Previously, the last date to apply was July 31 and it was later extended.
The IAF Agniveervayu selection test will be held from September 25 onwards.
IAF Agnveervayu 2025: Eligibility criteria
Subject Eligibility Science
Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ or its equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from recognised education boards.
At least 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English. OR
Passed 3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a recognised Polytechnic institute
50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English in the Diploma course examination.
If English is not a subject of the diploma course, they should have the required marks in Intermediate/Matriculation exam. OR
Passed a two-year Vocational course with non-vocational subjects: Physics and Mathematics from recognised education boards
50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English in the Vocational course examination (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the Vocational course). Other than Science
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects from recognised boards
50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English. IAF Agniveervayu recruitment 2025: Age Limit
Those who were born between July 2, 2005 and January 2, 2009 (both dates inclusive) can apply for this recruitment process. If the candidate clears all the stages of the selection process, then the upper age limit on the date of enrolment should be 21 years.
The online recruitment exam will be objective-type, and questions will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the English paper.
For Science subjects, the exam duration will be 60 minutes and will comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
For other subjects, the total test duration will be 45 minutes and will comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).

Sathya Sai Collector launches I to V grades of Kendriya Vidyalaya on NACIN campus
District Collector T.S. Chetan on Monday inaugurated 'standard I to V' classes at the newly established Kendriya Vidyalaya on the campus of NACIN (National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics) near Palasamudram in Sri Sathya Sai district. 'Holistic development of students is possible only by imparting quality education,' the Collector said. Addressing the students, parents, and staff, the Collector highlighted that the government's core objective was to make quality education accessible to children of all the sections of society in rural areas. 'The Kendriya Vidyalaya set up in this rural ambience has a noble objective to provide vibrant academic and infrastructural support to students from Telugu, English, and Hindi medium backgrounds,' Mr. Chetan said. The Collector said that equipping students with strong English communication skills and comprehensive abilities, besides nurturing respect for their mother tongue, would play a vital role in their holistic development. 'It is the prime responsibility of teachers to strike a balance by empowering students with academic and social strategies to evolve into notable forces of change globally, without losing the aesthetics of glorious culture,' he said. CBSE begins preparing students for board exams
Advt Advt Schools have begun to orient students for next year's board exams on the basis of sample papers and marking schemes which has been recently released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the academic session 2025–26. According to the official CBSE circular, there has been no change in the exam pattern or marking scheme from the previous academic year (2024–25).This year, the CBSE released the sample papers earlier than usual, providing students more time to familiarise themselves with the structure of the upcoming exams. Alongside the sample papers, the marking schemes were also made available on the board's official website: Shekhar, academic coordinator at Oxford Public School, said, "These resources aim not only to aid exam preparation but also to strengthen classroom learning and conceptual understanding. CBSE has encouraged schools to integrate the sample papers into regular teaching practices."According to the circular, the sample papers cover all subjects, with most provided in both English and Hindi (excluding language-specific papers). The board examinations for both classes will be conducted in Feb 2026, with general instructions, section-wise distribution, and maximum marks clearly defined in the sample documents."CBSE's sample papers guide students preparing for competitive exams. It fully incorporates NCERT content.
