‘And Just Like That …' Season 3, Episode 4 Recap: Guilty

Season 3, Episode 4: 'Apples to Apples'
Is it time for all of us to face the very real possibility that Aidan is a narcissist?
For the second time in their yearslong love affair, Aidan has lured Carrie to the countryside. In 'Sex and the City' Season 4, Aidan finds a backwoods cabin in the unfortunately named Suffern, N.Y., and all but forces Carrie to spend weekends up there with him and a domestic terrorist squirrel.
This time, though, Carrie is in Virginia with Aidan, not so much against her will. In last week's episode, Carrie eagerly showed up down south to deliver Aidan a key to 'their' (insert eye-roll emoji) Gramercy palace, and then Aidan asked her to stay.
Why, exactly, does he do that? Carrie asks Aidan that very question toward the end of this episode. There is only one correct answer, and it goes something like: 'Because you're the love of my life. I miss you, and I wish we could be together all the time, and I just wanted to feel that for at least a few days.'
But Aidan tells Carrie nothing of the sort. He says simply, 'I felt guilty because you came all the way down here, and if I couldn't ask you to stay, what does that say about us?'
Here is what I think: I think that response solidifies for viewers that Aidan is a deeply selfish, stubborn, manipulative jerk who is dead-set on making everyone close to him bend to his will.
For starters, Aidan has successfully maneuvered his way into getting what he wants out of Carrie in this most recent iteration of their relationship. In 'And Just Like That …' Season 2, he refused to set foot in Carrie's house — a melodramatic boundary rooted in old cheating wounds Carrie had apologized for time and again. But then Carrie went and sold it and bought the Gramercy townhouse that he all but refuses, essentially, to set foot in today.

'The Boys' Star Erin Moriarty Shares Graves' Disease Diagnosis

The Boys star Erin Moriarty has shared some serious news on social media. According to Erin Moriarty, who plays the fan-favorite character Starlight in the hit Amazon Prime series The Boys , she has been officially diagnosed with Graves' disease. Moriarty made the announcement via Instagram, where she also took the opportunity to share some words of inspiration for others that might be dealing with similar health issues. 'Autoimmune disease manifests differently in everybody/every body,' she opens her statement with. 'Your experience will be different from mine. My experience will be different from yours. Perhaps greatly, perhaps minutely,' she adds. 'One thing I can say: if I hadn't chalked it all up to stress and fatigue, I would've caught this sooner.' At this point, Erin Moriarty explains the situation with his Graves' disease diagnosis: 'A month ago, I was diagnosed with Graves' disease. Within 24 hours of beginning treatment, I felt the light coming back on. It's been increasing in strength ever since. If yours is dimming, even slightly, go get checked. Don't 'suck it up' and transcend suffering; you deserve to be comfy. Shit's hard enough as is.' Graves' disease is an immune system condition that specifically effects the thyroid gland. As shared via Mayo Clinic, it 'causes the body to make too much thyroid hormone.' Although these diagnoses are certainly unfortunate news for anyone that receives them, it's nice seeing Moriarty is already feeling better and receiving the care that she needs to battle the disease. Likewise, it's nice to see her share words of wisdom for anyone dealing with similar situations. It absolutely is hard enough without the opportunity to feel comfortable with your personal health. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding Erin Moriarty and the Amazon Prime series The Boys as we have them. The Boys will return for a fifth and final season that has yet to receive an official release date, with several spin-off projects also in the works.

Wendy Williams had 'no idea' about her 'money-grubber' ex-husband's lawsuit

Wendy Williams had "no idea" her "money-grubber" ex-husband Kevin Hunter was planning to file a $250 million lawsuit over her guardianship. Hunter - who was married to the presenter from 1999 until 2020 - filed a lawsuit on Tuesday (17.06.25) demanding a jury trial and naming 48 defendants who he claims have violated Wendy's constitutional rights by facilitating a guardianship order which came into force in 2022 - but Wendy has insisted she's not involved with the legal challenge. She told "[I had] no idea [he was filing the suit]. Nor do I want him to be a part of my life like that, no. Because I'm divorced forever ... "He's a money-grubber; he's always been that way. It's good to know that he's doing such evil things - again .. He won't win." Amongst those named in the legal papers are Wendy's legal guardian Sabrina Morrissey, the judge presiding over her guardianship Lisa Sokoloff, Wells Fargo, her assisted living facility and several lawyers. The complaint states: "Guardianship is a civil death. In New York, more than 28,000 adults, which includes (Williams), are being abused, neglected, and defrauded under the care of court-appointed guardians." The Wendy Williams Show host was placed under a legal guardianship in 2022 before it was revealed the following year that she had been diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. LaShawn Thomas, the attorney who filed the lawsuit, acknowledged that Wendy is "not legally aware of all the evidence that supports our claims that she should not be forced to suffer from this guardianship". The statement to People read: "I plan on laying out sufficient evidence to support our claims and ensure that her rights are vindicated and she is made whole financially." Hunter's lawsuit is not looking for an end to the former broadcaster's guardianship but his requests include a "new impartial guardian", the unsealing of her case's files, her release from "involuntary confinement", a full forensic accounting and $250 million in relief for financial loss, repetitional damage, emotional distress, legal costs and the deprivation of Wendy's liberty. Kevin has been named as a co-plaintiff in the case and wants to be appointed as Williams' "next friend" - a party who can legally act "on behalf of an individual unable to assert their own rights and when no guardian is acting in their best interests".
