Case in point: the Samsung M7 smart monitor. On one hand, it serves as a second screen to extend your workspace. On the other, it serves as a fully capable smart TV. I have an older model of this monitor (the M5) and can enthusiastically say it's one of my best tech purchases. I'm not a huge fan of the retail price of $499.99, but as of May 28, it's down to just $379.99. That's 24% in savings and only $30 shy of its best price ever. While many tech purchases don't stand the test of time, I've had the older Samsung M5 smart monitor since 2021, and it's still in pristine condition. I've never had a single complaint, truly. I have a smaller, 27-inch model and have streamed plenty of episodes of New Girl on mine without issue. In fact, I used my Samsung monitor as my TV for a few weeks when I moved into my new place. If you're strapped for space and want a single screen for streaming and working, you won't be disappointed. It might even look better than my actual TV.
