Soto explained in March on the TODAY show that deciding on an agency involved his whole family. While Juan Soto said he was happy to join the New York Mets, his poor showing at Yankee Stadium has made many speculate if he regrets leaving. Following a tough weekend when he only went 1-for-10 during the three-game Subway Series, Juan Soto received Kay's revelation.
Throughout the series that the Yankees won, Yankee fans gave their former star a rough time with nasty chants.
"People in the know say that Juan Soto wanted to be a Yankee," Kay said on his broadcast. "He chose the Yankees. But his family wanted him to be a Met, so he chose the Mets."
New York Mets management concerned about Juan Soto's adjustment
According to Bob Klapisch of NJ.com, the New York Mets are starting to be concerned about Juan Soto's lack of enthusiasm for his new team. According to Klapisch, Mets officials mentioned that Juan Soto only appeared cheerful when he was alongside his ex-Yankees teammates during batting practice this weekend.

Now, life moves on. I think every game that I play for South Africa, I try to do my best. It's been a couple of weeks now that everything has unfolded.' 'He had a conversation with the team and put himself on the spot for further questioning from any of the players. As far as we are concerned, that's kind of behind us, we really come here with the focus of what we need to do. 'And I think he's in the best shape that he's ever been. Playing against the Australians as well, that'll be extra motivation for him. I think he's in a very good space,' he added.

Pakistan to suffer again, PSL 2026 to clash with IPL 2026 due to...

In these collection of pictures, we find out the reason why PSL 2026 season will once again clash with the IPL 2026 season next year. IPL 2025 season clashed with PSL 2025 this year since the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was scheduled in Pakistan's T20 league window. Pakistan cricket board struggled to bring foreign players for PSL 2025 since most of top players were taking part in IPL 2025. Some players quit PSL 2025 mid-way to take part in IPL 2025. Image credit: X (Formerly Twitter) PSL 2026 is also scheduled to clash with IPL 2026 next year since the ICC have scheduled T20 World Cup 2026 in India in February-March next year. Image credit: X (Formerly Twitter) PSL 2026 will have to be held in April-May window because PCB have already given NOC to players to take part in BBL 2025-26 in December-January. ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is scheduled to take place in India and will probably be held with a 'hybrid' model with Pakistan's matches taking place outside India. Image credit: X (Formerly Twitter) Shaheen Afridi's Lahore Qalandars became PSL 2025 champions last month with a win over Quetta Gladiators. "There is a window available to the Pakistan board in December and first half of January but it has already given NOCs to Pakistani players to play in the Big Bash in Australia in this period and has also planned some domestic activities. So the discussion now with the franchise owners is to prepare for the PSL to be held in April-May just like this year," a PCB source was quoted as saying by PTI.
