Jey Uso could face a familar foe with his World Heavyweight Championship on the line
On May 12th, 2025, the Monday Night RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, was informing Jey Uso about something before he came out to the ring. The reigning World Heavyweight Champion came out and YEETed with the fans on his way to the ring.
Uso began addressing his upcoming opponent at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, Logan Paul, and vowed to shut down the YouTuber for good.
However, he was interrupted by the arrival of his heated rival, Gunther. This was the first time Jey Uso and
Gunther
stood face to face in the ring since they collided at WrestleMania 41 and Uso made The Ring General tap out. Gunther believed that Uso was not able to go on as champion, but he gloated about being champion for 80% of his run.
The Ring General then dropped the bombshell on Jey Uso with a major announcement. He revealed that the winner of the Jey Uso vs Logan Paul match for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event will face him. Gunther added that RAW GM Adam Pearce has made the match official for the June 9th edition of Monday Night RAW, which is the show right after WWE's major Premium Live Event, Money in the Bank.

Should Jey Uso get past Logan Paul in two weeks, he will have to defend his title against Gunther. This could be Uso's chance to prove to the world that his WrestleMania win was no fluke and he had what it took to be at the top of the mountain.
