Mario and Luigi are going to be so annoyed when you fix your garbage disposal *and* your clogged up bathtub with these under-$5 fixes.
1. A "spray and go" enzyme-based laundry stain remover that works its magic in one wash to help you instantly get rid of all that discolored dried sweat, oil stains, or deodorant residue on your favorite clothes, so you don't have to do any heavy scrubbing yourself.
www.amazon.com
Check out a TikTok of the laundry spray in action.
Puracy is a Texas-based, family-owned business specializing in plant-based, chemical-free, hypoallergenic home products, with a donation made to local families in need with a portion of every purchase.
Psst — this spray also does a number on all those other miscellaneous stains in your life, like wine, coffee, soy sauce, makeup, and period blood! I recently bought this to test it for myself, and can attest to how well it works to get period blood out even after you've tried something else. I stained a pair of beloved bright-blue bike shorts in my sleep and tried to get it out with soap and water, but the stain was still there when it came out of the wash. I treated it with this, stuck it back in the wash, and BOOM, it's like it never happened (I panicked before I could get a before and after, please forgive me, laundry gods).
Get it from Amazon for $6.98+ (available in different sizes).
2. The Pink Stuff's new "Sqeezy" sponge set, which is living up to its "miracle" catchphrase by helping reviewers with their toughest cleaning projects, like grimy pans, mildewed showers, and marked-up walls. If you aren't already in the cult of Pink Stuff cleaning paste, it's so good at its job that reviewers call it " gold in a jar" and " witchcraft."
Promising review: "The 'abrasive sponge when cold' or 'squishy when hot' is an awesome feature for the type of scrubbing you want to do. The Pink Stuff with the sponge does wonders! We have a hideous 30-year-old shower and although it doesn't look brand new like I was hoping, it's 10 times better!! This product really does work!" — GreenGoddess
Get the set (one Pink Stuff jar and a "Sqeezy") from Amazon for $9.99.
3. Or the The Pink Stuff's Miracle Multipurpose Cleaner Spray, another Pink Stuff product that lives up to the hype — this version is especially handy for large surface areas like counters, walls, bathtubs, and floors, so you can go ham with the spray and lift it all up in one go.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I saw this product in a TikTok, they said it was a great cleaner. It did not disappoint! This cleaner works on crayon, marker, scuffle marks, oil and wall cleaning! It's a wonderful product and does not have a heavy chemical smell at all." — Carobtny
Get it from Amazon for $4.86.
4. A foaming garbage disposal cleaner you can plop into your sink, run a little water on, and let its blue magic fizz its way up to the top while clearing out all the gunk from your culinary adventures in one go.
Amazon
Promising review:"Saw on TikTok (don't judge) and automatically added to cart. So easy to use, takes probably a minute to fully bubble up and clean, and you're left with a clean sink! I use with other drain cleaning products, but would 100% recommend for weekly maintenance." — Jessica Hamilton
Get a four-pack from Amazon for $3.78.
5. Sprayway Glass Cleaner, a reviewer-beloved cleaning staple that did *not* come here to play. This streak-free, fast-acting foam is so effective at cleaning surfaces that a lot of businesses and offices swear by it for that oh-so-squeaky-clean look.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Psst — if you want to use a squeegee, check out this reviewer-beloved squeegee on Amazon!
Promising review:"This is by far the best glass cleaner I have used. Wonder has no chance against this spray. I'm not sure why I haven't found this sooner. I will never go back to regular Windex spray. Recommend it!" — Hadassah E.
Get a pack of two from Amazon for $8 (available in unscented and lavender).
6. A set of fast-acting Keurig cleaner pods you can simply put through a cycle on the machine to get rid of all the crusted-on grinds and residue that are *definitely* affecting the taste of your coffee, even if you haven't noticed over time.
www.amazon.com
Quick & Clean is a small business that specializes in coffee machine cleaning products.
Promising review:"I had no idea that cleaning a Keurig was a thing. I bought these because I saw them on TikTok, believe it or not. I wanted to give it a go because my Keurig isn't that old and I didn't think it would do anything. IT WORKS SO WELL! My Keurig wasn't as nasty as some I've seen, lucky. I would highly recommend, keeps everything running correctly and clean." — Lauren
Get a set of six from Amazon for $9.95.
7. An airtight Deli ProKeeper so beloved that it's gone viral on FridgeTok (if you know, you KNOW). Not only does this free up space and clutter in the fridge, but it keeps deli meat and cheese so fresh that you'll actually get your darn money's worth by preventing waste.
Promising review: "I bought this because I have the outlandish idea that my refrigerator will look just like those on TikTok, but I am pleasantly surprised to find that it keeps my cold cuts fresher for much longer than expected. It's large enough to hold a pound or more of cold cuts or cheese, which is a bonus. The sealing technology is superb and strong. At one point, I almost could not open the container due to the seal being so airtight. Not only does this product look good in my fridge, but it is saving me money, so definitely a win-win for me." — IrishEyes
Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in three styles).
