Authorities investigating arson after SUV damaged in Fredericksburg
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. () — Police are searching for the person responsible for setting an SUV on fire in Fredericksburg on Monday.
According to the Fredericksburg Police Department (FPD), a man parked his 2021 Toyota RAV4 around 6 p.m. on May 5. However, the next morning, he discovered that the inside of the SUV was damaged.

Their investigation determined that someone had entered the SUV and started a fire.
Police said no personal items were taken, but the fire caused extensive damage.
The FPD and Fredericksburg Fire Marshal urge anyone with information about the fire to call police at 540-373-3122. Anonymous tips can be sent via text to '847-411' with the message starting with 'FPDtip.'
