HOUSTON, TEXAS - MARCH 11: Indi Hartwell (L) and Candice LeRae (R) enter the ring during WWE Monday Night RAW at Toyota Center on March 11, 2024 in Houston, Texas.
Alex BierensIn an interview with Simon Miller of WhatCulture Wrestling, Indi Hartwell spoke about her time with the company leading up to her unfortunate release in November 2024.
Hartwell noted that she didn't speak a lot onscreen, largely due to her Australian accent. That being said, if she was going to change one thing, she would have spoken up more behind the scenes.
"Yeah, I would have. I would have spoken up more and not just sat back," Hartwell said. "I just kind of sat back and did what I was told and didn't really speak up. So maybe I would have done that a bit more."
Still, Hartwell recognized this as an opportunity, seeing that she could leave, get more experience, and make a return to WWE if that's what she wants for her career.
"Drew McIntyre. He's a great example of that," Hartwell said. "He's a big inspiration to me. Like, I love seeing what he did and where he is now. So, it's awesome."
Now, Hartwell has been announced as one of the newest additions to TNA Wrestling, where she will no doubt make a massive impact.
More Pro Wrestling: Fan-Favorite WWE Tag Team Set To Reunite: Report
Hartwell began wrestling professionally in independent promotions around the world, including Shimmer, Melbourne City Wrestling, Rise, and Riot City Wrestling.
Hartwell made her WWE television debut on NXT in 2020. She soon joined forces with Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Austin Theory, and Dexter Lumis in a stable called The Way.
The group quickly became fan-favorites, with Hartwell and Lumis particularly garnering attention for their onscreen relationship, eventually in a wedding between the two on Sept. 14, 2021.
During her time in WWE, Hartwell won the NXT Women's Championship and the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with LeRae.

'Bursting With Joy': 100-Year-Old Woman Reflects on Her WWII Love Story
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Toni Cilberti was "bursting with joy" on October 5, 1947, the day of her wedding to Nicholas Cilberti. She wore a wedding dress that, today, may seem a bit unusual. Instead of satin or silk, her dress was made out of a nylon parachute used by her new husband from his time in the U.S. military. During World War II, when silk was in short supply, this was a common practice for brides. "I was so proud, I remember the day walking down the aisle, holding on to my father's arm. I was so proud," Toni Cilberti, now 100, said in an interview with Newsweek. "I was bursting with joy because I was wearing the nylon parachute wedding gown." The couple's love story, however, began with a different feeling—annoyance, she said. The Cilbertis met when they were children. Nicholas, or Nick, Cilberti was the brother of her best friend Carmel and would frequently "agonize" her. "He was like my worst person I wanted to be near," she said. "They stood on the corner and they tackled you when you went by from school." But years later, the childhood teasing would eventually turn into a blossoming romance after he went off to fight in World War II, she said. Carmel, who began dating Toni Cilberti's brother, suggested she should write to Nick Cilberti while he was abroad. She was reluctant, however. "I said, 'Absolutely not'," Toni Cilberti said. "'You know we can't stand each other.' And so she said, 'Well, if you don't write to my brother, I'm going to stop writing to your brother.' Well, I didn't want to break up that relationship, so I did begin writing. But I said, 'You ask him to send me the letter first, and then I'll respond.' So that's the way it went." Relationship Turning Point Those letters became a turning point in their relationship. Toni Cilberti described them as "the nicest letters you'd ever want to receive"—lovely and fun, but nothing "gooey or gushy." After months of writing, Nick Cilberti said he would be returning home on break and looked forward to dating her. Toni Cilberti wasn't sure how to react—writing letters was one thing, after all, but dating was different. But she decided she couldn't say no and accepted a date. It ended up being the "nicest time" she'd had in awhile, she said. "Before, he was like the teenage terror. But now he was a gentleman in the service, and he must have learned a lot because he was a perfect gentleman. I had such a good time I couldn't believe. I got home, and I couldn't just believe it. Ever since then, we got along just perfectly," she said. Dancing became a favorite date for the couple, she said, noting that he was an "excellent dancer." Nick Cilberti eventually had to return to the service, but they continued communicating through letters. "He would tell me about all his thoughts while he was away from his family and his home," Toni Cilberti said. "He