Growing longer, healthier hair is a goal for many. Let's face it, locks that look thin and fragile can often shatter our confidence. With haircare a major trend these days, there are so many growth products on the market that promise results. If you don't want to wade through them all, we know one shoppers say "works like magic" - and it costs under £14 a bottle. On Amazon, the Minimalist Hair Growth Actives Serum has earned almost 5,000 global reviews from delighted customers. Costing just £13.99 for a 30ml, it's significantly cheaper than other products currently on the high street . Read more: Amazon cuts 25% off 'game changing' hair mask that is 'better than K18 and Olaplex' Read more: Amazon users 'blown away' by £27 hair growth oil that works 'in a few weeks' This serum uses a highly concentrated formula, boasting 18 per cent worth of powerful hair growth active peptides and extracts that make it "one of the most potent anti hair fall and hair growth serums on the market." Designed to effectively stop hair fall within as little as four weeks, it can be used everyday to prevent hair loss and stimulate new growth. Ingredients such as capixyl, redensyl, procapil, anagain, and baicapil help your hair to look "thicker" and "voluminous." It's also suitable to be used on all hair types , even those who struggle with the pesky oily scalp and dry ends dilemma. It can also be used daily without much fuss, as you just need to apply it to a clean scalp in the evening before bed. As of writing, 2,305 Amazon shoppers have left the Minimalist Hair Growth Actives Serum a glowing five-star review, as they say it "works like charm" and that they have noticed a "reduction" in hair loss within a few weeks. One positive review read: " Effective product , really works well. I have noticed reduction in my hair loss.... And strength of hair increased." A second impressed shopper said: "100 per cent recommended. I have completed three bottles. OMG! This serum is excellent. Please try it out. It's slightly oily. "For dry scalp, it would take 2 times application to make scalp slightly oily but for oily scalp, you might feel slightly oily from first use. But it works like magic. I can see baby hair. Value for the money. Totally recommended." Someone else added: "Lightweight, saw growth within 4 weeks. Absolutely amazing, especially for that price." A repeat purchaser said: "One of my fave products to go back to every time! I don't know how many times I have re-purchased it. This is simply one of the best products for hair care targeting hair fall and hair growth. I started seeing the result within 2-3 weeks of using it. It is one of the staple products of my haircare range." And another wrote: "Works like a charm. Tried many products, but none worked, finally found something which actually was up to the mark. "As promised, the hair fall reduced greatly within two weeks, I can feel the shine and thickness in my hair already within 4 weeks. Just apply in the night in scalp and wash it off in the morning, the only condition is scalp must be clean before applying. Go for it." It didn't seem to work for everyone, as one shopper who branded it as "average" wrote: "For me personally, this one didn't do any good neither did it do any harm, my hair fall did not reduce nor did I grow new hair strands." Try out the Minimalist Hair Growth Actives Serum (30ml) yourself by purchasing it for £13.99 on Amazon here . UKLASH, the firm behind the viral eyelash growth serum, also offers its own Hair Growth Serum (50ml) that costs £40. Backed by science, this powerful formula "works harder than ever before to repair, protect and promote healthy hair growth." If you're not keen on a serum or oil type formula, then a suitable alternative could be the Hairburst Volume & Growth Elixir (125ml) that can be sprayed on either wet or dry hair. Costing £16 at Boots, this spray promotes volume, reduces hair loss and can protect against UV damage.

I transformed a £10.50 Aldi buy into a ‘jaw-dropping' garden feature & people think it's ‘really impressive'

