Butter yellow buys for spring, including new Jo Loves scent and £7 Aldi limoncello
There's something about the colour butter yellow that just screams spring has sprung, right? It's that soft, sunshine-y shade that makes everything feel a bit more cheerful, a bit more golden hour, even if it's still a little chilly outside. This season, I'm leaning all the way into citrus vibes—think zesty liqueurs, sunshine-hued homeware, and a scent so good you'll want to bathe in it. Whether you're shopping for a little seasonal pick-me-up or just love a lemony aesthetic, I've rounded up a few butter yellow beauties that deliver big spring energy.
From Aldi's under-£7 Crema Di Limonici liqueur that's basically Amalfi in a bottle, to a dotty citrus art print from Desenio that's pure dopamine for your walls, this roundup has your sunshine fix sorted. I've also included Jo Loves' Pomelo Oud—think bright grapefruit with a sultry twist—for when you want your fragrance to feel like a golden-hour stroll. Whether it's a bargain or a bit of a splurge, these joyful yellow buys are guaranteed to put a spring in your step.

Vicky Pattison leads the ‘Amalficore' trend with lobster print New Look dress
Announcing her Strictly Come Dancing news on her podcast, Vicky Pattison jumped on the 'Amalficore' trend wearing an affordable lobster print New Look dress Pinterest Predicts 2025 labelled the 'fisherman aesthetic' as one of the biggest summer trends, and they weren't wrong. Everything from nautical stripes to fisherman sandals, rope accessories and sailor styles has been taking over the high street. We've seen the rise of shell and fish motifs over the past few summers, and now the coastal trend has officially taken over in every aspect. This has led to the rise of 'Amalficore' fashion, a Mediterranean-inspired style trend that many high street brands are jumping on. And Vicky Pattison is one of the latest celebrities to lead the trend with her Blue Striped Lobster Print Mini Shift Dress from New Look. During her joint podcast with Angela Scanlon, Vicky wore this mini dress to announce that she will be a contestant on the newest series of Strictly Come Dancing. Of course, most comments were flooded with congratulations on her achievement, but fans also praised her look and asked where it was from. After a little detective work, we spotted the £29.99 dress on New Look. Cut in a chic shift shape, it's the perfect blend of fun and sophistication, making it a go-to piece for sunny days or seaside getaways. The sleeveless design and breezy woven fabric keep it light and comfortable, while the classic crew neckline gives it a polished finish. With its bold mix of nautical stripes and quirky lobster motif, this mini fits perfectly into the nautical 'Amalficore' trend. Pair it with sandals for a laid-back daytime look, or elevate it with wedges and statement accessories for an evening by the coast. Vicky has been giving us some serious summer fashion inspiration lately, including a chic swimsuit that fans say has 'Bond girl vibes.' The swimsuit in question is Next's Zipped Shaping Tummy Control Swimsuit, which you can still pick up for £40 in sizes six to 24. The one piece has tummy control mesh that helps to sculpt and support your body, with high-cut legs and a scoop neckline for a flattering fit. If you're looking for more fashion pieces that fit into the Amalfi trend, Mango's striped flared dress is now £35.99. Chic, airy and flattering, you'll be living in this stylish number the rest of summer.

This £30 alternative to Vogue Williams' £160 lemon print bikini is great for bigger busts
Vogue Williams nailed the Amalfi aesthetic in her £160 lemon print bikini on holiday with her family, and we found a great alternative for just £30 that's perfect for bigger busts The Amalfi aesthetic and Euro girl summer have become staples in our holiday wardrobe this summer, full of lemon prints, linen dresses and vintage glamour-inspired accessories like head scarves and oversized sunglasses. And one celeb to nail the look is Vogue Williams during her recent family holiday to Spain. Whilst there, Vogue donned a lemon print bikini from Alexandra Miro, which costs £160 for the top and £130 for the bottoms. Whilst we may not have £290 to shell out on a bikini, we found a fantastic alternative at Next, with the complete set costing less than £50. The Next White/Blue Stripe Lemon Print Wired Bandeau Bikini Top is just £30 and is great for those with bigger busts or anyone who wants a little extra support from their bikini top. It's fully underwired to give you lift and support, with wide shoulder straps which prevents digging in and spreads the pressure to avoid pain and give you more security. The straps are also fully detachable, so you can sunbathe without worrying about tan lines, or leave them attached to give you extra support whilst out and about or swimming. There's also light padding to provide flattering support, and it comes in standard bra sizes so you can get the exact fit you need. Sizes span from 32A to 38G, with Next recommending you pick it up in your usual bra size to give you the best fit. There's also a range of matching bikini bottoms to choose from including high waisted and roll top full coverage pairs, with the Lettuce Edge High Leg Bikini Bottoms our favourites, priced at £16 and coming in sizes six to 20. Shoppers have loved the bikini, giving it a 4.5 star rating. One wrote: 'With a larger bust (36E) I have found it very hard to find a pretty but supportive bikini top until now! I absolutely love the coverage, the support and the style of this bikini top so much that I bought a second one in a different colour. I initially tried it because the straps are removable so I could try and balance out those tan lines and even without the straps the support was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it!' Whilst another added: 'Wonderful bikini top soft to touch lovely fit. Fabulous colour a stand out look . Thank you next. Loved it that much brought same bikini in a different colour.' Some found packing the bikini a little tricky due to its design, with one writing: 'Found this to be a great size/shape and really flattering for my 32 DD chest. I like the texturing of the material too. Removable straps also a good touch. I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5, as whilst I like the padded structuring it is quite rigid, which has made this item difficult to pack in my holiday suitcase without the padding getting damaged.' If you prefer to be even more covered, the £55 Dolce Vita V-Neck Tummy Control Swimsuit - Green Tropical from Pour Moi is a great alternative, with its yellow and green palm print giving a nod to that Amalfi vibe. Alternatively you can pick up the White Lemon Embroidered Long Sleeve Shirt for £18 down from £29.99 at New Look, which would make the perfect cover up whilst at the beach or round the pool. However Next also has plenty of lemon print swimwear available. In fact, you can shop everything from matching beach bags to one piece swimsuits, midi dresses and shirt and shorts sets in the same print.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi? WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy. For reduced items - when shops open Red sticker items are rare at Aldi's 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found - if you're quick. A spokesman for the supermarket said: "All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates." That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens. Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store's times by using the supermarket's online shop finder tool. For Specialbuys - Thursdays and Sundays Specialbuys are Aldi's weekly collection of items that it doesn't normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools. New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals. For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store's opening time. Remember: once they're gone, they're gone, so if there's something you really want, visit as early as possible Jellycat Crime There is such as a craze around Jellycats, that some people have even turned to crime to get their hands on some. Advertisement There has been a major toy-snatching crime wave sweeping the UK - and fakes cropping up left right and centre. One woman was caught on CCTV stuffing a "significant amount" of the trendy plushies from St Peter's Garden Centre, Worcester, into her trousers and bags. The 38-year-old was busted helping herself to the incredibly popular soft toys from the shelves on June 7 this year. The next day she struck again at The Valley shopping centre in Evesham, where she pinched Jellycats worth £121. She later returned to the same shopping centre where she stole a further £170 worth of the toys. Advertisement