told me about some of his experiences during the war and some of it was censored and blocked out." Letters were a frequent means of communication for couples separated by the war, Kimberly Guise, senior curator and director for curatorial affairs at The National WWII Museum, told Newsweek. "The most concrete evidence of these relationships is in correspondence," she said. "So written accounts of the time. Most of the letters at the time talk about that longing, wanting to be with someone, wanting to be being able to wait till they can be reunited." While Nick Cilberti was in service, Toni Cilberti would frequent the movies, where news reels showed the latest on the war, she said. Everyone in the community seemed affected by the conflict but tried to make the best of the situation, she said, adding that there were very few of her male classmates at her senior ball as many were sent abroad. "I don't remember running into anyone that was not conscious of the war and was trying to do everything for the war effort," she said. "We all seemed to blend together and work together." One day, the letters from Nick Cilberti stopped. He had been flying in a B-29 over Tokyo on his 16th mission when he and his fellow soldiers were "hit so bad that they didn't think they could get back to their formation," Tony Cilberti said. They tried to make it back to their landing field but lost a few of their engines on the way. They decided they either had to land on a remote island in the Philippines or jump into the ocean. They crash landed on an uncharted island in the Philippines chain. "It was stifling hot," she said. "They had nothing to eat but some vegetation." They were hesitant to drink the water due to concerns about pollution and had to watch a baby monkey drink from it first to determine it was safe for them, she said. Upon exploring the remote island, they encountered a group of Japanese soldiers and had to engage in hand-to-hand combat, she said. Eventually, they came across some friendly natives who helped them make a canoe from a tree trunk and sent them off to the next island. The group continued traveling from island to island until they reached their base—29 days after the crash. Had they been lost for just one more day, the soldiers would have been declared missing in action, she said. From Near Tragedy to Nuptials Nick Cilberti was treated in a local hospital, as the soldiers became infected with dysentery and other diseases contracted in the hot, humid region, and was discharged a few months later. The military offered him a trip back home on a plane but he was not quite ready to fly again, Toni Cilberti said. After a few months, a steamer arrived that could bring him back to the U.S. He was discharged from the military in 1946. "He brought home with him a parachute, a nylon parachute," she said. "Now, that parachute was fascinating to him and to his family, so they kept it. Then we began visiting each other. We began going out on dates, and then it became kind of personal for both of us, so we decided that I was to be his girlfriend, and he was to be my boyfriend." They got married about a year later, she said. A wedding photo of Toni and Nick Cilberti. A wedding photo of Toni and Nick Cilberti. Courtesy of The National WWII Museum. When it came to the dress, Japanese-produced silk was hard to get due to the war, she said. But her future mother-in-law was a seamstress and suggested they repurpose the parachute. "I remember we sat in a big sewing circle fashioned in her living room, opened up the parachute, and close friends of the family and related people in the family, we all sat around the parachute and each of us had a stitch ripper, and we took the panels apart, stitch by stitch by stitch," she said. "She put it all together and made this beautiful wedding gown." In the years after the war, the couple "did a lot of dancing and a lot of traveling," to areas like Cape Cod, and began their family seven years later. They had two daughters and settled in Glenville in New York's Capital region. Nick Cilberti became involved in the community, serving as a volunteer firefighter and beginning a career in electroplating, while Toni Cilberti became involved in volunteering. They lived happily together for decades, until Nick Cilberti passed away in 1992 at the age of 69. Toni Cilberti celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this year and remains active in her community, going dancing, clogging bowling and volunteering at a local children's hospital, she said. "My dear husband is always at the back in my mind. We had such a beautiful relationship," she said. "He was such a tremendous dancer. He was, as I said, an elegant dancer." Now, her wedding dress, which she kept on the top shelf of her closet for decades, rests in the National WWII Museum in New Orleans as part of the Malcolm S. Forbes Rare and Iconic Artifacts Gallery.

