The Voice's Sir Tom Jones sparks concern with fans after career announcement
Tom Jones, 85, has been inundated with messages of concern from his fans after he shared a post on his Instagram
The Voice coach Sir Tom Jones raised eyebrows among his followers after a June 17 Instagram post. The iconic vocalist, who recently celebrated his 85th birthday, is currently preparing for his tour across the UK and Europe.
He launched this thrilling chapter of his tour with an unforgettable performance at the historic Hampton Court Palace, where he mesmerised the crowd with his dynamic vocals and stage charisma.
While many fans were quick to laud his performance, several expressed worries about his well-being. In a heartfelt caption accompanying the post, Sir Tom conveyed his appreciation, writing: "Thank you to everyone who came to our @hcpfestival show last night to kick off our tour in style!" Reacting to this, one fan penned: "Please take care, that's a very long tour."
Another chimed in: "Again, congratulations on your 85th birthday. I love you and the boys. Don't understand why you need to tour so much."
They went on to say: "It's so taxing even on your hips, your knees, your feet. Stay home and enjoy life in London. You've worked hard enough," reports the Express.

Others echoed similar sentiments, with a third remarking: "Hi Tom, I hope you are doing good. Take care," and a fourth advising: "Love Sir Tom, take it easy on your tour."
A fifth added: "Good to see you, Sir Tom. Stay strong and healthy."
Sir Tom, who concluded the North American segment of his tour earlier this spring, had already encountered similar concerns from fans when he first revealed the tour back in January.
Despite some concerns, the iconic singer is showing no signs of hanging up his microphone. The Welsh legend, renowned for chart-toppers like Sex Bomb, had a heart-to-heart with his fellow The Voice coach Will.i.am, who couldn't contain his amazement at the enduring nature of the singer's career.
Will expressed his admiration, saying: "To see you here, still being that inspiration and still being active, is just mind-boggling."

Sir Tom Jones replied: "It is to me as well. As the years go on, you think, 'How long is this voice going to last?' I'm on stage and I open up and there it is and I think 'Is that voice coming from me?' and that's the God's honest truth, you know. I'm 84 this year."
Sir Tom has unequivocally dismissed any speculation about exiting The Voice. His recent co-star Anne Marie spoke about the music veteran's outlook on the future.
In a conversation with Express.co.uk and other media, the 2002 hitmaker disclosed: "He feels like every time he does a show, he said to us. Because I was like, 'Are you bored? Are you done?'

Seventies TV star who shocked by posing naked for Playboy is unrecognizable as she's spotted in LA – can you guess who?
AN American TV icon who went from wholesome TV sister in the 70s to a sexy siren posing for Playboy in the 80s has been spotted on a day out in Los Angeles. The actress, 67, was seen embracing the heat in a summer dress during an errands run by her home, and still has effortless chic as she strolled in a pair of shades. 5 Judy became a massive star in the smash hit The Waltons in the 70s Credit: 5 The actress grew up on screen thanks to the show - but later tried to shed her image Credit: Getty 5 The Waltons followed the trials of the Walton family through the depression and WWII Credit: Getty Judy Norton shot to fame as Mary Ellen Walton in The Waltons from 1972 to 1981, becoming the sister figure for millions who tuned in every week to watch her. The Waltons followed the titular family – an expansive Virginia clan including Jason (Jon Walmsley), Erin (Mary Beth McDonough), Ben (Eric Scott), Elizabeth (Kami Cotler), Jim-Bob (David W. Harper), John Sr. (Ralph White), Olivia (Michael Learned) and Esther (Ellen Corby) – as they navigate the Great Depression era and World War II. As Mary Ellen, Judy appeared in all 212 episodes of the show's nine-season run, playing the oldest daughter of John and Olivia. Starting off as a tomboy figure in her younger years, Mary Ellen dreamed of a life away from the Walton Mountain before later pursuing a career as a nurse. But after the show ended, Judy was keen to shake off the image she had made during her nine years on screen, and in 1985 stripped off for Playboy Magazine. However, it was a decision she would later admit regretting, telling Fox News: 'I was getting a lot of advice from people who were representing me at the time. 'They felt it would be a good, positive career move. I wouldn't say that was the case and it's one of those things that if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have made the choice.' "I learned a lot of lessons from it, in terms of trusting my own instincts and decisions more than other people's, even though it seemed like they knew more than me,' she added. 'Ultimately, I'm the one that had to live with a difficult decision to make at the time. It is what it is. You can only go forward.' Since appearing in The Waltons, Judy has continued her career as an actress, appearing in episodes of TV series including Bluff, Beggars and Chooser, Stargate SG-1 and Disorganized Zone. Legendary Emmy-winning actress looks unrecognisable as she speaks about life-saving role She also reprised her role of Mary Ellen in a string of TV Movie Specials throughout the 90s, including A Walton Wedding, A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion and Mother's Day on Walton's Mountain. In 2020, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Judy brought some entertainment to fans by joining forces with a group of former child stars for Zoom-based sitcom, The Quarantine Bunch. Based around a 'support group for former child stars' each episode would see former child stars, including Growing Pains' Jeremy Miller, Danny Pintauro from Who's The Boss and Due South's Dean McDermott, log in to the 'meeting' in order to navigate life together. While she hasn't been seen on screen since 2022 short movie Space Limbo, she's now lining up a new project – writing and starring in drama Shoot Like A Girl, which is currently in pre-production. 5 Judy has now penned her own story, Shoot Like A Girl Credit:

Romeo Beckham's ex Kim Turnbull breaks silence on Brooklyn feud and 'scapegoat lies'
Kim Turnbull has released a statement on social media after she was dragged into the ongoing Beckham family feud and she was said to have dated Brooklyn before he met Nicola Romeo Beckham's former flame Kim Turnbull has finally broken silence on her alleged romance with Brooklyn amid the ongoing family rift. Kim is reportedly at the centre of the feud that has seen Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz become distant from the rest of the clan. The 26-year-old model and DJ is rumoured to have been involved with Brooklyn prior to meeting billionaire heiress Nicola, 30, as they used to be pals. After enduring weeks of speculation concerning her past with Brooklyn, Kim declared she was "embarrassed by the lies" and felt compelled to break her silence. As Romeo's alleged partner, Kim was a fixture in the Beckham's close-knit circle, reports the Mirror, even attending David's 50th birthday bash which Brooklyn and Nicola notably skipped. This month however marked the end of Romeo and Kim's contentious relationship. In a bold move, Kim addressed the family turmoil that has overshadowed the news of David's knighthood this weekend, as his eldest son remains aloof from the celebration. Kim took to Instagram to voice her frustration: "I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on." She added firmly: "I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative." Addressing speculation about a romantic link with Brooklyn, Kim stated: "I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. "I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation and set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved." Kim was recently thrust into the limelight amid rumours surrounding the Beckham family, with rumours suggesting Brooklyn had swirling doubts over her intentions towards his brother Romeo. Rumours had circulated that Brooklyn and Kim shared a teenage romance, yet Cruz Beckham refuted these claims in a recently removed Instagram post, followed now by Kim's own denial. The gossip mill began after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola were notably absent from David's 50th birthday celebrations last month, leading to conversations that Brooklyn believed his parents favoured Romeo, drawing Kim into the controversy. Reportedly after seven months, Kim's liaison with Romeo waned three weeks subsequent to David reaching his milestone birthday. Kim's decisive words come following Brooklyn's pointed omission of his father on Father's Day. The newly knighted David honoured his offspring, Romeo, Cruz and Harper with an affectionate social media post, which seemed to allude to strained relations with Brooklyn. Captioning the photo, he remarked: "My most important and favourite job in life is being a dad... I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy ( sorry boys ) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what.. "Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad... Happy Father's Day... I love you kiddies more than you could imagine." He also posted a picture with Brooklyn, enjoying a glass of red wine, captioned: "I love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham." However, Brooklyn did not acknowledge his father on this special day, maintaining his silence. Nicola also omitted any mention of her father-in-law but did honour her own dad. On Instagram, alongside a photo with her father, she penned: "Happy Father's Day to the greatest dad in the world. I am so lucky to be your daughter I love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for always being my constant support. I love you beyond words. Happy Father's Day dad."

Now a haunting two-part drama is in the works covering the devastating riots that followed. Irish actor Jonas Armstrong will lead the project, which has a working title of Rooted Out. He said: 'There were riots in the UK two summers ago because a few girls were murdered by a young man over in Southport, which is just across the water from where I am. 'Riots were kicking off throughout the country and loads of people were arrested and there was a lot of anger and frustration going on. 'This is the backdrop of that. 'The character I play is Oxford-educated and now is a university lecturer at the London School Of Economics.' Production will begin this month, Jonas said, and will make up two 90-minute parts which will air on a streaming platform like Netflix. Real life horrors are increasingly looked at by TV execs, with titles including Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story and David Tennant's Des on Dennis Nilsen and Little Boy Blue on the murder of Rhys Jones. The actor, who is best known as Robin Hood in the BBC's 2006 series, shared more on the project's direction on podcast Lament of Hope, adding: 'I spoke to the writer and director and I said 'Why did you think of me?' and he said 'Because this breaks down racial bias, social bias, stereotypes, northern bias'.' Shocking new footage shows yobs hurl bricks & bottles at police as 3 more thugs jailed David: I'll never say dye He may have been on our screens for over two decades now, but David Walliams isn't worried about looking like his Little Britain days by dyeing his hair. The comedian, and former Britain's Got Talent judge, revealed he's turned down offers from his hairdresser to touch up his greying barnet. 5 David Walliams says he's happy to go grey and won't dye his hair despite offers from his hairdresser Credit: Alamy He said: 'Someone offered to dye my hair the other day and I thought, 'That is a slippery slope' isn't it? Dyeing your hair and then dyeing your beard, it is weird. 'A hairdresser said, 'Oh do you want me dye it?' I was like 'No, you end up like Jimmy.' But his Come Fly With Me co-star Matt Lucas, who lost his hair due to alopecia, joked to the Making A Scene podcast he'd love a new 'do. He told David that if he could have hair, he'd opt for long curly locks like Brian May or 1980s Arsenal player, Charlie Nicholas. A Prime Video documentary will take a closer look at the brutal murders of four university students in 2022 in Idaho, America. Told by those involved and affected by the crime, the series will explore the impact and fallout of the killings. One Night In Idaho will stream from July 11.
