Missing woman last seen near Hyde Park three months ago spotted in London pub
A woman who was reported missing in March has mysteriously reappeared in a London pub three months after she was last seen.
Portia Vincent-Kirby, from Finchley, vanished en route to Victoria Station after an evening with friends in Hyde Park on February 21.
She was then spotted out of the blue in the Blind Beggar pub in Whitechapel on May 14, but has not been seen since.
Her bank cards and passport have not been used since March 3, and her phone has also not pinged since this then.
Pictures from the pub show Portia smiling and wearing a faux fur cossack hat.
She is described as slim with blue eyes and shoulder-length dyed blonde hair.
The 33-year-old is also known to often wear baseball caps.
Portia's devastated family are appealing for more information about where she might be.
Metro spoke to her brother, Max, in March after her family reported her missing.
He criticised the police over their approach to her being missing and urged them to be more proactive with her case.
He told Metro: 'It took two weeks after she was reported missing just for them to release a picture of her.
'We have heard very little from them, it's been left to us to find her. All we have been told is her bank cards haven't been used – which isn't good.' More Trending
In an updated statement from police last night, her mum, Janina, said: 'We are all very worried as Portia is very vulnerable. Portia has not been in contact with or seen by any family or friends since February.
'We appeal to the public for anyone to please come forward if they know anything about her or her whereabouts. We also appeal to Portia directly, please get in touch with any of your family or friends.'
PC Harjinder Kang, from the Met's north west missing persons unit, added: 'We are growing increasingly concerned for Portia's safety, as this behaviour is out of character for her. We urge anyone who may have seen her to contact police.
'Officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries in an effort to trace her and we are now turning to the public for help. Please get in touch if you can help us locate Portia.'

Mike Rydings, then 47, went to the Spanish resort of Benidorm with 30 mates. After a night of enjoying a few pints at a pub and watching the 2018 World Cup, he fell victim to a brutal attack. The group were taking in the sights of the Avenue de Mallorca strip and had just left the Hippodrome Bar when the lifelong Manchester United supporter lost contact with his friends. In the early hours of June 23, Mike, a builder from Wythenshawe, was assaulted. His nose was broken and he fell onto the ground, hitting his head and sustaining severe head trauma. Mike spent a month unconscious in hospital, with his then-pregnant daughter Hayley and sister Nicola flying out to be by his side as he lay connected to ventilator machines. Mike had travelled to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and watch the 2018 World Cup (Image: PA ) Article continues below After being flown back to Salford Royal Hospital, Mike spent the remaining year of his life unable to move or speak, in a vegetative state and requiring round-the-clock care. He tragically passed away in August of 2019, he was only 48. His attacker has never been found. Despite the incident sparking an inquiry by the local Spanish authorities no witness statements or police investigations have ever brought Mike's attacker to justice. Speaking on what would have been his 54th birthday, Mike's daughter Hayley said the family has spent years in the dark and "unable to have closure without answers" as they issued another desperate plea for information. Hayley told the Manchester Evening News: "You can't ever really move on, because you don't have any answers. It's been years and we haven't been told anything. "At the time, there were so many different witness stories. At one point we were told it was a stag party and someone in camouflage clothing. Then we were told it was a bouncer. "One stated that, the night he was attacked, my dad had a drink and was seen backing off with his hands in the air when he was punched to the nose, which broke, and then he fell backwards onto his head. They said they have never been able to get the sound of him hitting the ground out of their head." Back in the UK, the Greater Manchester Police conducted meticulous inquiries, pulling in over 15 British holiday-goers who witnessed the attack. The Hippodrome bar on Avenue de Mallorca in Benidorm Detectives have described the suspect in the assault on Mike as a white male, in his 20s or 30s, with a larger than average build, between 5ft 7ins and 6ft tall, and possibly wearing in camouflage clothing. Hayley, 36, recalled the harrowing moment she found out: "My dad's partner at the time got the call from one of his friends to tell her what had happened. When you hear that, you still never think it will be as bad as what we walked into." "When I first saw him in the hospital and he was lying there with tubes everywhere it was so painful I had to walk back out. "I was pregnant with one of my daughters, and I flew out the next day with my partner. Between me and Nicola his sister we kept going back and forth to make sure he was never on his own. It was so hard on us all. I had a young child at the time too, so it was really difficult." Mike was eventually flown home and admitted to Salford Royal Hospital. Hayley explained that despite surviving until the following August, he was unable to move or speak, making her feel as though she had 'already lost him' before his life support was withdrawn. Hayley added: "My dad never got to hold her or touch my daughter because he was in hospital. In 2022, I had a son which would have been his only grandson. He had always wanted a grandson." Greater Manchester Police confirmed there had been no updates in the case, which remains in the hands of Spanish authorities. Lee Rigby was beheaded outside a Royal Artillery barracks in London twelve years ago. His death in Woolwich, South East London, sent shock waves across the nation. The 25-year-old was a drummer in the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Advertisement He was returning to Woolwich barracks after working at the Tower of London when he was spotted by his killers in Wellington Street at around 2.20pm. Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale had circled the barracks in a blue Vauxhall Tigra for an hour hunting for a victim. As Lee crossed the road, the pair spotted his Help 4 Heroes hoodie and mowed him down in the car. The killers then leapt out of the vehicle and began stabbing and hacking at Lee's body with knives and a meat cleaver in an assault so fierce they almost decapitated him. Advertisement Then they dragged his body into the road, where brave passer-by Ingrid Loyau-Kennett tried to shield him from further blows. Adebolajo told onlookers to call the police and urged them to film him as he launched into a rant, his hands soaked in Lee's blood. The pair waited for armed cops to arrive, then charged at the patrol car hoping to be martyred. They were both shot and injured. The viral trend sees Tiktokers play the Apple Pay 'ding' sound next to a stranger's phone, saying 'thank you' and walking away. This leaves the victim of the prank thinking they have had money taken from them. One influencer, F Boogie, walked up to a tourist on the River Thames and pretended to take £1,000 from them. But the tourist, enraged at the thought he had so much money taken from him, physically restrained the Tiktoker. A plainclothed police officer then arrived at the scene, and handcuffed F Boogie who shouts: 'Oh my hand bruv, my hand, you've f***ed up my hand.' The prank does not cause any financial or physical harm, but it can leave victim's distressed and confused. Users who are choosing to pull the prank on someone, pretend to make a contactless payment with their phone against someone else's. The prank is complete with the classic Apple Pay 'ding' and a a graphic on the user's phone signifying payment has been complete. Pranksters tend to say 'thank you' at the end to really ham home the act and get a reaction out of their victim. Some commenters beneath the videos have said it is cruel, and is only being done for Tiktok hits. Londoners will be pleased to know that money can never be taken from them from someone else's phone. Apple Pay requires authorization and a payment terminal. So phones are unable to transfer funds just by touching. Metro has contacted the Met Police for comment.