CANDICE Looks to '70s Cinema and Bush Traditions for FW25
Summary: CANDICEhas never been a brand to play it safe. For Fall/Winter 2025, the label dives into uncharted terrain with 'Frog Dreamin,' a collection that feels both ruggedly local and strikingly global. Drawing from Australia's untamed landscapes and the subcultures that pulse within them, 'Frog Dreaming' channels an aesthetic of fluid creativity and layered storytelling. The collection nods to a forgotten era of Australian cinema in the '70s and '80s, weaving nostalgic graphic references into garments that celebrate bush life, athletic codes and utilitarian traditions. Silhouettes lean into function, such as workwear staples reinterpreted through softened lines, trekking gear reimagined with a contemporary ease and vintage washes that evoke the rawness of the terrain. Accessories underscore the narrative, grounding the collection in CANDICE's ongoing dialogue between memory, landscape and the fluid identities of its wearers. The result is a wardrobe that feels lived-in yet cinematic, bridging past and present. As with every CANDICE season, the unexpected becomes the point where pieces designed to slip between worlds, made for those who prefer their fashion untethered. 'Frog Dreaming' will release globally on August 27 viaCANDICE's website.

WWE Raw results, live blog (Aug. 18, 2025): Naomi explains
WWE Monday Night Raw comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Aug. 18, 2025) from the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, featuring all the latest build to the upcoming Clash in Paris premium live event scheduled for later this month in France. Advertised for tonight: Women's World Champion Naomi will address the fans after she was declared medically unable to compete last week. We'll learn the truth on all the rumors going around over the past week. Elsewhere, Becky Lynch defends the women's Intercontinental championship against Natalya, The Vision will speak, Jey Uso takes on Bron Breakker in singles action, Iyo Sky vs. Raquel Rodriguez, Penta vs. Xavier Woods, and a whole lot more! Come right back here at 8 pm ET when the Raw live blog will kick off once the show starts on Netflix. It will be below this line here. The rat trap's filled with soul crusaders, the Circuit's lined and jammed with chromed invaders and she's so pretty that you're lost in the stars as you jockey your way through the cars and sit at the light, as it changes to green. But me? I'm just here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks. The show opens with a recap of last week's main event tag team match pitting CM Punk and LA Knight against the Bron 'n Bron Connection, the chaos it ended in, and the reveal that the World Heavyweight Championship match at Clash in Paris will be a four-way. The usual montage of talent arriving at the arena follows. The Vision make their entrance and Paul Heyman gets on the mic, doing his usual introductory spiel and adding that here in Philadelphia, he's not in god mode, he is god. They'd have a statue of him in the city but he's too gosh darn humble to take the credit he deserves for being the GOAT. But he's not the only GOAT in the ring because the Vision is full of GOATs. For example, Bron Breakker, the future of WrestleMania, the man that taught Roman Reigns to fear the spear, he is the big dog and this is his yard. And then there's 'Big' Bronson Reed, owner of the shoe-la fala, the master of the shoenami, the man who put Roman Reigns bad enough he didn't get back up, the Tribal Thief. He does a sidebar claiming 'OTC!' chants are actually 'Paul E!' chants before getting to Seth Rollins, a revolutionary, a visionary, an evolutionary, who deserves even more credit than Paul does, a man who pinned Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania, not once, but twice, your reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World. Enter 'Main Event' Jey Uso, coming through the crowd and yeeting as per usual. He stops in the stairs and has a bunch of kids yeet into the mic before he speaks. He says he's tired of hearing Seth and Paul talk, of them trying to threaten his family, and he's got next and he tapped out GUNTHER at WrestleMania, and it's only gonna get worse for Rollins in Paris. And look at puppydog Bron Breakker looking at him, he's about to have to stay on the porch tonight because he's looking at a real one. Seth gets on Bron telling him Jey thinks his family is better than his, they're a bunch of fatasses and he's got no respect for them. Breakker tries to rush out of the ring but Rollins and Heyman hold him back. Heyman scoffs at the idea of Jey trying stuff in Philly, where a long time ago in a bingo hall not that far away, men settled their grievances in the ring in a very specific type of match. No disqualification, no countout, submission or pinfall only, and in the name of Sandman smashing a beer can into his head, in the name of New Jack being the only real gangster in the business, in the name of Rob Van Dam smoking everyone out, in the name of the late great