NO KIDDING I love glamming up my girl for nursery, trolls tell me her outfit is totally inappropriate but I don't see the issue
SENDING your little one for their first day at the nursery or school is a huge milestone for millions of parents.
But now one mum has come under fire after sharing the outfit her daughter was wearing ahead of the big day.

The mother, only known as @kytoyouu, took to TikTok to share the proud moment - however, the video quickly sparked a fierce reaction.
In the now-viral video, the little girl, who is between the ages of four and five, could be seen showing off her freshly-done manicure.
The glam mani included French tips, as well as a huge variety of gems glued on top of the nails.
All chuffed with her brand new manicure, the girl then struck her best poses, as she modelled her clothes.
Giving the viewers an adorable spin, the excited child showed off her baby blue button-up shirt which was teamed up with beige flares.
Matching the flares was also a mega bow tie, as well as two scrunchies on her wrist.
''Kindergarten, please be kind to my baby,'' the mum said in the video.
But while the little girl looked adorable, the clip soon went viral for all the wrong reasons, amassing more than 2.8million views.
As over 10,000 people flooded to comments to share their thoughts, critics slammed the mother and dubbed the outfit 'inappropriate'.
One viewer said: ''dress her appropriately to her age.. it's not that difficult.''
Mums slam Molly-Mae after she refuses to discipline Bambi for biting a child & accuse her of using toddler as 'ragebait'
Someone else agreed, writing: ''🤨 Acrylics or even press ons in kindergarten is crazy.
''Just messing up that baby nail beds & they not even fully developed.
''Kids play & are rough so I hope she don't hit them nails on something.''
What age can you take kid to get their nails done?
MUMS have sparked controversy after allowing their kids to get acrylic nails. But just how old do they have to be to be allowed to get them done legally.
According to the National Occupational Standards, anyone under the age of 16 has to be accompanied by an adult.
They also need written consent from a parents or guardian.
It's also a good idea to check that the salon you're planning to go to - just to ask if they offer services to children.
A horrified social media user said: ''Can we PLEASE let kids be KIDS.''
''She's going to school not the club,'' another critic mum-shamed the TikToker.
Luckily for the mum - who said her daughter ''loves the nail shop'' - there were also a few of those who didn't see an issue with the outfit.
A fellow mum wrote: ''Let a girl be a girl!! My daughter is 7 and I take her get her nails done! Anything that makes her happy!''
''y'all act like she got stilletto nails and heels on, girl please,'' someone else hit back at the harsh critics.

She opened up to Jamie Laing on his Great Company podcast, as she said she was initially told following a check up and ultrasound that "it looked healthy" and wasn't something doctors were worried about. However, Jessie's symptoms - including a "really achy" arm and pins and needles in her hand every morning - continued, and led to her having a biopsy the day after her 37th birthday. Her doctor then said she would "phone you on Monday if it's not good news". That weekend, Jessie kept herself busy, and had just come off a call talking about her BAFTAs performance when she got a text from the expert, asking her if she could Zoom. "So I'm thinking, oh, it's going to be nothing because it's a Zoom, but it was Monday. So I was like, hmm," she said. The doctor initially began the video call by asking Jessie if she was sitting down, at which point she knew that it was bad news. "And she went, I'm really sorry, but it's all come back as like high grade cancer cells," Jessie recalled. "And I just burst into tears. You know, that was my normal... that was a healthy reaction." She also spoke about how the disease has affected her being a mum, to son Sky, who turned two in May. Jessie J goes back to work for first time since undergoing surgery as she reveals changes inspired by breast cancer battle "I feel like cancer's robbed me of memories with my boy," she sighed. "Like yesterday I sobbed, because I miss my boy. "I can't be a mum like I want to be a mum. And I feel robbed. "I feel like cancer's robbed me of memories with my boy." Jessie was praised for her honesty in the comments section after a video of the podcast interview was shared on TikTok, with one writing: "This is so so vital to list out symptoms like this. "It helps women be prepared for this kind of experience." "I had the same reaction, got told it was all clear on the scan, went back a year later knowing in my gut something was up and it was cancer," another added. "31, no family history of cancer either." "She is so so lovely," a third praised. "One of the few out there who's truthful and honest about everything and on top of that the voice of a thousand angels. "Hope she goes easy on herself and the mum guilt. "You can't be everything at the same time and you can tell how close their bond is." 6 She's been told that the cancer hasn't spread since she had the surgery Credit: Instagram

I'm trolled for leaving my husband after he ended up in a wheelchair – he's in a care home while I'm remarried with kids

