Marnie Simpson gives birth! Geordie Shore star welcomes third child with husband Casey Johnson

has announced the birth of her third child with husband Casey Johnson, a baby girl. The couple, who tied the knot in March 2023, are also parents sons, Rox, five, and Oax, two. Sharing their happy news to Instagram on Friday, Marnie, 33, uploaded a selfie in bed as she assured fans both she and her daughter were doing well. She captioned the update: 'Baby girl is here safe & sound! We're Both doing really well and recovering. Shes so beautiful and perfec! 'I feel so blessed and still feels surreal I have a daughter. Gonna enjoy this baby bubble and get back to socials once I've recovered fully. Thanks for all the amazing messages it really means so much' Marnie announced her pregnancy in February with a black-and-white video featuring her ultrasound and touching moments of her children cradling her bump. Fans were shocked by the news, as Marnie had previously insisted she wouldn't have a third child due to her past difficult pregnancies. When pregnant with her second child, she stated: 'I would not go to three. I think you've got to find the balance for yourselves. 'We want to enjoy our lives as well. We've not waited too long to have kids and I feel like having two, we can give them the best life possible.' Casey and Marnie first became an item in June 2017 after they appeared on the reality show, Single AF together. Marnie previously revealed she was 'shocked' when Casey proposed in 2020 because she was 'at her worst' both 'mentally and physically.' She said she couldn't believe the former X Factor singer wanted to marry her after she spent months suffering from a painful bladder condition. Marnie was diagnosed with a chronic UTI in 2016 which got worse after giving birth to Rox in 2019. The reality star revealed she had to spend 'thousands of pounds' on doctors' consultations' she was eventually diagnosed with Trigonitis in 2020. Trigonitis is a condition where the triangular piece of tissue located in the lower part of the bladder becomes inflamed. Speaking about her engagement, Marnie told MailOnline: 'It was a really emotional moment because I think there were times this last year that I just couldn't even believe Casey was staying with me. 'I was in such a bad way mentally, emotionally and physically; I couldn't believe he even wanted to be with me. I was in such a bad way. 'When he asked me to marry him I was honestly shocked because I thought 'you're asking me to marry you when I'm literally at my worst?' 'For him to ask me to marry him at that point I thought 'what? You're asking me to marry you when I'm this ill?' It completely shocked me. He said he loved me unconditionally and it was just a real special moment.' Marnie rose to fame on Geordie Shore alongside co-stars Charlotte Crosby, Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei, where she was filmed having sex on TV, stripping off and having bust-ups. While Geordie Shore is still going, it now has a much different feel, with many of the cast members married with children. The latest season saw Marnie, Abbie Holborn, Chantelle Connelly, Charlotte Crosby, Chloe Ferry, Holly Hagan, James Tindale, Jay Gardiner, Kyle Christie, Nathan Henry and Sophie Kasaei travel to Cyprus with their partners and kids.

We get on really well. "We still live at home together, but of course, I want some adult company. I can't just sit and be with children all day, every day. "I like that time out - being away from home when I'm working - but I haven't got that time out being away from home not working and just enjoying some adult company. "I haven't had that, so I got the opportunity and thought, You know what? Why not? I understand myself, so I'll be fine. "I'll manage it and it was just a step too far." The Real Housewives of Cheshire alum continued: "I found it quite overwhelming, so I listened to myself and I'm really, really proud that I recognised how I felt... "I went home to my children after two weeks. I was supposed to do 10 weeks of filming - and I'd done two weeks - and I'm really, really proud of myself that I did what was right for me." She added: "If something doesn't feel right for you, physically, mentally, emotionally, it's okay to leave. "That's something I tell my children quite a lot, because being autistic, you can stay and do what other people want you to do. "I think it's really, really important to know that you can leave the party, you can leave the job, leave the event, you can leave the relationship at any time." Christine McGuinness had 'fun' fling with top soap actress after pair met at awards ceremony following split from Paddy Paddy and Christine announced they had separated in 2022 after 15 years together. The pair still live together for the sake of their children, despite the split. Christine spoke out about her sexuality for the first time recently, revealing she has dated both sexes since she was a teen. The Sun revealed her fling with a leading soap actress earlier this month. Their encounter came in 2023, the year after Christine split from her ex-Top Gear host husband, Paddy McGuinness, 51. The well-known actress, whom we are not naming, has previously been in relationships with men. Months after their marriage ended, Christine was pictured kissing singer Chelcee Grimes, 33. It has been revealed how Christine got "incredibly close" to footballer Chelcee before splitting from husband Paddy, 51. Yet the songwriter's recent fallout with pal Christine recently came to light, with the real reason for the pair's toxic spat revealed. The former couple have since disconnected on social media. Paddy and Christine first met through a mutual friend in 2007, when she was 19 and he was 33. In 2020, she was diagnosed with autism and ADHD after spending the majority of her life confused as to why she acted differently from everyone else growing up. Since then, the TV star has been raising awareness for it through interviews, television shows and public speaking. 6 The Real Housewives of Cheshire alum has shared news about her family life Credit: Getty 6 Christine was pictured kissing singer Chelcee Grimes following her split Credit: Instagram/@mrscmcguinness 6 The mum-of-three pulled out of Celebs Go Dating after 2 weeks due to her mental health being a priority Credit: Getty 6 In 2020, she was diagnosed with autism and ADHD Credit: Instagram / @mrscmcguinness
