Bucks Make 'Very Crucial' Giannis Antetokounmpo Decision Amid Trade Rumors
There has been a lot of talk surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo's future with the Milwaukee Bucks. All the buzz started after the Bucks suffered another disappointing first-round exit at the hands of the Indiana Pacers in this year's NBA playoffs.
All of a sudden, a lot of questions were asked as to whether or not the two-time MVP's future is still in Milwaukee, or if Antetokounmpo is not set to move on to greener pastures.

Several teams around the league have already been linked to a potential blockbuster trade for the nine-time All-Star, who is currently still under contract with the Bucks through 2028. For his part, it has been reported that for the first time in his career, Antetokounmpo "is open-minded about exploring whether his best long-term fit is remaining in Milwaukee or playing elsewhere."

NBA insider Chris Haynes dropped a bombshell report on Saturday about how the Bucks have reacted to these recent developments. According to the renowned reporter, Milwaukee's front office has already set a meeting with their cornerstone superstar.
"I was told the Bucks made contact with Giannis Antetokounmpo earlier this morning and sources relate to me that a meeting is expected to be scheduled for mid-next week," Haynes said. "This is where Giannis is going to have the chance to speak with Bucks brass and talk about the direction of the team.

"... This is going to be a very, very crucial meeting next week."
The Bucks' intentions on Antetokounmpo remain unclear at this point. It is worth noting that the eight-time All-NBA forward signed a massive three-year max extension with the team in 2023, which has him locked up through 2028.
Antetokounmpo's deal has a player option in the final year of his contract, which means the earliest he can part ways with the Bucks as a free agent would be after the 2026-27 season.
The only way Antetokounmpo leaves Milwaukee this summer is via a trade, which is likely going to be discussed in this upcoming sit-down. However, whether or not Antetokounmpo and the Bucks will be open to the idea of a divorce, or if they plan to work things out with the objective of winning another championship together, remains to be seen.

JJ Spaun wins 2025 US Open with incredible back-nine capped by 64-foot birdie putt
J.J. Spaun has powered through the tough course conditions, terrible weather and heat of competition to win the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club on Sunday. Spaun, who turned pro in 2012 and has just one PGA Tour win under his belt, has captured his first major of his career at a course that consumed some of the game's biggest stars. He did so in dramatic fashion, too, as Spaun closed the door with a birdie at the 18th, a long, winding putt from 64 feet to secure the victory. It was the longest putt made by anyone in the field over four rounds. Spaun shot 66-72-69-72 to finish his week as the only player under par at Oakmont. This is a developing story. More to come.

Rafael Devers trade grades: Who won the surprising Red Sox-Giants deal?
When the Boston Red Sox acquired Alex Bregman to be the starting third baseman, they had hoped that Rafael Devers would be open to the move to designated hitter. Instead, Devers openly complained about the move to DH and started the season on a near-historic slump. And though Devers' numbers have recovered since the beginning of the season, the Red Sox clearly felt the current situation with Bregman and Devers was untenable. That's what brought us to the shocking news on Sunday. Advertisement The Red Sox are trading Devers to the San Francisco Giants, according to multiple reports. Let's get into the details and grades. Details of the Giants-Red Sox trade GIANTS GET: Rafael Devers RED SOX GET: Jordan Hicks, Kyle Harrison, James Tibbs and Jose Bello. Giants grade: The whole thing with Devers was that he wanted to play third base and evidently caused issues within the Red Sox once that wasn't going to happen. Matt Chapman is temporarily out with his hand injury, so Devers will get his wish, sure. But after that, what's to say that he won't cause the Giants issues once relegated to DH again? The Giants will also absorb the remainder of the $313.5 million contract that will run until Devers is 36. That's a huge risk to take on a player who wasn't living up to the contract with his previous club. If the Giants can make it work with Devers, though, he'll be a huge addition. Advertisement GRADE: C Red Sox grade The Red Sox clearly had bigger problems with Devers that went beyond the on-field performance. So, they went into these negotiations with little leverage, and the return showed that. Jordan Hicks — despite having an electric fastball — has been regressing each season since 2023. He was recently moved to the Giants bullpen due to his struggles (6.47 ERA), and he hasn't pitched in two weeks. Tibbs was the Giants' first-round pick last year and has power-hitting upside. But he's still years away from a potential MLB call-up. Harrison's rough outing against the Rockies also won't inspire confidence has a high-upside return. Basically, the Red Sox wanted to shed that contract and move on from Devers. They didn't really care about a huge return.