Read on to see how Kris deals with the haters LOVE WINS I'm trolled for leaving my husband after he ended up in a wheelchair – he's in a care home while I'm remarried with kids KRIS Armstrong was one of the lucky ones, after finding her best friend and husband at the age of 16. But her life soon turned upside down at the age of 23, when she got a phone call on her way to work. 3 Kris Armstrong with her first husband Brandon Credit: tiktok/@followmetothemouse 3 Kris decided to divorce Brandon after a car accident left him with PTA Credit: tiktok/@followmetothemouse Advertisement Her husband, Brandon Smith, had been involved in a car accident and by the time she arrived at the hospital, he was already in a coma. When he woke up two months later, the Brandon she knew was gone. Brandon woke up with post-traumatic amnesia and now needed constant care. The pair, from Texas, had both planned to start a family after getting married at the age of 22, but those plans were now unachievable. Advertisement "His memory, which really he's never fully gotten out like 10 seconds long. This is when it really became clear that I went from being a wife to a caregiver," Kris told CBS. "When someone has a severe traumatic brain injury in a big way, you lose that person, but you gain somebody new," she said. "And it took me a long time to realise that." Kris decided to quit her job and become Brandon's full time carer, even changing jobs to become a speech pathologist to help them communicate. Advertisement But after years of trying, it was clear that the severity of Brandon's injuries meant their relationship had changed and Kris filed for divorce to become his legal guardian instead. "I had made vows that I would be with him in sickness and health, and I took that very seriously," Armstrong said. Heartbreaking tributes to Brit woman, 43, killed in jet ski crash at Costa Del Sol resort "I didn't stay married to him, but I wanted to take care of him." Kris took care of all of his appointments, his health insurance and financial matters and vowed to be there for the rest of their lives. In a TikTok clip, Kris revealed that she soon 'drowned' as she tried to keep up with Brandon's care needs. Advertisement Despite having a huge support group, it became too much and Kris had to make the painful decision to place Brandon into a care home. Kris was by his side the whole time, even in 2014, when Kris met her now-husband James Armstrong, she kept her promise. She told James about the situation and he was fully onboard with having Brandon in their lives as well. When the pair first met, Brandon even asked James if they could have a beer together, helping to solidify their bond. 3 Kris' second husband James is also there for Brandon Credit: tiktok/@followmetothemouse Advertisement FAMILY FOR LIFE Now, Kris and James are married with small kids, and also look after Brandon and keep him included in the family. A recent TikTok video saw Kris pick up Brandon so he could celebrate her 41st birthday with them. In the clip, Kris takes Brandon out to lunch, assisting him with eating and drinking, and later shares cake with him back at home. At one moment in the video, Kris shares a sweet clip of James, who can be seen hugging Brandon and giving him a kiss on the forehead. "Thanks for hanging out with me on my birthday," Kris says to Brandon, who responds in kind by mouthing "I love you" back. Advertisement But despite Kris' determination to keep Brandon in her life over the last 16 years since his accident, trolls cruelly slam her for divorcing him in the first place. One wrote: "She divorced him when he got into the accident. Let's not pretend she's a saint please. He has to watch her with her new husband and children after she abandoned their marriage because it didn't suit her." Another penned: "Through sickness and health… but you divorced him and put him in a home." "He's looking at you like he wants you everyday. So sad when people leave their spouse when illness hits," commented a third. In the past, Kris and Brandon have addressed the negative comments, saying they'd rather share it and help others in similar situations than keep it bottled up. Advertisement Kris wrote: "We can choose to bottle up what we go through in fear of being judged but then we don't get the beautiful benefit of community."

Five ugly interior design mistakes Brits are making revealed by an expert – from your lighting to your kitchen

Nicolas revealed the specific type of candles he thinks look "terrible" HOUSE ABOUT IT Five ugly interior design mistakes Brits are making revealed by an expert – from your lighting to your kitchen An interior expert has shared the five ugliest design mistakes Brits are making in their homes. Nicolas Fairford, who is from the Midlands but is now living in Scotland, didn't hold back when it came to naming and shaming the "vibe-killers" that many of us are guilty of having in our households. 2 Nicolas Fairford revealed the five ugliest design mistakes people make in their homes Credit: @nicolasfairford 2 The interior designer isn't a fan of laundry being hung to dry around the house Credit: Getty From microwaves to laundry racks, the YouTuber, who aspires to help create a calming space in the home, accused such household additions of jarring the "flow and beauty" of a well-designed space. First up, Nicolas took to TikTok (@nicolasfairford) to discuss a very popular offender - the TV. The 35-year-old, who moved out of his parents house when he was 18, explained that in that time, he has never owned a TV because they "dominate the room." He says: "Everybody places their furniture to face that thing. READ MORE HOME STORIES HOUSE THAT I've kitted out my home with Facebook Marketplace buys - I saved £619 on a chair "It is just an ugly black box and I don't want it in my house to disturb the flow and the beauty." Instead, he explains that if he fancies watching something, he'll simply just put his laptop on instead. Nicolas then moves his attention to the kitchen and slams a common appliance that many of us use daily - the microwave. He brands it a "huge metal box" which simply "takes up too much space." Next up, the YouTuber explains how having laundry drying all around the house "kills the vibe" - even in the most beautiful of homes. Instead, he reveals how he uses the spare room in his house to dry his washing - adding that he always ensures the door is firmly closed so that he never has to look at it. Kelly Hoppen shares her top design tips Nicolas adds that he forks out £12 a week to have his bed sheets laundered so that he doesn't have to worry about the sight of them being hung to dry all over the house. Another popular household item on Nicolas' hitlist is overhead lighting. "You can have a beautiful interior, but if you've got the overhead lighting, it just kills the vibe," he notes. "It makes everybody look a lot less attractive." Instead, Nicolas advises placing lamps all around the room so that there's little pools of light that'll "cast a nice glow." And last but not least, the interior designer targets homeowners who have decorative candles in every room but fail to light them. He says: "Five is unused candles, and by this, I mean when you find those taper pillar candles in glass vases or globes and they're unlit, gathering dust." The interior designer claims they look "terrible" and recommends lighting them so they look used - even if it's just for an hour. The post racked up a whopping 144k views, with very mixed opinions from social media users. Some were in agreement, with one writing: "Completely agree, however, I do own a TV! "My no. 1 pet peeve is a washing line in the garden. They look hideous." Another posted: "Agree with all this. I'd add: gloss paint, huge speakers, wire/plastic coat hangers, prosecco, rude people." However, others pointed out that Nicolas' five big no no's just weren't practical - especially for families with kids. "Put three kids in your house - you'll buy a TV, stop ironing bed sheets and you WILL have laundry in places you really don't want it," one person commented. Another chimed in: "Tell me you don't have kids without telling me you don't have kids."
