Israeli drone strike hits Southern Lebanon
Shafaq News/ An Israeli drone strike hit a Rapid-type vehicle in the main square of Beit Lif, a town in southern Lebanon, local media reported on Saturday.
According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, seven people were wounded in the assault.
This strike follows a recent pattern of aerial attacks across southern Lebanon. Earlier this week, a drone targeted a motorcycle on the Nabatieh-Fawqa road, resulting in one fatality. Lebanon's Health Ministry later confirmed the death, which occurred shortly after another drone hit a motorcycle in Deir Seryan, in the Marjayoun district, injuring another person.
Despite the announcement of a ceasefire agreement on November 26, tensions remain elevated along the Lebanese-Israeli frontier. The agreement outlined a phased Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory within 60 days. That deadline was later extended to February 18, 2025, but implementation has seen minimal progress.
Lebanese authorities reported that Israel has carried out nearly 3,000 violations of the ceasefire since it took effect. At least 215 people have been killed and more than 500 wounded during this period, according to official figures.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi: The United States Is Complicit In Israeli Attacks; If Israel Stops Its Aggression, Our Retaliation Will Naturally Stop
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in a June 15, 2025 address on IRINN TV (Iran) that Israel's aggression against Iran would never have been possible without the consent and protection of the United States. He claimed that Iran has evidence that U.S. forces and bases in the region are actively supporting Israeli attacks, and he said that President Trump has openly admitted his support by saying that the attacks would be impossible without U.S. backing and that more are coming. Araghchi asserted that in Iran's view, the United States is complicit and must take responsibility for these attacks. He emphasized that Iran's retaliation so far has been limited to targets inside Israel, and that Iran does not seek to expand these attacks beyond Israel's borders, unless it is forced to do so. He concluded by saying Iran is prepared to accept any nuclear deal, but not one aimed at denying Iran its "nuclear rights." Abbas Araghchi: "In our view, the Israeli regime's aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran would never have been possible without the consent and protection of the United States. We have compelling evidence that U.S bases and forces in the region are supporting the Zionist regime's attacks. We have been closely monitoring the U.S. forces, and we continue to do so. We possess ample evidence of their support for the Zionist regime. "More important than our evidence are the words of the American president – his tweets from yesterday and his interviews – in which he openly admits to supporting the attacks, acknowledges that without U.S. military logistics they wouldn't be possible, and even states that more rounds are ahead. Therefore, in our eyes, the United States is complicit in these attacks and it must take responsibility for its actions. "In our retaliatory attacks against the Zionist regime, we have concentrated on targets inside the Zionist regime. We do not seek to expand this war, unless it is imposed upon us. [...] "We did not want this war, as we were engaged in diplomatic efforts regarding our nuclear program, but this aggression was forced upon us. [...] "Since our defensive action is in response to aggression, if the aggression stops, so will our retaliation naturally stop. [...] "We are prepared to accept any [nuclear] deal which is based on Iran not having nuclear weapons. [...] "If the goal of this agreement is to deny Iran its nuclear rights, then naturally, we are not prepared to accept such a deal."

In First Since Start Of War With Iran, Houthi Ansar Allah Movement Claims Missile Attack On Israel In Coordination With Iran; Houthi Leader: Opportunity To Inflict 'Great Defeats' On Israel, To Renew
The following report is now a complimentary offering from MEMRI's Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM). For JTTM subscription information, click here. On June 15, 2025, for the first time since the start of the war between Israel and Iran which broke out on June 14, Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi Ansar Allah movement (the Houthis) claimed responsibility for a missile attack on Israel that it said was coordinated with operations carried out by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces, against Israel. Houthi military spokesman Brig.-Gen. Yahya Sare'e urged the Arab and Islamic countries to join the jihad against Israel, while Houthi leader, Abd Al-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi said that the current confrontation with Iran necessitates the renewal of "the equation of deterrence" against Israel, and provides an opportunity to inflict "great defeats" on the enemy. Also notable are remarks by additional senior Houthi officials which have described the Israeli attack as a strategic error and a potential turning point in the struggle between Israel and the axis of resistance.[1] In a statement posted on June 15, 2025, on his social media accounts in both Arabic and in English, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sare'e claimed responsibility for firing several "Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missiles" at "sensitive targets of the Israeli enemy in the area of occupied Yaffa [Jaffa]." Sare'e wrote that the missiles were launched at different times during the previous 24 hours and in coordination with operations carried out by the IRGC and the Iranian army against Israel. He praised Iran for its "firm" stance against Israel and for the blows it was dealing to it and declared that the Houthi forces would continue to assist the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip until the end of the Israeli "aggression" against them and the lifting of the siege it has imposed on them. In his statement Sare'e addressed all the Arab and Islamic states and peoples and declared: "Jihad is one of the gates of Paradise, opened by Allah for His distinctive servants. Take the initiative to stop the Israeli crimes against your people in Gaza, for what befalls them today will befall you tomorrow."[2] It should be noted that on June 10, 2025, Sare'e claimed responsibility for the launch of two ballistic missiles, one of them "hypersonic" at the Ben Gurion International Airport in central Israel.[3] On June 14, 2025, Houthi leader Al-Houthi delivered a pre-recorded, approximately 90-minute speech to mark the Day of Wilayah, which according to Shi'ite tradition is the anniversary of the day that the Prophet Muhammad appointed Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib as his successor. In his speech, Al-Houthi stated that the Israeli attack on Iran is part of "a Western attack" against the Islamic Republic which is perceived by the West as "an independent model that supports the Palestinian issue." He further contended that the Israeli "aggression" against Iran endangers the entire region, and so an Iranian victory is in the interest of all the countries in the area, firstly the Arab countries, due to the direct threat Israel poses to them. He called on the Arab and Islamic regimes to hold fast to their resistance to this aggression, not to surrender to "the dictates of the U.S. and the West" and to renew "the equation of deterrence" against Israel. He declared that the current confrontation is "an opportunity to inflict great defeats on the enemy… and to refurbish the image of Iran and the entire Islamic nation in the face of the arrogance and the crimes of the Israeli enemy." Al-Houthi also asserted that the Houthis are partners to the Iranian position "with all their capabilities," and will continue "their limitless war" against Israel, "in the framework of their jihadi mission for the sake of Allah."[4]

Iraq affirms support for Iran following Israeli assaults
Baghdad ( – The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, expressed on Sunday the Iraqi government and people's support for Iran, which is facing blatant Israeli aggression. Al-Sudani's remarks took place during his phone conversation with the Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, in which he reiterated Iraq's commitment to Iran's security and stability, which are related to regional peace, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). Al-Sudani also stressed Iraq's commitment to preventing the war from spreading, citing measures taken by the Iraqi government to prevent Israel from violating Iraqi airspace. Iraq submitted a formal complaint to the UN Security Council earlier, condemning Israel's use of Iraqi airspace to carry out airstrikes against Iran, describing it as a violation of sovereignty and a threat to regional peace. Al-Sudani stated that Iraq is ready to provide the assistance required to deal with the consequences of the war against Iran within the context of Islamic unity. According to White House and Israeli sources, Israel's operation against Iran would last weeks and is being carried out with the implicit knowledge of the United States. Amid the recent escalation of hostilities, the death toll from Israel's attacks on Iran has risen to 78. On the other hand, Iran's counterattacks on Israel killed at least 10 people, according to officials in both countries.