Sabu innovating moves nobody ever saw anymore, in the name of the late great Tommy Dreamer– yeah he's not dead yet but he should be– in the name of the Dudley Boyz putting everyone through tables– Jey Uso cuts him off and says he doesn't need to say any more, because the only rules he needs tonight are extreme rules! We get a recap of the dissent between Kabuki Warriors and IYO SKY. IYO is in Gorilla and the Kabukis roll up and Asuka apologizes for last week. SKY says it's okay and Kairi Sane says just let her know if she needs help. Post-match, Roxanne! Perez rushes the ring and beats IYO down! Raquel recovers and joins in… RHEA RIPLEY MAKES THE SAVE! Rhea blasts Rodriguez over the top rope with a big boot! LA Knight is interviewed backstage. He's not worried about any of Seth Rollins' plans but week after week it's the Vision– CM Punk rolls up and apologizes for interrupting. LA insists the interviewer stay there and Punk says they need to be on the same page and they don't need to like each other but– Knight says it's not about liking each other it's about CM Punk sticking his nose into his championship opportunities. Punk says he, Knight, and Jey need cohesion in the name of Punk and his goons and That Damn Numbers Game. LA says when they get to Paris he's gonna be the one holding the title up and that's that. New Day make their entrance and we go to break. Back from commercial, we get a hype reel touting the success of AAA TripleMania XXXIII. Backstage, Rhea Ripley chats with IYO SKY apologizing for interfering but IYO tells her it's okay. Kabuki Warriors come down and Asuka is upset that SKY told them not to help but is okay with Ripley helping and she and Rhea scream at each other until IYO yells at them to stop fighting and rants in Japanese before running off. Asuka tells Ripley to stay out of their business and leaves as Kairi lets out a long pained sigh and gives Rhea a 'you see what I have to deal with?' look. Penta goes for the Cero Miedo but Woods bites his hand and takes him into the corner to hit mounted punches and yell 'Where's my money!' Out to the apron, Xavier with a superkick, back suplex on the apron, Woods yells 'Gimme my money! Cero dinero!' into the camera and we go to break. Back from commercial, Woods in control, giant step strut, big boot, cover for two! Side headlock, knee lift, whip across, front kick from Penta, kick the calf, Sling Blade connects! Quebradora follows, Zero fired up, diving splash off the top takes Woods and Grayson Waller out both! Back inside, slingshot headstand corner dropkick for two, Xavier comes back with an inverted suplex for a nearfall of his own! Chops in the corner, Honor Roll countered into the Penta Driver but he's slow to capitalize and Kofi Kingston puts Woods' foot on the rope! Penta lands a superkick, flip piledriver follows it up… IT'S OVER! Penta wins by pinfall with a flip piledriver. We get a promo from after the show at TripleMania XXXIII where Dominik Mysterio calls out AJ Styles and says he'll see El Hijo del Vikingo at Worlds Collide and has a quick exchange with his dad Rey Mysterio about it, mostly in Spanish. And so we go to break. Back from commercial, commentary informs us that Raw is in England next week with an afternoon start time of 3pm Eastern. The Eagles are shown in the crowd, and listen I don't care about football but I live here and I can't in good conscience do my usual 'Football Jr.' type gimmick here. Lee and McDonagh to start, collar and elbow, struggling around the ring, Balor grabs the tail of Dragon's mask and JD takes full advantage of it, striking away! Sunset flip blocked, Lee with a double stomp, overhand chop, trading punches in the corner, kicks, Dragon with the dragon screw! Putting boots to McDonagh, back and forth, crossface strikes in the ropes from the Irishman! Chop in the corner, tag to Balor, Dragon turns the tide again, into the corner, tag to Iguana! Off the top with an axhandle, off the ropes, Finn drops Mr. with a lariat and he goes stock still! Balor stomps him, straight suplex, cover for two, back to stock still on his back! Crawling around, Balor stomps him a few times, scoop and a slam! Pop-up arm drag, another arm drag, dropkick, passing McDonagh to the floor with him, Lee and Iguana high five, off the ropes… STEREO TOPES CON GIRO AND WE GO TO BREAK! Back from commercial, McDonagh Poison Frankensteiner, Lee pops back up, Liger Bomb, both men down and out! Mr. Iguana waving La Yesca around, tags made! Iguana using Yesca as a whip, tijeras connects, duck under McDonagh, toss La Yesca at him, he catches her and Mr. drops him with a kick! Yesca in hand, biting Finn's hand, tag to Lee, dive takes JD out! Big kick from Dragon, float over, countered to the inverted headlock elbow drop, Iguana makes the save! McDonagh passes Mr. to the floor, Asai moonsault connects! Lee with a small package, cover for two! Superkick, big knee, Sling Blade cuts him off! Charging in, Dragon with a superkick, he takes the elbow pad off, Dominik Mysterio runs interference and Finn lands the shotgun dropkick!
