Russian strategic bombers carry out scheduled flight over Barents Sea, TASS says

Two Russian TU-95M strategic bombers carried out a scheduled flight over international waters in the Barents Sea, which borders Norway, Russian state news agency TASS reported, citing the Defense Ministry.
TASS cited the ministry as saying that the planes had been escorted by flight planes belonging to an unnamed foreign country for part of the flight, which lasted more than four hours.

Two Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers conducted a routine flight over the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan, state-run TASS news agency reported on Thursday, citing the Russian Defense Ministry. The flight, which lasted for more than eight hours, saw the Russian aircraft being escorted by planes from other countries at certain stages, the ministry said. Strategic bomber planes, which form part of Russia's nuclear deterrent, have made flights in recent months over the Black and Baltic Seas and in the Arctic.
