Sheriff: Teen suspect in central Wisconsin double homicide found dead, victims identified

PERSHING, Wis. (WFRV) – Deputies in central Wisconsin say the search for a 15-year-old person of interest connected to the deaths of two adults is over after he was found dead in Price County.
The Taylor County Sheriff's Office provided an update around 7:05 p.m. Saturday, April 12, after earlier in the morning, 15-year-old Kadyn D. Hadden was identified as a person of interest relating to what has since been labeled a double homicide.
Deputies stated in Saturday evening's release that around 12:40 p.m. earlier that day, law enforcement found the Chevrolet Impala that was tied to Hadden on a private property in Price County.

Hadden was found dead inside the vehicle.
Autopsy results were also completed on the two victims found dead inside the Town of Pershing home on April 9. The results showed that Josh R. Mann, 44, and Rebecca L. Mann, 43, died as a result of a homicide.
Sheriff Corey J. Dassow of the Taylor County Sheriff's Office stated that the investigation revealed that Hadden 'was responsible for the death of Josh and Rebecca Mann and [he] acted alone during the homicide.'

'I've learned about the different options that you have. It's not just a patrol officer that you see on TV—it's more that you can do, and it's so many behind-the-scenes work that happens too.' On Wednesday, students were introduced to the Green Bay Police Department's K-9 unit. Police dog Nox joined them in the classroom, where students observed how K-9s are trained and how they assist officers on calls. The academy is open to high school students in the area and is designed to help them determine whether law enforcement might be the right career path. FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A second illegal immigrant found in Fond du Lac County has been convicted of human trafficking sexual assault involving his co-defendant's daughter. Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney announced that Juan Carlos Rocha-Mejia was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child after pleading no contest. 42-year-old Wisconsin man arrested for 4th OWI after swerving in between multiple lanes Co-defendant Elia Antonio, the mother of the victim, was previously convicted of human trafficking of a child, failure to protect a child, and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Bond was revoked for Rocha-Mejia, and the judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation. 'Today is another step towards justice for the survivor, with the second defendant being convicted for a disgusting attack on a child,' said Toney. 'We look forward to the upcoming sentencing hearings to hold both defendants accountable and help the survivor move past the court process. I am grateful for the excellent investigative efforts by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office and ADA Menzl.' The investigation revealed that Rocha-Mejia and Antonio are illegally in the United States. The convictions stem from a sexual assault of Elia Antonio's daughter on March 18, 2024. Antonio gave her daughter to Rocha-Mejia to be sexually assaulted for approximately $250. Rocha-Mejia held the child in a van and attempted to duct-tape her as he began to sexually assault her. Multiple hurt in Sheboygan County crash involving dump truck, one severely injured The victim bravely fought back, biting Rocha-Mejia, and escaped to a nearby residence. The defendant's DNA and the survivor's DNA were found on duct tape located in the van. Rocha-Mejia faces up to 40 years of initial confinement.
