Authorities investigating arson after SUV damaged in Fredericksburg
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. () — Police are searching for the person responsible for setting an SUV on fire in Fredericksburg on Monday.
According to the Fredericksburg Police Department (FPD), a man parked his 2021 Toyota RAV4 around 6 p.m. on May 5. However, the next morning, he discovered that the inside of the SUV was damaged.

Their investigation determined that someone had entered the SUV and started a fire.
Police said no personal items were taken, but the fire caused extensive damage.
The FPD and Fredericksburg Fire Marshal urge anyone with information about the fire to call police at 540-373-3122. Anonymous tips can be sent via text to '847-411' with the message starting with 'FPDtip.'

Memphis Reporter OK After Being Carjacked in Company Car
A WREG reporter is OK after he was was carjacked at gunpoint at a gas station on Tuesday morning. The Memphis CBS affiliate said it happened around 10:30 a.m. on a busy corner just about a mile east of WREG's studio and offices. A man approached reporter Mike Suriani, who was working at the time, while he was at a gas pump. Suiriani got out of the station's white 2016 Toyota RAV4 when a man wearing a mask approached from the sidewalk and shouted to give him the car keys. The man had his hand on a gun that was sticking out of his pocket. Suriani handed over the keys and the man drove off southbound on Third Street. WREG said Suriani was unhurt. The suspect got away with the Toyota and the camera gear inside. There was no WREG logo on the side, but the number 19 is on the bottom right bumper of the vehicle. The tag number is BHM 6360.

Crump Boulevard and Third Street, on a busy corner just about a mile east of WREG's studio and offices. Suriani said he was at a gas pump and got out of the vehicle when a man wearing a mask approached from the sidewalk and shouted to give him the car keys. The man had his hand on a gun that was sticking out of his pocket. Suriani handed over the keys and the man drove off southbound on Third Street. The reporter was unhurt. Police described the suspect as a male with a dark complexion, possibly 6 feet tall, wearing a black head scarf, white jacket, gray shirt and black pants. Driver leaves scene due to ‘childcare issues' after adult struck on I-670 exit ramp near Downtown, Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A person walking along Interstate 670 exit ramp was struck by an SUV, whose driver had to leave the scene due 'childcare issues', according to police. Officers and Columbus Fire Medic units arrived at the I-670 westbound ramp towards Interstate 71 South Sunday night at 11:15 p.m. and found an adult victim had been hit by a Toyota 4Runner. The driver and two passengers stopped briefly to check on the victim. Central Ohio bitten by price cycling bug at the gas pump The driver of the Toyota said they had childcare issues and had to leave. The passengers stayed behind and reported the crash to authorities. Police said the Toyota was located, with the driver's side mirror missing and damage to the vehicle that matched the damage found at the crash scene. Police did not say if there were any arrests made or charges filed against the driver. The victim was taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition with a broken leg.
