EuroMillions draw LIVE updates: Jackpot reaches 'truly historic' €250 million

One lucky EuroMillions player is in line to scoop a truly historic prize in Tuesday's draw, with the jackpot reaching its maximum possible amount of €250 million.
The EuroMillions jackpot reached its maximum cap on Friday, June 6, meaning this extraordinary prize cannot grow any further.
But here's the exciting part: on draws at the cap, any excess money that would usually be allocated to the jackpot will flow down to the next prize level at which there are winners.
If no one wins the top prize in tonight's EuroMillions draw, the jackpot will remain at €250 million for up to three more draws before it must be won on Friday, June 20.
If no one matches all seven numbers on the fifth draw, then the entire jackpot will roll down to the next prize level at which there are winners.
You can watch all EuroMillions draws first on The National Lottery website or it's YouTube channel at 8.45pm every Tuesday and Friday. The draw will take place at 8:45pm. If you can't watch the draw live, results will be posted shortly after.
Players are reminded that tickets for tonight's draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or online here ahead of the 7:30pm cut-off time for sales on tonight's draw.
Darragh O'Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson said: 'This is a truly historic moment for EuroMillions players in Ireland.
"With the jackpot capped at €250 million, any additional prize money that would normally increase the jackpot, will now be redirected to increase the value of the next prize tier at which there are winners.
"Imagine - we could be waking up tomorrow to news of Ireland's first €250 million winner.'

Lotto results: No winner of jackpot, but over 72,000 players win prizes

Tens of thousands of Lotto players have scooped up prizes in Wednesday's draws. While there was no winner of the Lotto jackpot, worth a life changing €6,948,223, in total, over 72,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including 12 winners who scooped €2,058. The winning numbers for the main Lotto draw were: 4, 23, 28, 30, 32, 33 and the Bonus 14. There were also 69 winners of the Raffle Prize each receiving €500. The winning raffle code was: 7719. There was no winner of the Lotto Plus 1 top prize, worth €1 million, but many players won prizes. The winning numbers were: 2, 16, 20, 26, 32, 40 and the Bonus 34. There was also no winner of the Lotto Plus 2 top prize, worth €250,000, but once again plenty won prizes in the draw. The winning numbers were: 4, 11, 16, 25, 32, 46 and the Bonus 17. Meanwhile, one lucky punter is waking up to lifechanging news - having won €500,000 in last night's EuroMillions draw. The draw itself was heralded as 'historic' as the jackpot hit a cap of €250m - but nobody hit the big time on that front this time around. However one player scooped the tidy €500,000 prize and the location of where that winning ticket was sold has been revealed. A EuroMillions spokesperson said: "Tuesday night's EuroMillions draw marked a historic moment for players, as the jackpot held steady at its eye-watering cap of €250 million, sparking widespread excitement across Ireland. "While no ticket matched all seven numbers in the 10th June draw, one Dubliner is waking up €500,000 richer after winning the EuroMillions Plus top prize. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at O'Ciobhain's SuperValu Swords, Boroimhe, Forest Road, Swords, Co. Dublin. "The winning numbers in last night's EuroMillions Plus draw were: 4, 6, 11, 28 and 44".
