Local dog park hosts Easter egg hunt for pups
BAZETTA, Ohio (WKBN) — Pups and their owners got to enjoy some Easter fun on Sunday.
The Friends of Mosquito Lake Dog Park hosted their third annual Doggy Easter Egg Hunt. 90 dogs were signed up across two sessions Sunday morning and afternoon.
Organizers scattered over 3,000 eggs around the park filled with treats and tickets to win prizes.
'This is just so dogs have something to enjoy Easter with. Like the Easter egg hunts for the kids, we decided to have an Easter egg hunt for the dogs,' said Ugo Scarnecchia with Friends of Mosquito Lake Dog Park.
'We had an excellent time, everybody here is very friendly. The dogs are well-behaved, we just had a super time,' said attendee Susan DeCaro with her dog Pepper.
The pups also got to pose for photos with the Easter Bunny.
