The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the application form correction dates for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. Interested candidates can now make changes to their online application forms on the official website ssc.gov.in from August 4 to 6, 2025. Earlier, the application correction window was expected to open today, July 29, 2025.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 4375 MTS posts and 1089 Havaldar posts. The computer-based examinations are scheduled to take place between September 20 and October 24, 2025.

SSC Stenographer City Intimation Slip 2025 Out: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the city intimation slip for the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination 2025. Registered candidates can download the slip and view their assigned exam city by logging in to the official website — — using their application number and password. The Commission gave option to candidates for their own scribe. They were asked to registered and submit the scribe's details on the Commission's website by August 2, 2025. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that the admit cards for the SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination 2025, along with the scribe entry passes, will be available for download approximately two to three days before the examination begins. Candidates can access both documents through the same login portal used to view their city intimation slips. In accordance with updated SSC guidelines, admit cards will be retained by the Commission during the exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to download and preserve a copy of their admit card for use in future stages of the selection process. The SSC Stenographer exam is scheduled to be conducted from August 6 to August 8, 2025. This year, the Commission has announced a total of 1,590 vacancies — including 230 positions for Grade 'C' and 1,360 for Grade 'D'. Meanwhile, SSC on Thursday released the vacancy list in various government departments and ministries. The SSC CGL list, however, does not mention the state and zone-wise vacancies, but it mentions the reservation on the basis of reservation. The list is tentative and might be revised after the final results are announced.

(ii) Father/husband's name (iii) Date of birth (iv) Category (Gen/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH/Minority) (v) Gender of the candidate. (vi) Educational qualifications (vii) Total marks obtained in the qualifying examination (viii) Ranking by which the merit is decided. (ix) Complete address (x) E-mail address Candidates will have the option to opt out of the disclosure of these details at the time of applying for a recruitment examination conducted by the commission. It added that the disclosed information will be valid for one year from the date of disclosure, and selection posts examinations will not be covered under this scheme. The scheme will take effect from the result declared by the commission from November 2024 onwards. "These non recommended candidates may be considered for their appointment by the user agencies i.e. PSUs, autonomous bodies etc." Such candidates need to preserve their application forms and other documents of the examination for three years, SSC said.
