Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spotted out on low-key date after subpoena dropped
Pop star Taylor Swift, 35, and her partner Travis Kelce, 35, enjoyed a late dinner at Harry's restaurant in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday night in a rare outing
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been spotted out on a low-key after Justin Baldoni dropped the subpoena which required the pop star to appear as a witness in his legal battle against Blake Lively.
The Cruel Summer hitmaker, 35, and the National Football League player, also 35, enjoyed a late dinner at Harry's restaurant in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday night. An eyewitness said the couple walked in holding hands, with Taylor donning a floral-print off-the-shoulder dress while Travis wore a printed black and white shirt.
MMA fighter Jose Andres Cortes shared a photo of the pair, with sources claiming they arrived at the restaurant at 10pm. They were flanked by security guards as they strolled in with a glass in their hands before sitting down.
The eyewitness told TMZ that Taylor appeared to enjoy white wine while Travis had a signature cocktail. It was a rare outing for the couple who have been keeping a low-profile since Travis' team, the Kansas City Chiefs, lost the Super Bowl in February.
It comes after Taylor, who is friends with actress Blake, was officially subpoenaed to appear as a witness in her legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin. The pop star was delivered a legal notice by Justin's lawyer Bryan Freedman - a decision which had been slammed by her team as a tactic to create clickbait.
Now, in a move that is set to please Blake and Taylor, Justin is no longer calling on the singer to appear as a witness. Mr Freedman had claimed Blake had called on "her high-profile friends" including Taylor to "manipulate Justin at every turn."
Taylor licensed her hit song My Tears Ricochet to be used in the film but was not involved in the making of It Ends With Us, said her reps. They slammed the subpoena, claiming it was "designed to use Taylor Swift 's name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case."
Justin's legal team have dropped the subpoena, as Blake's spokesperson said they are "pleased" with the decision. "We supported the efforts of Taylor's team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel, and we will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process," they told People.
"The Baldoni and Wayfarer team have tried to put Taylor Swift, a woman who has been an inspiration for tens of millions across the globe, at the center of this case since day one," they claimed. They alleged that "exploiting Taylor Swift's celebrity was the original plan in [PR professional] Melissa Nathan's scenario planning document, and it continues to this day."

Hollywood icon looks unrecognisable with slicked back hair in new transformation
One iconic A-list star looked completely unrecognisable with slicked-back hair and a brand-new outfit An iconic Hollywood star looked totally unrecognisable with slicked back hair and heavy face makeup in new pictures shared online. The actor, who has won an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards, was recently seen with longer, greying hair that was messily slicked back. Their face looked different with makeup and fine lines, and they rocked a white vest with a leather jacket and black trousers. The star, who recently did voice acting work for The Boy and the Heron, was seen looking serious while walking around a movie set and, at one point, talking to a crew member. The Hollywood actor in question was wearing three Super Bowl rings and is none other than Christian Bale. He has been filming the upcoming David O'Russell film, Madden, in Atlanta. Madden also stars Nicolas Cage, who was spotted in a fat suit and long hair, as Raiders head coach-turned-iconic broadcaster John Madden. Comedian John Mulaney stars as Trip Hawkins, and British actress Sienna Miller as Al's wife Carol Davis. Christina star as the late Al Davis, who is the Oakland Raiders team owner and manager. Christian has previously discussed his roles and opened up about playing Patrick Bateman in the iconic American Psycho. In a 2022 interview with GQ, he said he was fired from the film during pre-production despite being handpicked for the role. "I had the book by my side, and I would read through it every single time because [author] Brett [Easton Ellis] had just had so many wonderful descriptions,' Bale said, describing how he approached the character. 'I didn't approach it like she said the other actors had, where they were talking about, 'What's his childhood?' or 'What's the reason he's become this?' I was like, ah, none of that really matters. He's just like this alien.' He added: "As we were doing the scene, I started laughing, and she started cracking up. We were like, 'Oh yeah, right - this will work between us.'' However, not everyone was sold. The financiers didn't like the idea of Christian playing the lead and wanted a bigger star so he was booted from the movie but he wasn't ready to leave. He continued preparing for the role and it (obviously) worked out. Christian said he "went a little bit psycho" himself and refused to step aside from the role. "Even though other people were cast, other directors were on board, I just kept on prepping.' Eventually, the producers relented, and Bale reclaimed the part he never truly let go of.

Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Retirement could come 'out of nowhere'
June 4 - Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is coming off a career year, complete with an NFL rushing title, a Super Bowl championship and even the cover of the "Madden 26" video game. That said, Barkley raised a few eyebrows recently when he revealed his retirement plan is similar to that of Hall of Famer Barry Sanders. "I'll probably be one of those guys that it'll be out of nowhere. I'll probably just wake up one day, whether it's next year or two years or four years, and just be like, 'Yeah, it's over,'" Barkley said on Chris Long's Green Light podcast. .".. My favorite player of all time is Barry Sanders, so probably similar to that. Maybe one day, it'll be out of nowhere -- I'll be balling and be like, yeah, call it quits." Barkley, 28, is three years younger than Sanders was when the Detroit Lions legend opted to retire on the eve of training camp in 1999. Sanders was coming off his 10th straight 1,000-yard season when he made the shocking announcement. Barkley is the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year after he led the league with 345 carries for 2,005 yards while scoring 13 touchdowns in 16 regular-season games (all starts). He also caught 33 passes for 278 yards and two TDs. He rushed 91 more times in four playoff games for 499 yards and five TDs, giving him a combined single-season record of 2,504 yards to pass Terrell Davis. Barkley has rushed 1,546 times for 7,216 yards and 48 TDs and caught 321 passes for 2,378 yards and 14 scores in 90 career games (all starts) for the New York Giants (2018-23) and Eagles. The Giants selected him second overall in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Penn State. --Field Level Media

MAUREEN CALLAHAN: Taylor Swift ghosting Blake Lively is just the start. A very specific public revenge is coming… it'll be deliciously cruel
Only the loss of one person, it seems, is enough to knock some sense into Blake Lively. And that is Taylor Swift.
