Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal reunite for nostalgic ‘When Harry Met Sally' Super Bowl ad
More than three decades after When Harry Met Sally became a rom-com classic, Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal have reunited for a nostalgic Super Bowl commercial.
The ad, created for Hellmann's mayonnaise, brings the duo back to the iconic Katz's Deli, the setting of the film's legendary 'I'll have what she's having' scene.
This time, however, the ad features a fresh twist. Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney joins Ryan and Crystal, adding a new dynamic to the beloved moment. The 30-second spot captures Ryan's Sally enthusiastically enjoying a turkey sandwich with mayo, while Crystal's Harry watches in amusement—mirroring the famous scene from the 1989 film.
'It smells exactly like it did 36 years ago when we made it,' Crystal recalled, reminiscing about returning to Katz's Deli. 'It was so much fun to be out there at the same table.'

Sweeney steps in to deliver the classic punchline originally spoken by director Rob Reiner's mother, Estelle. Excited to be part of the moment, Sweeney called working with Ryan and Crystal 'an honor,' describing When Harry Met Sally as 'a rom-com classic.' Ryan also praised Sweeney, saying, 'She is game and funny. Has terrific ideas. Not intimidated—respectful, silly, and adorable.'
The ad also evoked memories for Ryan of her late co-star Carrie Fisher, who played Sally's best friend, Marie, in the original film. Reflecting on their friendship, Ryan shared, 'I had a long friendship with Carrie. We were pregnant at the same time.'
Despite the enduring love for When Harry Met Sally, Crystal remains firm that a sequel is unnecessary. 'We felt, why? They worked so hard for 12 years to get to happily ever after that that's where they should be,' he said. 'To me, they're still together.'
With this Super Bowl commercial, fans get a taste of the timeless charm of When Harry Met Sally, proving that Harry and Sally's story still resonates—even with a little mayo and a laugh.

NFL Madden 26 Cover: Saquon Barkley lands cover with 99 rating, the internet has its say
EA Sports has named Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley the cover athlete for Madden NFL 26, honouring a landmark season that included a Super Bowl title, 2,005 rushing yards and a viral moment that seemed lifted straight from the video game itself. Barkley, 28, is only the ninth player in NFL history to surpass the 2,000-yard mark in a single season. He also became the newest member of the elite 'Madden 99 Club,' the game's highest rating tier, and the latest player to front the iconic franchise. The cover reveal was accompanied by a now-iconic image: Barkley mid-air, performing a reverse hurdle over Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones during a Week 9 clash. The move—executed while Barkley had his back turned to the defender—was widely circulated online and lauded as one of the season's most jaw-dropping plays. 'Saquon's reverse hurdle was one of the rare, defining moments in NFL history that would have once been described as 'something out of a video game,'' said Evan Dexter, vice president of franchise strategy and marketing for EA Sports Madden NFL. In a promotional video released with the announcement, Barkley reflected on the journey from gamer to cover athlete. 'This last season's been everything,' he said. 'Win the Super Bowl, create iconic moments. It starts with imagination — being a kid, having those moments, playing video games and saying, 'Why can't I do it in real life?'' The former New York Giants star credited his new team's culture for fuelling his breakout campaign. Barkley was a key contributor in the Eagles' title run and tallied 15 total touchdowns over the course of the season. EA Sports stated the upcoming edition of Madden NFL would offer its most realistic simulation yet. 'It's a display of the athleticism and creativity of one of football's most electrifying athletes,' Dexter said. The game is set to release on 14 August 2025, with pre-orders now open. 'Starring on the cover of Madden NFL 26 and being named to the Madden NFL 99 Club are both dreams come true,' Barkley said. 'I'm grateful to my teammates, coaches and Eagles fans for their support, and I can't wait to hit the field again to give Madden players more highlight-reel moments.' For Philadelphia fans, all that remains now is to hope the fabled 'Madden Curse' doesn't strike. NFL fans on X (formerly Twitter) have been reacting to the news, with many naming alternatives they believe should've become cover athlete instead. I wish he wasn't on it bc I believe in the curse but it was too perfect. 26 on 26 — 🦅 RUN IT BACK🦅 (LIX Champs💍💍) (@RollPhillyDawgz) June 2, 2025 How does he deserve it over Lamar — bossman (@thyonlybossman) June 2, 2025 Congrats to Saquon in advance to being the first Eagles player to break the Madden curse!!! — 🔥 CEO Branding Expert (@Ceo_Branding) June 2, 2025 Who's the poor soul he's hurdling — VGhostface Killa 🐝 (@VGKBetta) June 2, 2025 Shoulda been my guy CJ Stroud smh — Duv-ALL Sports Cards & Collectible's (@DuvALLsports) June 2, 2025

Sydney Sweeney breaks silence on split from fiancé, Glen Powell rumors swirl
Sydney Sweeney has officially confirmed her breakup with longtime fiancé Jonathan Davino, while rumors about her and co-star Glen Powell continue to swirl. In a candid interview with The Times published on May 31, the Euphoria actress revealed she's single and enjoying her independence after ending the engagement. When asked if she was still planning her wedding to Davino, Sweeney simply replied, 'No.' She then confirmed the split, marking the end of their relationship that began in 2018. Davino had proposed in 2022, but their engagement quietly ended earlier this year. While Sweeney didn't address speculation about her possible romance with Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell, she did say she's thriving in her new single era. 'I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it,' she said. Sources close to the star suggested that her busy career played a major role in the breakup. With multiple projects in the pipeline, including Euphoria and a biopic about boxer Christy Martin, Sweeney is focused on work. 'She's exactly where she wants to be,' a source told People, adding, 'They didn't split because there's no love, but because she's prioritizing her career.' Sweeney has also been sharing glimpses of her new lifestyle on Instagram—spending time with her new puppy, Tank, and enjoying downtime in bikinis between shoots—as fans continue to follow her next moves both on and off screen.