8. A reviewer-beloved veggie chopper that'll get you uniform, oh-so-satisfyingly cut veggies — this gadget juliennes, chops, spiralizes, and slices vegetables in an instant and has a built-in storage container to hold the chopped veggies so you can pour them into a pan or dish without any mess.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Fullstar is a small business established in 2017 that specializes in kitchen gadgets.
Check out a TikTok of the veggie chopper in action.
Promising review:"Makes life so much easier. I can't imagine chopping onions or bell peppers by hand anymore, and it does so much more. We used to have a Prepworks chopper, which was a similar idea, but you had to press so hard to chop, and it broke after not too long. This one requires very little effort to cut through the foo,d and it has a generous container." — Amazon Customer
Get it from Amazon for $26.97+ (clip the $3 off coupon on the product page for this price; available in four styles and in four colors).
9. And an electric potato peeler worthy of a permanent spot on your counter. Not only does it effortlessly peel potatoes, but it can handle pretty much any peeled produce you throw at it, from apples to kiwis to oranges to tomatoes. (To be clear, though, your highest priority should *always* be mashed potato-ing.)
Promising review:"Love it! It's light and easy to use. When I use a potato peeler I was always peeling too much potato with the peel. This blade is fine and only gets the skin, in seconds. Except for the 'poles' of the potato but I don't mind. It's easy to clean if you have a sprayer to just rinse off the spikes where you insert your potatoes. Small enough and doesn't take up much room." — yestfl
Get it from Amazon for $19.98.
10. A set of heavy duty Tub O Towels wipes that are most definitely not here to play — they're basically the paper towel version of The Rock and can lift up stains on anything from grease to permanent marker to nail polish. Bonus: they're tough on stains, but the aloe vera in them makes them super gentle on skin!
Promising review:"This stuff really is magical! When we moved into our house, the previous owners did a horrible job of cleaning the stainless-steel appliances. There were permanent run marks going down the front that I could not remove....and I tried EVERYTHING. I should note that I'm not actually positive that these appliances are true stainless steel or just manufactured to look like that. I wanted to cry tears of joy after wiping down the dishwasher because I had been looking at those awful run marks for three years, and they were finally gone! The whole tub is worth it for that appliance alone." — MayBae
Get a pack of 90 from Amazon for $14.98.
11. A cute lil' insect catcher you can set in a plant or near your fruit bowl or compost to deal with any unwanted fluttering guests. These odorless sticky traps are designed to work indoors and outdoors and will stop fruit flies, gnats, mosquitoes, and more — without the high price tag of the electronic or liquid versions.
Reviewers note that these work best if you put them somewhere the flies are already attracted to — these will definitely trap them, but they won't attract them on their own.
Promising review: "I had a HUGE fruit fly issue after I found a rotting lemon that had called behind a bread box. I paid $20+ for the liquid fly traps, but nothing worked. I ordered these sticky fly traps, and within two days, the sticky traps caught 50+ fruit flies, and I don't have any more fruit flies. These were the least expensive options I tried and worked the best. I HIGHLY recommend!!!" — Lisa
Get a pack of 18 from Amazon for $7.99 (available in 12 styles and packs).
12. A tried-and-true Stasher bag, aka a staple in any snack-happy human's arsenal — these leakproof, durable, environmentally-friendly alternatives to disposable zippered bags are not only perfect for any kind of snack, but play nice with the dishwasher, fridge, freezer, AND the microwave. Major convenience flex.
www.amazon.com, Amazon
Stasher is a small business that specializes in storage and meal prep products.
Psst — people use these for travel products too, especially for toiletries they're worried about leaking in their bags!
Promising review: "I love my new color. I must have 30 Stasher bags by now and love them. They are so convenient and work really well. One can see exactly what they have in the fridge or freezer at a glance. They keep frost away as well. Highly recommend!" — Sabrina
"I tried cheaper reusable bags, but they can be difficult to seal and get brittle after about 15 times in the dishwasher. Stashers stay flexible and are always easy to seal. And talk about volume! I transported an entire pot of soup in one bag." — Mary
Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in 16 colors; check out Stasher's Amazon storefront for more sizes and styles).
13. A fabric defuzzer to revitalize all your favorite knits and cardigans so you can let them shine the way the cottagecore gods and the MRCN (Meg Ryan Cinematic Universe) intended.
Promising review:"I have watched TikTok after TikTok before buying this, and it has saved many of my clothes that I considered not wearing anymore. For example, sweatpants after a few months of wear and washing get extremely linty. This has saved them and they look almost new." — Sasha
Get it from Amazon for $8.99+ (available in six colors and two styles).
14. A no-scrub weekly shower cleaner you can quite literally "set and forget" to maintain its cleanliness over time — once you apply it after a shower, you just have to wait eight to 12 hours and it'll quietly tackle the soap scum, grime, oils, mold, and mildew stains without any elbow grease from you.
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I saw this product on TikTok and decided to try it out for myself. The name doesn't lie — spray it on, shut the bathroom door, and in a few hours, the shower is 100 times cleaner. Usually I'll let it sit overnight, and by morning, the visible grime on the shower is gone, including soap scum. I'll usually let the shower water rinse the residue out, and then will take a bucket just to get everything off the shower walls. It is a bit slick if you try to get in the shower without rinsing the residue, but otherwise it's a worthy cleaning staple in my house." — Tara D.
