Andy Cohen Shuts Down Lindsay Hubbard RHONY Rumors: ‘I Don't Think So'
Ever since Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard gave birth, fans have wondered if her time in the House is over, and a future on RHONY may be in store.
While visiting Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live last week, Lindsay hinted at her future with Bravo. It's not practical for Linds to bring her baby into a weekend party house, so her time in the Hamptons may be over. 'Where do we go from here, Andy?' she asked. 'What do we do?'
Lindsay was hopeful that she might fit in with The Real Housewives of New York, since she does, in fact, live in New York. At the time, Andy avoided the question, saying, 'Alright, let's talk about it after the show.'
During a visit to Universal Studios in Orlando with his kids last week, Andy updated us on the status of some Housewives. He confirmed that The Real Housewives of New Jersey is still on hold. Basically, Season 15 won't be announced 'for a while.' They're still in the casting process at this time.
Turning to whether Lindsay would join RHONY for Season 16, sadly, Andy put that idea to rest. Feigning surprise that people were talking about her joining the cast, the Bravo executive producer played dumb.
'Are they saying that? I don't think so,' he responded. 'But I think she should always be on TV.'
'We are between seasons,' he added. 'We are always casting, and that's what's happening right now.' Although, it was somewhat ominous that neither RHONJ nor RHONY were on the list of Bravo shows up for renewal.
As far back as 2023, Lindsay has dreamed about moving from Summer House to RHONY. 'I'm ready to flip tables with girls my own age,' she said at the time. 'I think I was born to be a Housewife. But we have to get there first. I have to become a housewife first, and then maybe we'll graduate.'
Summer House is now streaming on Peacock in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
TELL US – ARE YOU DISAPPOINTED THAT LINDSAY WON'T BE ON RHONY? WHAT OTHER SHOW MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT FOR HER?

'Love Island USA' star Yulissa Escobar apologizes after sudden exit over racial slur
'Love Island USA' star Yulissa Escobar apologizes after sudden exit over racial slur Show Caption Hide Caption 'Love Island USA' host Ariana Madix on if she watches 'The Valley' "Love Island USA" host Ariana Madix explains to USA TODAY's Ralphie Aversa what it would take to get her back on Bravo reality TV show. Days after Yulissa Escobar unceremoniously left the "Love Island USA" villa, she has issued an apology for the online controversy that preceded her sudden departure. Before the show's seventh season premiered June 3, fans of the show were in an uproar over resurfaced clips of her using a racial epithet on a podcast. But the 27-year-old Miami businesswoman had presumably already lost access to her phone during production in Fiji. Her exit was briefly mentioned in voiceover narration during the second episode on June 4. Now off the Peacock show, Escobar has addressed the social-media frenzy over her resurfaced comments. "First, I want to apologize for using a word I had no right in using. Podcast clips from years ago have recently resurfaced, and I want to address it directly," Escobar wrote in the caption of a June 6 Instagram post. "In those clips, I used a word I never should've used, a racial slur. I used it ignorantly, not fully understanding the weight, history, or pain behind it. I wasn't trying to be offensive or harmful, but I recognize now that intention doesn't excuse impact. And the impact of that word is real. It's tied to generations of trauma, and it is not mine to use." Escobar continued to explain, "I was speaking casually in conversation, not thinking deeply or critically about what I was saying. But that doesn't take away from how wrong it was. The truth is, I didn't know better then, but I do now. I've taken the time to reflect, to learn, and to grow from that moment." She said she has "changed a lot since then" and acknowledged, "Growth means recognizing when you were wrong, even if it's uncomfortable, and choosing to move forward with humility and accountability." She denounced statements from others that "don't reflect me or my heart" and shared, "I'm choosing to speak for myself because I take full ownership of my actions." Escobar ended the post with contrition, writing, "To those who are disappointed or offended, I understand and I apologize. I am sorry." Peacock has not responded to USA TODAY's request for comment on Escobar's departure. The show's only on-air acknowledgement that Escobar was no longer on the show was Iain Stirling mentioning around 20 minutes into Episode 2, "Yulissa has left the villa." 'Love Island USA' complete guide: New to the show? Here's the must-know terminology Which contestants have been kicked off 'Love Island?' Over the years, a few Islanders have unceremoniously disappeared from the show, only to later emerge on social media with claims as to why they were no longer on screen. The show seldom issues an explanation through official channels. Some of these contestants who suddenly stopped appearing on the reality show included Season 2's Noah Purvis, Season 3's Leslie Golden and Season 4's Kyle Fraser. There have also been emotional departures over the previous six seasons, such as when Day 1 islander Josh Goldstein left the villa with then-partner Shannon St. Claire after his sister died. How to watch 'Love Island USA' New episodes of Love Island USA stream Thursday through Tuesday at 9 p.m. E.T. on Peacock.

Hoda Kotb responds to rumors about replacing Kelly Clarkson on daytime TV
(NewsNation) — Hoda Kotb recently told one fan that she is a 'never-say-never person' when it comes to hosting a daytime talk show. During an episode of 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,' the 60-year-old former anchor of The Today Show was asked about Kelly Clarkson's talk show. 'I heard the rumors that you might be starting a daytime talk show. Is that something you would ever consider doing?' Tom Felton joins 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' on Broadway Kotb responded with, 'Are you talking about the Kelly Clarkson rumor?' She then said Clarkson is a 'class all by herself,' but she would never say never when it comes to a talk show. 'You don't know what life's gonna bring you. But, at this moment, I'm having such fun with the ride that I'm on,' she continued. On May 28, Kotb went on the Today Show to talk about her wellness venture called Joy 101. While there, her replacement, Craig Melvin, asked about the Clarkson rumors. She responded to the question, saying, 'Do y'all think — I want to ask y'all a real question — do you think if I ever came back to TV, do you know where the only place I would ever come back to is? Right here. This is the spot… Delete, not true.' Kotb left her position at the Today Show in January after being on the show for 17 years. She told PEOPLE that it was because her six-year-old daughter Hope was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2023. Clarkson had missed 10 tapings in a row of her show in March, and fans were baffled at the time. There were even reports circulating that she wanted to quit her daytime talk show. Fans were even more confused when she cited 'personal reasons' for being absent. A source at the time told NewsNation's Paula Froelich that Clarkson was out because her ex-husband was sick. 'Her ex-husband is sick and she took the kids to see him,' the source said. Brandon Blackstock was a music manager until recently, when he stopped working for the company his father founded, Starstruck Entertainment. The former couple has a 10-year-old daughter, River Rose, and a 9-year-old son, Remington Alexander, together. Clarkson filed for divorce on June 4, 2020, with the two-year custody and spousal support battle ending in 2022. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