So if you want to add some style to your garden for spring but your purse is feeling tighter than ever before, then you've come to the right place. 3 3 3 Laura Trott, a savvy DIY fan from the UK, used bargain buys from Amazon and Home Bargains to give an Aldi planter a new lease of life. Rather than put a plant in the planter, Laura made her own faux fish pond - and we think it looks fabulous. Eager to show off her DIY creation, Laura took to social media, sharing a breakdown of the costs of her purse-friendly project. Posting on BARGAIN LOVERS Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range & More, a public Facebook group with 835,300 members, Laura uploaded snaps of the Aldi planter, which she transformed with faux fish, a faux lily pad, a solar water fountain and stones. Alongside her post, Laura penned: 'I turned this £10 Aldi UK planter into a faux fish pond.' The bargain hunter confirmed that she nabbed the planter from Aldi for £10.50, which she filled with faux fish that she ordered from Amazon for £5.99. As well as this, she also added in a lily pad which she got from Amazon for £3.50 and also completed the feature with a solar water fountain, which was also from Amazon for £18.50. Laura explained that you can buy solar water fountains from just £8 online, but she opted for a slightly more expensive one that lights up at night. As well as this, she also added in stones that she got for just £4.50 from Home Bargains. While many garden features similar to this retail anywhere from £56 to £180 online, Laura spent just £42.99 in total on hers, making her DIY project a real steal. Mrs Hinch raves about £2 Home Bargains buy that 'adds charm to your garden' & a £10 product that's 'cheaper than Amazon' And it's clear that Laura's faux fish pond has left many very impressed, as her post has quickly racked up 1,100 likes and 512 comments. Tricyrtis A spectacular plant that gives a real exotic feel to any garden with its orchid-like, spotted flowers giving the impression that this plant should be tender but it is 'as tough as old boots!'. Penstemon I love this plants genus of because most will flower all summer and autumn. They'll grow in sun or semi-shade in a well drained soil and produce a non-stop display of tubular flowers in an array of colours and colour combination to suit all tastes. Luzula sylvatica 'Marginata' With the evergreen leaves edged with yellow it's great asset is that it will grow in sun or shade in any type of soil and is great as groundcover in the hardest spot to fill - dry shade. Eryngium x zabelii 'Big Blue' A stunning, nectar-rich plant that will feed the beneficial insects in your garden. Leave the flowerheads once they have turned brown because they look stunning with winter frost and snow, extending the plant's interest period. Sarcococca hookeriana 'Winter Gem' If you need winter scent then look no further than this compact, evergreen shrub. The scent is stunning and the evergreen leaves create an excellent backdrop for the summer flowers. Cornus sanguinea 'Anny's Winter Orange' A dwarf version of 'Midwinter Fire' the very colourful stems create a stunning winter display, particularly on sunny days. Rosa 'Noisette Carnee' A very well-behaved climbing rose that is perfect for training over an arch, pergola or gazebo. The small, 'noisette' flowers are blush-pink and produce the most amazing clove scent constantly from June to November. Sanguisorba hakusanensis 'Lilac Squirrel' I've never seen a squirrel with a drooping, shaggy lilac tail, but this variety will give your garden an unusual and different look throughout summer. It does need a moisture retentive soil but will grow in sun or semi-shade.

One review said they like the product, but they are unsure if they can see the benefit yet. They said: "There is a lot of points I found to good to be true about this product, The portable size, the fact it only needs 1 charge to last 4 or 5 months! and that its designed for both sensitive and oily skin types. That sounds all well as good. However i i'm starting to question if this is something that genuinely does anything to my skin. It definitely feels nice on the skin however I have not seen much of a difference in the long term affects and the feeling straight after use." Another reviewer who bought the product for their girlfriend, said: "I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend for Christmas. Lads, if your girl likes beauty products and you're not sure what to get, this is it. "While neither of us are 100% sure on it's effectiveness long term, the short term results are very positive, her skin is less oily and she's developed fewer blackheads (much to her shagrin as she likes popping them). The way it vibrates and feels on the skin is akin to a little face massage every morning, I've even used it a few times and found it very therapeutic. The vibration is strong but not unpleasant, and helps relax the face muscles while your moisturizer helps keep your skin feeling fresh." Harness the power of two powerhouse ingredients, with this two-in-one serum that's 54 percent less on Amazon. Reducing the appearance of wrinkles is a high priority for many skincare buffs. With an assortment of anti-aging products on the market, it can be hard to know what actually works. For anyone not wanting to test out a myriad of products, then one that is said to be "clinically proven to reverse five years worth of wrinkles" is the bestselling L'Oréal Paris Age Defying Serum Le Duo (30ml). This two-in-one serum, which usually retails at a whopping £37.99, has been dropped on Amazon to just £17.39, saving 54 percent off the RRP. Considering rival Boots still stocks it at full price, it's a deal not to be missed. Unlike similar products on the market, this one harnesses the power of two serums, offering double the ingredients to expertly target wrinkles, firmness, and radiance. On one side there is a collagen peptide booster that works to help "rebuild firmness", while the other uses vitamins B3 and C to "reignite radiance and even skin tone with two powerhouse vitamins." Its scent makes up a "beautiful bouquet of white flowers", with top notes of tangerine, violet and rosewood being mixed with heart notes of gardenia, mimosa, red fruits and ylang-ylang. The scent then finishes on "vibrant yet muted" base notes of ambergris, precious woods, musks and vanilla.