Get it from Amazon for $19.98+ (available in two scents and two sizes).
15. An Uncrustables-inspired sandwich cutter that goes above and beyond the typical cookie cutter molds parents have been buying for years. This version is sharper and steadier, helping you get a clean cut and a more secure lock on the bread before you eat it fresh or put it in the freezer for meal prep batching. Expensive Uncrustables WHOMST?
www.amazon.com
Check out a TikTok of the sandwich cutter in action.
Promising review: "I've tried three other gadgets that advertised that they make Uncrustable sandwiches, and this is the only one that's made a perfect one. My kid's sandwiches have remained completely sealed and mess free while eating. I bought this one to prepare peanut butter and jelly's for a four day trip across country. Not a single time did I need to baby wipe my toddlers cause they were a sticky mess from jelly. I have made Uncrustables fresh and frozen to defrost later and it's all stayed sealed. I absolutely recommend.' — Elizabeth Monroe
Get it from Amazon for $7.90 (available in two sizes).
16. A drain snake you can funnel into your shower or sink drain that honestly works a little *too* well at unclogging hair in older sinks and bath tubs, pulling it up in one (semi-horrifying) go before you have to resort to potentially pipe-damaging traditional drain cleaners.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"Job well done! If you struggle with frequent drain clogs like I do, I highly recommend this product. I t's easy to use, effective, and a great value for the price. The hook design to let me reach deep into the drain and pull out a surprising amount of hair and debris." — Rose

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Febu is a small business that specializes in earth-friendly, non-toxic home products.
Promising review: "I love these! I have used these for years instead of a sponge or a dishrag. They hold up great, mop up crumbs and spills quickly, can be popped in the dishwasher to clean, and bring a bit of color to the sink area in my otherwise neutral kitchen." — Wynnefred
Get a set of five from Amazon for $14.95 (available in 15 very pretty sets).

Promising review:"I absolutely love this product. I saw it on TikTok and figured I would give it a try. My grandmother passed away almost eight years ago, and she left me her first engagement ring in her will. I have tried so many jewelry cleaners, toothpaste and toothbrush, you name it, tried everything except for sending it away to get cleaned. I ordered the Diamond Dazzle Stik on Thursday and it arrived the following Saturday, fast shipping! Today is Sunday and I cleaned my ring with the Diamond Dazzle Stik. I had used every product on the market before buying this pen to see if I could brighten the grout with no luck. I could have just saved so much money if I had went with the pen in the first place! 42 Bizarre Baby Names That Actually Exist

We recently rounded up very ~unhinged~ baby names that healthcare workers have seen, and it turns out, a LOT of you have even more odd names to share. Here are some interesting names our BuzzFeed readers say they just couldn't get over hearing IRL: "A teacher friend had a student named VAHGINAE. Spelled, VAGINA." "Peds nurse here! Baby was named Blessed Angle (parents pronounced it Angel because they thought that was the correct spelling of 'angel' and no one corrected them)." "Magnum — like the condoms…it was a little girl." "A little girl named 'Country.'" "I know a guy who has the legal name Real Joynt." "I met a 6-year-old named Pimple 🤦🏻‍♀️." "I worked on both a pediatric and an adult cardiothoracic floor. On my peds floor, I took care of a toddler named Princess Sparkle Cupcake. On my adult floor, an 80-something man named Adolf Hitler. I truly felt for them both." "Teacher here — I have a student named L-A (pronounced La-Dash-Uh)." "Retired nurse sharing craziest baby names seen: Shitonya (Shuh-TAWN-ya) and Syphilis (Sigh-PHIL-iss)." "Worked in HR at an auto parts plant and kept a list of unusual names. Triplets: Tequila, Margarita. There was also someone named Demon." "A friend would send us the craziest names from her time in labor and delivery. My favorite were twin boys named Leonard and Bleonard." "A boy named Raptor." "I met a Gerry and Terry Christmas with girls named Merry and Marry." "Chanel, because she was #5 in the birth order. 😂" "Benign (better than malignant, but still…)." "In college, I worked at a local school district implementing a new filing system for student and staff records. One of the students' names was Nosmoking. Pronounced nas-mo-king." "My son has a classmate named Bottom." "I knew three brothers named Hunter, Beau, and Aero." "A girl worked at a grocery store in the dairy aisle, and she was named Velveeta." "I was at the playground with my daughter, and she made friends with a kid. The dad said his son's name is SPIDER. My daughter thought he saw a spider and ran for the hills (she's scared of bugs)." "When I was a CNA, I was assisting a new mom. She couldn't wait to tell me her baby's name, but said she had to write it for me first. On the dry erase board, she wrote La-a. I asked how she pronounced La-a. She said, 'It's easy! LaDashAh.' She wanted you to pronounce the dash. My face melted." "Courtney, but spelled "Quartnee.'"
