The filing claims the request made it seem like, if Taylor didn't help, private texts in Blake's possession would be leaked.
Baldoni's team said someone from Swift's side responded to these threats in writing and sent it to Gottlieb. Baldoni's lawyers now want those chats. They said those messages would show an attempt to scare or pressure a key witness in the case.
Live Events
However, Blake's lawyer called all these claims "categorically false" and said they were 'completely untethered from reality', according to the Page Six report.
A judge, Lewis Leman, ruled that Baldoni's claims can't be used in court. The judge also said the claims were just to 'promote public scandal' and were based on belief, not solid evidence.
The start of the Drama
The issue began in December 2024 when
Blake Lively
filed a
sexual harassment
case against
Justin Baldoni
. A month later, Baldoni filed a countersuit accusing her of defamation and extortion, also bringing up Taylor Swift.
Baldoni's side said Blake called Taylor Swift and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 'dragons' who protect her during creative fights. His lawyers said it was clear Baldoni was up against not just Blake, but her powerful celebrity friends.
When people found out that Taylor Swift got a subpoena, her publicist told Page Six she wasn't involved with the movie at all. Taylor has not made a public statement, according to the report.
As reported by Page Six, Taylor and Blake are trying to move forward as friends, even though Taylor initially felt 'used.'
Blake Lively talked about the situation briefly on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Blake Lively said, 'It's been a really intense year for me'. She also mentioned that she had some of the best and worst moments of her life this year.

Sana Raees Khan on the quashing of FIR against Tanu Weds Manu producer: This judgment protects countless others from malicious prosecution
Sana Raees Khan and Shailesh R Singh The Supreme Court recently quashed a cheating case filed against Bollywood producer Shailesh R Singh, known for films like Tanu Weds Manu . The court observed that monetary recovery cannot be sought through criminal proceedings or police intervention, stating that such disputes should be resolved through appropriate civil mechanisms. The bench also expressed displeasure at the manner in which the Allahabad High Court dealt with Singh's petition to quash the FIR lodged by complainant Kunal Jain. T he dispute arose after the film Lady Killer, produced by Singh, underperformed at the box office. The complainant, who had invested money in the project, allegedly failed to recover his investment with interest and subsequently filed a criminal case. Advocate Sana Raees Khan, representing Singh, argued that the FIR stemmed from a civil dispute that had been wrongly given a criminal colour. She pointed out that Singh is the co-founder and production head of a company engaged in the production of motion pictures, and that a commercial disagreement was being misrepresented as a criminal offence. Khan told the court that the FIR did not disclose any prima facie case of cheating or criminal intent. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Villas in Dubai | Search Ads Get Info Undo She argued, 'In order to constitute the offence of cheating, there must be evidence indicating that the accused intended to deceive the complainant right from the beginning. A plain reading of the FIR, which alleges that an amount of ₹9.56 crore is due from the petitioner, fails to establish any element of criminality. ' She further highlighted that the High Court had directed Singh to undergo mediation and deposit ₹25 lakh in advance with the complainant before mediation proceedings — a move she said prejudged the outcome and undermined the very purpose of the quashing petition. Commenting on the outcome, Sana told us, 'This landmark judgment not only protects my client Shailesh Singh but also offers relief to countless others facing malicious prosecutions. I am proud to have led this legal battle and secured a precedent that upholds the sanctity of criminal justice. It's a verdict that will resonate far beyond this case. I remain deeply respectful of the judiciary's wisdom.'

Canada dad arrested on charges of daughter's murder in US cheated on wife; almost lost one eye in an assault in Ethiopia
9-year-old Melina Frattolin was allegedly killed by her father who called 911 to report that his daughter was kidnapped. Chilling details about Luciano Frattolin, a Canadian dad arrested on charges of killing his 9-year-old daughter on a vacation in the US, have emerged. A former friend told the Montreal Gazette that though Luciano Frattolin, the 45-year-old Ethiopian businessman, loved his daughter very much, he did not want to get tied down to her. Melina, the 9-year-old, used to stay with her mother as she had her full custody after their acrimonious divorce and Luciano only met his daughter once a year. 'He loved his daughter, but he didn't like the idea of being tied down,' said the friend, who knew Frattolin when they both lived in Ethiopia. Other than Melina, Luciano had no connection to Montreal and his main base is in Ethiopia. Luciano Frattolin's business deals According to the Montreal Gazette, Frattolin is prominent in Ethiopia because of his many business dealings, including that of a mine, a planned construction of a hotel in Ethiopia connected to a well-known international chain of hotels. In Montreal, Frattolin is listed as the primary shareholder of a numbered company that includes a business called Café Gambella that was created in 2020. On Quebec's business registry, Frattolin lists two addresses as his residences; one is on Bernard St. W. in Plateau-Mont-Royal and the other is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
