnings per share of $1.21 on sales of $4.53 billion. Dollar Tree's revenue was up 11.3% year over year in the period, with same-store sales increasing 5.4% annually. The growth for same-store sales was driven by a 2.5% increase in customer traffic and a 2.8% increase for average ticket size. But even though the company delivered sales and earnings beats in Q1, investors aren't happy with the forward outlook. Dollar Tree reiterated its full-year guidance for sales to be between $18.5 billion and $19.1 billion. With the average analyst estimate calling for full-year sales of $18.95 billion, management's sales forecast disappointed investors. Dollar Tree did guide for adjusted full-year earnings to be between $5.15 per share and $5.65 per share, a prediction that came in ahead of the average Wall Street forecast's call for adjusted earnings of $5.21 per share for the year. On the other hand, the new earnings guidance reflects the impact of significant stock buybacks. Dollar Tree's sales guidance suggests that performance could soften, and investors are responding by selling the stock today.
