Tovino Thomas
starrer 'Narivetta' is nearing the final stages of its theatrical run as its box office collections have started to taper off.
Although the Tovino Thomas starrer had a strong initial response, the film has witnessed a significant dip in its daily earnings over the past week.
According to the latest data from the Sacnilk website, the thriller film has earned a total of Rs 28.95 crore globally by the end of day 25.
Collections slide after initial momentum
Directed by Anuraj Manohar, 'Narivetta' had a promising start, boosted by the star power of Tovino Thomas and an ensemble cast including Suraj Venjaramoodu, Cheran, and Arya Salim.

However, the film's momentum slowed notably after the second weekend. On day 25, the film collected a mere Rs 9 lakhs, a sharp contrast to the early days when it was pulling in Rs 66 lakhs (day 15) and Rs 59 lakhs (day 14).
As of now, the film has earned Rs 18.13 crore from India net collections, contributing to an India gross total of Rs 18.8 crore. Overseas, 'Narivetta' managed a respectable Rs 10.15 crore.
No clear verdict yet
Interestingly, the box office tracking sources have not yet declared an official verdict on the film's commercial success. With a worldwide total of nearly Rs 29 crore, the film may fall short of being labeled a hit unless it performs well in its remaining days or gets a strong second wind through re-releases or digital streaming.

Strong performances, moderate reception
Though the film was praised for its performances—especially that of Tovino Thomas and Suraj Venjaramoodu—it appears that the content struggled to sustain long-term audience engagement. ETimes review for the film read, "Abin Joseph's script does not have the emotional and cinematic power of Nayattu, which is also about power play and creating scapegoats to take the fall, within the force and adminstration, and Anurag, too, hasn't effectively used the different characters.
Varghese gets his epiphany about the tribal issue too late into the story. Then, he goes through an overly dramatic transformation, which makes the storytelling feel fickle. And maybe the focus was too much building Varghese's character in the early part of the film, that the tribal issue felt a bit watered down. The main character would have been more effective as a voice of the agitation, rather than an outsider. Cinematographer Vijay has created a visual experience that is definitely big screen. And Jakes Bejoy has been killing it with his music."

IShowSpeed's viral Instagram DMs just got leaked, and the Internet can't stop talking about it
(Image via YouTube/@IShowSpeed) It's 2025, and nothing stays private on the internet for too long, especially if you're IShowSpeed. Recently, a bunch of his Instagram DMs started making the rounds online, and fans instantly hit panic (or popcorn) mode. But before you start judging or jumping to conclusions, here's the real tea. What Even Happened? On June 16, 2025, several Instagram DMs, supposedly from Speed's account, went viral. They showed him chatting up a girl — flirty banter, date plans, and even a wild 'I'm bricked ASF' message. And just like that, #IShowSpeedDMs started trending. But those messages weren't leaked in the shady, backstabby way we're used to seeing with celeb scandals. Turns out, Speed had already sent those DMs on stream . Yup, he did it live. With full chaos energy. Flashback to the Real Story To get the full context, we need to rewind to an October 2023 stream. During one of his chaotic live streams, Speed was hopping onto random TikTok lives looking for a date. That's when he stumbled upon Anya a.k.a. 'ChopperHatGirl', a girl wearing Tony Tony Chopper's hat from One Piece (which, fun fact, Speed once said 'saved his life'). It was instant anime-fueled chemistry. Speed told her she was beautiful, gushed over their shared love for One Piece , and asked her out right there . by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Honestly, peak Gen-Z romance. Banned Mid-Flirt?! But just when things were getting cute, TikTok straight-up banned him from the live, citing 'sexual activity and services.' Speed was visibly shocked and said: "What?! How did I get banned?! Sexual? What?! Chat... I didn't even show my me*t!" IShowSpeed Talking to A Girl on Stream.. (ChopperHatGirl) From TikTok Ban to Instagram Slide Mid-confusion and mid-rant, Speed turned to his chat and announced: 'Ay, chat, tell her I'm about to DM her on IG.' And he did exactly that. What followed was a full-on DM convo that started cute, then got intense fast. Speed introduced himself, flirted hard, and even shot his shot with: 'When can I take you out?' To which Anya replied: 'Whenever you want… I'll make time for you.' And then came the now-infamous line: 'I'm bricked ASF NGL, you wanna see?' She jokingly played along and said that: 'Take it slow, baby.' Then, Speed clapped back with: 'I can't, I'm Speed.' Were the DMs actually 'leaked'? Not really. Speed literally read them out and sent them during a live stream in 2023. The screenshots that surfaced now are basically just old convos resurfacing in 2025 internet drama fashion. Classic social media moment out of context and blown out of proportion.

The world's most famous museum, home to the Mona Lisa, is now shut. Take a look at its iconic masterpieces
For many, a trip to Paris isn't complete without stepping under the iconic glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum and witnessing masterpieces like the Mona Lisa or the Venus de Milo . But on Monday, instead of gazing at legendary artworks, thousands of confused tourists stood in long lines outside, tickets in hand, as the Louvre—the world's most-visited museum—unexpectedly shut its doors. The cause? A sudden and unannounced strike by museum staff, who say they're buckling under the pressure of overwhelming crowds, insufficient staffing, and poor working conditions, according to an Associated Press report. The strike erupted during an internal meeting, and by afternoon, gallery attendants, security, and ticketing agents had all walked off the job. The iconic glass pyramid entrance became a symbol not of awe, but of frustration, as tourists were left staring in disbelief. While the shutdown made global headlines, it's a moment that reminds us why the Louvre remains such a draw for millions each year. Housing more than 35,000 works of art, the Louvre is not just a museum—it's a living chronicle of human creativity and history. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Learn The Most Successful Intraday Strategy in Just 2 Hr. thefutureuniversity Learn More Undo Mona Lisa Among its crown jewels is Leonardo da Vinci 's Mona Lisa, famously enigmatic and technically masterful. From her legendary smile to the delicate sfumato technique that gives the painting its misty atmosphere, the Mona Lisa has fascinated visitors for centuries. Aphrodite, known as the Venus de Milo Then there's the Venus de Milo, discovered on the Greek island of Milos and gifted to the Louvre in 1821. With her missing arms and graceful posture, she became an instant icon of classical beauty and has remained a centrepiece ever since. The Winged Victory of Samothrace Standing tall at the top of the Daru staircase is The Winged Victory of Samothrace , a breathtaking sculpture that once overlooked an ancient Greek sanctuary. Captured in motion with billowing drapery and powerful wings, the statue represents Goddess Nike, the messenger of victory. The Pyramid The Louvre itself is a work of art. The famed Pyramid, designed by I.M. Pei, once controversial, now stands as one of Paris's most photographed landmarks. What many don't realise is that the museum has not one but five pyramids, including two smaller glass pyramids and an inverted pyramid that illuminates the underground entrance near the Carrousel shopping centre, as per the Louvre website. Great Sphinx of Tanis Delving even deeper into history, visitors encounter the Great Sphinx of Tanis, an ancient Egyptian sculpture symbolising divine power and protection. With the body of a lion and the face of a pharaoh, it was designed to guard sacred spaces—a fitting metaphor for the museum itself. Portrait of a Lady Also among the museum's priceless treasures is Leonardo's Portrait of a Lady, known as La Belle Ferronnière, a striking example of Renaissance portraiture that showcases Leonardo's unmatched ability to capture presence and personality. As per reports in the Associated Press, the museum might open on Wednesday.
