Sourav Ganguly to enter race for Cricket Association of Bengal presidential election
Former Indian captain and ex-BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is likely to contest for the President's post of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB). Ganguly confirmed to India Today that he will be submitting his nomination ahead of the Annual General Meeting (AGM).If Ganguly enters the race, he is expected to be elected unopposed. His potential return to CAB leadership follows the ineligibility of his elder brother and current CAB president, Snehasish Ganguly, due to the Lodha Committee's tenure CAB has finalised the dates for its AGM and elections.
