On Monday, August 11, the late princess's niece Lady Kitty Spencer gave fans a glimpse of her Hamptons vacation, complete with plenty of twinning style moments with her rarely-seen lookalike daughter Athena—as well as a first glimpse of the toddler's face.
Even among the royal family, Lady Kitty is known for being very private about her daughter, whom she welcomed in 2023. The British socialite kept her new arrival under wraps until debuting Athena and announcing her birth for the first time in a surprise Mother's Day post last year. Since then, Athena's social media appearances have been few and far between, but Kitty has slowly been scaling up her mom-daughter appearances in recent weeks. Shortly after twinning with her mini-me in purple-and white-printed Dolce & Gabbana dresses in Florence on July 24, she showed off several matching mommy-and-me ensembles while soaking up some 'happiness in the Hamptons.'
In a Hamptons photo dump, little Athena could be seen wearing her long blonde hair in a deep side part with a purple bow. While she looked down, partially obscuring her features, Athena's pink cheeks and nose could be seen in the candid image as she reached for something in front of her. The toddler wore a cream knit Ralph Lauren sweater with an American flag on it, matching her mom, who wore an adult-sized version of the sweater, a pair of ubtly distressed cutoff jean shorts, and black oval sunglasses.
Kitty kept the twinning style going while taking inspiration from the quintessential Nancy Meyers-coded aesthetic. In photos and videos taken from their New England getaway, the mother-daughter pair could be seen from behind wearing their blonde hair in effortless ponytails as they sported effortless cotton sundresses and gingham-printed rompers. Holding a baby doll in her arms, Athena could also be seen walking through some gardens, hanging out at the beach, and splashing in the ocean.

A Canadian animal rescue thought of a clever way to draw attention to their adoptable pets. Dubbed the "Slang Litter," six puppies went viral for their Gen alpha-inspired names, including one named "Ohio," who is the only puppy that has been adopted. The description, written in true Gen Alpha fashion, describes the mixed breeds puppies as "a squad of pups who are all vibes, no cap, and 100% ready to make your home feel like a trend." If you want to adopt the pups for yourself, Funds for Furry Friends only allows animals to be adopted in person and won't ship puppies. The charity is located in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, which is about 1,150 miles from Ohio's northwest corner, per Google Maps.
